Multifunctional house

This master thesis deals with study of area, which is intended for construction of apartments building and public facilities. Four building are projected with visually connection by a covered parking place. There are three apartments building and one multifunctional building. The aim of this master thesis is elaboration of project documentation for the implementation of new multifunctional house in the area of the city Uherský Brod. In the first floor is designed café, which has its own entrance. In the second part of the floor is household equipment and utility room, which also has a separate entrance from outside. In the second to fourth floor is ten housing units of different sizes. The object is located on a gently sloping land in the northern part of Uherský Brod in the new city district called “Nad Zámkem”. Wall construction is designed from Porotherm elements. Ceiling construction is monolithic reinforced concrete. Roofing is solved by single-flat roof. The drawing part of this master thesis is processed in AutoCAD.
Single-family house

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to undertake a project documentation for the construction of a new single-family house which falls within the administrative area of Uherský Brod. The documentation explores a two-storey detached house suitable for four family members. The house has two floors, where each floor has a specific purpose. The first floor performs the social and technical function, whereas the second floor comprises the relaxation area. Two parking spaces are provided by the garage which is situated on the ground floor. The building is based on strip footings mounted by necks from lost formwork. Both vertical and horizontal structures are made of Porotherm structural brick construction system. A non-trafficable flat roof is chosen as a solution to the building´s roofing. The second recessed floor is covered by a shed roof that is pitched at 9 degrees. The drawing documentation of the thesis is processed in the AutoCAD software.
The Stereotype of a Deaf Person in Czech Society

The thesis focuses on the reconstruction of the stereotype of a deaf person (hluchý/neslyšící) in the Czech society, based on a questionnaire survey. First, the research context is presented - with an emphasis on concepts such as the linguistic picture of the world, the opposition own - foreign (us - them), and especially the stereotype, also in a brief comparison with other concepts of social stereotype, with Allport's concept of stereotype and prejudice etc. Subsequently, the attention is devoted to connotations, cognitive definition and linguistic methods of ascertaining connotations as the basis of the stereotype structure (linguistic, textual, empirical data). With the help of Czech dictionaries and previous works, the central position of the Czech stereotype of a deaf person is briefly described based on systemic, or folklore data. The core of this thesis is qualitative empirical research inspired by J. Bartmińský's methodology (100 respondents in two age and social groups, open-ended questions directed at the basic positions of the stereotype: appearance, characteristics, behavior, etc.). Communication education at second level of selected primary schools specialized in education of pupils with hearing impairment

(English) This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of communication education at the second grade of selected primary schools specialized in the education of students with hearing impairment. The aim of this work is to find out what place communication education occupies in these schools, to what extent it is an integral part of the educational concept of these schools and in what forms it is implemented. The work is designed from a general basis to specific topics, so in the first chapters it defines the terms communication and communication education, then outlines the historical and current form of communication education in our country and then analyzes the individual components and methods of communication education. Subsequently, it places these topics in the context of the issue of students with hearing impairment. The practical part of this work includes a content analysis of curriculum documents (general and specific), semi-structured interviews with communication education pedagogues at selected schools and a didactic and content analysis of the provision of teaching materials and student works provided by particular schools. Name Signs for Chosen Czech Politicians in the Czech Sign Language

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the name signs of chosen Czech politicians in the Czech sign language. The main objective is to describe and classify those signs and point out tendencies for their creation, for example, those related to political correctness. Name signs used among the Deaf are later compared to those used in the news program in Czech sign language (Zprávy v českém znakovém jazyce). The first part of the thesis covers proper nouns in the Czech language, heavily focusing on anthroponyms and their types which the author considers relevant for the thesis. The next chapter characterizes name signs and their categorization, which is based on the diploma thesis by Radka Faltínová (2005). The research part of the thesis describes and categorizes all the variations of the name signs collected from respondents and the news program in Czech sign language (Zprávy v českém znakovém jazyce). The author compares these two groups of name signs and comments on potential links between the frequency in which people watch the TV news in Czech sign language (Zprávy v českém znakovém jazyce) and used variants of the name signs. The aim of this work is to summarize the knowledge about the functioning of sign language in an artistic text in the context of cognitive linguistics and cognitive poetics. Specifically, the work focuses on anthropomorphism and methods, means and effects of anthropomorphization in the poetry of the deaf. The poem of deaf poet with an emphasis on the processes of anthropomorphization will be analysed in detail on the basis of sub-steps. The poem is Strom by the Czech poet Sergei Josef Bovkun. The bachelor thesis is based mainly on the literature of Sutton-Spence (2005), Sutton-Spence - Kaneko (2016) and Sutton-Spence - Napoli (2010).
Finger alphabet as an integral part of Scouting?

This Batchelor work concentrate to Czech fingerspelling. The work inspects and descripts as its traditional form used by deaf society (separately also as part of speech in sign language), as nontraditional form of use fingerspelling by hearing society of Czech scouts. The work indicates its use at scout (and except it) and also why young scouts learn the fingerspelling. This work compares use of fingerspelling at folklore with use of fingerspelling at scouting with its use at deaf society (casually in community of the Deaf people). Also, collected data about form of pronouncement fingerspelling are compared. The work progresses by collecting relevant facts, next is researching probe by semi-structured interviews and finally these data about fingerspelling are enlightened by their reciprocal relationships. By researching, the work answers the question, if the fingerspelling is a part of scouting, or a part of the child folklore. Oppositeness in Czech and it's linguistic picture of the world

Práce se zabývá opozitními významovými relacemi mezi lexikálními jednotkami ve slovní zásobě, jež vyjadřují pojmové opozice v našem myšlení a konceptualizaci skutečnosti. Popisuje opozita z hlediska lexikologie (jako součást jazykového systému) a z hlediska stylistiky (zejm. jejich úlohu ve figurách a kompozici); směřuje k souvislostem mezi poznatky z těchto lingvistických disciplín a tím, jakje opozitní vztah vnímám obecně, jakou má úlohu v orientaci člověka ve světě, resp. jaký má podíl na utváření našeho jazykového obrazu světa. Tato práce vychází především ze zdrojů odborné literatury "tradiční" strukturalistické jazykovědy a prací lingvistiky kognitivně-kulturní. Dělí se v zásadě na dvě části, z nichž první je převážně výkladová, zabývá se definicí opozitnosti, relevantními rysy opozit, jejich klasifikací, aspekty opozitnosti a souvisejícími tématy v rámci lingvistiky. V druhé části popisuje jazykový obraz světa v české lidové slovesnosti prostřednictvím analýzy opozitních vztahů - jak v rovině lexikálně-sémantické, tak v rovině zobrazované skutečnosti.
