Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Company and Proposals for its Improvement

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of the selected company VFS Trading s.r.o., based on the financial statements for the period 2018 and 2022 using the methods of financial analysis, which are discussed in detail in the theoretical part of the thesis. The obtained results are then compared with a suitable benchmark firm in the same line of business. Based on this data, proposals are formulated to improve the current financial situation of the company, including the conditions and timetable for the implementation of the proposal.

The Impact of Trading CO2 Allowances in a Highly Energy-Intensive Company on Financial Indicators

The diploma thesis "Impact of trading with CO2 allowances in a highly energy-intensive company on financial indicators" is aimed at monitoring the current situation of trading with emission allowances and its impact on financial ratios -EBITDA, Cashflow in the company CEMMAC a.s. Several analytical tools have been used to develop a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the company - SWOT analysis, financial analysis, correlation analysis and detailed trading analysis. As a result of the analysis, the inappropriateness of the current method of trading emission allowances was confirmed, which also had a negative impact on selected financial indicators. The proposal part of the thesis contains suggestions for different trading methods that will enable the company to improve its current financial situation.

This diplome thesisdeals with determining of investment project economic efficiency. Evaluated investment project is redevelopment of urban house into boarding house with restaurant and café. The project is analyzed both in terms of pre-investment phase and 6 years after completion or reconstruction. There is comparison of both analysis at the end of dissertation including optimal solution suggestion of current situation.
