Hodnocení dalamánků s přídavkem žitné a luštěninové mouky
Procházková, Iveta
This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of bread rolls with the addition of rye and leguminous flour. The baking experiment has been performed on the Mendel University Institute of Food Technology in Brno. The wheat bread rolls were baked with the additions of 10, 20, 30, 70, 80 and 90 % of rye flour and with the additions of 5, 10 and 15 % of leguminous and chickpeas flour. The specific volume, extent of baking and size were set for the bread rolls. The firmness was set by the Tiratest 27025 machine. The measured outcomes varied from 5 N (control sample with the addition of 10% of leguminous flour) to 14,8 N (sample with 90% of rye flour), statistically significant difference was found out (p < 0,05). The basic sensoric descriptors were analysed with the use of unstructured, 10cms large graphic scale. Sensorically best sample from the tested bread rolls was the one with the addition of 10 % rye and 5 % of chickpeas flour. Statistica 12 was used for the statistical processing.
Instruments of Social Policy in the Integration of refugees from Burma
Procházková, Iveta ; Pouchlá, Irena (advisor) ; Kernová, Iva (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe selected instruments of social politics implemented in the integration of the refugees from Burma in the Czech Republic and evaluate its success. The thesis concentrates to the settings and means of practical realization of social politics of the Czech Republic in the area of integration of refugees. For the purposes of this thesis itis specifically integration of the refugees from Burma who came to the Czech Republic through the resettlement program. There is focus to the three areas - employment, language skills and access to information. The thesis describes the resettlement program and the national integration program as the main instrument in the integration of refugees in the Czech Republic. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Rozdíl ve zpracování pšenice a žita na mouku
Procházková, Iveta
This bachelor thesis is focused on the difference between flour production from wheat and from rye. The work is in the form of literary recherche. There are two parts, the first one focuses on the caryopsis structure and chemical components. The main difference in chemical components of wheat and rye is that the wheat gluten is composed of proteins whereas rye gluten is composed of non-starch polysaccharides and pentosanes. The second part describes the technology of grain processing from the intake, through the milling, where there are different diameters of milling rollers for wheat and for rye. The work delienates the mixing, expedition and characteristics of the single types of passage flours. It also characterizes the given machines and their function in the grain flow and the following grist by the mill another difference between wheat and rye is the colour of the flour, which is caused by the diverse content of the covering layers. The last part evaluates the given problematic of the mill technology.
Genetic determination of type 2 diabetes mellitus, analysis of selected genes - THADA, MAEA, JAZF1 and ARAP1
Procházková, Iveta ; Hubáček, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kaňková, Kateřina (referee)
Introduction: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a worldwide spread disease of affluence which prevalence has been growing. Although, the probability of its manifestation is being linked above all with environmental factors, genetic susceptibility plays an important role too. The aim of this thesis was to find out the association of four polymorphisms with the risk of T2DM manifestation in Czech population. Polymorphisms rs10203174 THADA, rs6819243 MAEA, rs849135 JAZF1 and rs1552224 ARAP1 (CENTD2) were chosen based on their risk in British population. Methodology: We studied groups of 712 Czech patients with T2DM and 752 healthy controls selected as a random sample of Czech population in the post-MONICA study. For a genotypisation rs10203174 and rs6819243 we used the PCR-RFLP method. For an analysis of genotypes rs849135 and rs1552224 was used the real-time PCR method. The results were analysed via odds ratio (OR) a chi-square test. Results: In case of the rs1552224 variant, the risk was proved with statistical significance (P = 0,01). The value of OR for the risk allele T is 1,37 (95% CI 1,07-1,75). In case of the polymorphisms rs10203174, rs6819243 and rs849135 no significant association with the disease was proved. For rs10203174 the value of OR of the allele C is 1,20 (95% CI 0,91-1,56, P = 0,20), OR of...

Diabetes mellitus, environmental and genetic risk factors
Procházková, Iveta ; Hubáček, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kovacs, Peter (referee)
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is globally widespread group of diseases characterised by increased blood glucose. There are several types, the most common is type 1 DM and type 2 DM. Multifactorial polygenic inheritance is typical for DM with exeption of couple monogenic forms. Type 1 DM is autoimmune form usually manifesting since childhood. Its manifestation is influenced mostly by HLA system genotype, but also by non-HLA genes together with environmental factors, amongst which nutrition of the children is predominant. Type 2 DM develops usually in adulthood. The development is influenced by obesity and lack of movement, but the individual sensitivity to type 2 DM is also genetically determined. Main genetic factors are variations in genes TCF7L2 and FTO as well as in genes coding cyclin dependent kinases.
Library 2.0 and application of its features in library systems
Procházková, Iveta ; Pokorný, Jan (advisor) ; Římanová, Radka (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis are software tools, enabling enriching of library systems in terms of library 2.0. The work deals with web 2.0 and library 2.0 concepts and describes tools enabling implementation of theirs' features into catalogues of both czech and foreign libraries. The bachelor thesis is divided into four main chapters. Introductory chapter serves as an introduction into problematics of Library 2.0 and definition of used terms. The second chapter is devoted to concepts of web 2.0 and library 2.0 and gives examples of usage in library environment. The third chapter deals with new requirements on library catalogues and implementation of web 2.0 and library 2.0 features in library systems. The main part of the work is the fourth chapter that describes software tools enabling introducing library 2.0 features into library catalogues. The final chapter summarizes possibilities of use of library 2.0 features in library catalogues and compares the chosen tools, that enable implementation of library 2.0 features.
