The Feasts in the Rhythm of Year: Experiencing the Feasts in the Waldorf`s Pedagogy
Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Moral Upbringing of a Pre-School Child
In this seminar I give examples of how to prepare a summer camp for integrated groups of children. There are three parts. In the first part you can find general information on how to prepare a summer camp, more specific information being in the section on specialized literature. The second part deals with the special needs of handicapped children, how to build a suitable environment to meet their physical and mental development needs, which will allow for growth and expression, as well as for non- handicapped children, and allow for friendship and positive interaction between handicapped and non- handicapped children. In the third and main part of this seminar, I describe, day by day, a multi-stage game for integrated groups of children. In this game handicapped children can show their abilities, knowledge, and are given the chance to gain self-confidence. To children without handicaps the game brings knowledge of handicapped children's lives, and helps to develop understanding. Also, it focuses on the physical development of the children, and helps build awareness of life in their country. This helps to decrease the distance between handicapped people and the rest of society. Public attitudes towards people with handicaps are full of misunderstanding and apathy. The purpose of integrated summer camp is...

Vondrušková, Josefína ; Ortová, Marie (advisor) ; Růžička, Vít (referee)
The topic of my work: to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in free-time activities, or is it possible to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in scouting system? This is the reason why in my work I am trying to compare the approach of Steinerov's pedogogical system and scouting methods in upbringing children. The goal of my work is to find compatable elements and different disputes of both systems and by this find out if it is possible to apply the Waldorf system in scouting practices. My work, most of all is based on long terms work and experience in scouting groups and the Waldorf systems is based on theoretical information found in professional and available literature. I deal, mainly, with children's current wishes and demands for free-time activities, and hence at the same time I am trying to find a possibility to modernize scouting upbringing and practices in order for the center to be more interesting especially for children. One of the possibilities I see is found especially in this form of educational system. After stating the requirments for free-time activity I try to completely characterize the current methods, individually important of the area in preactice. In a similar way, I describe walsorfskou pedagogicu and antroposophical approach to the upbriniging. In the last...
Managing Children with ADHD
Lukášová, Michaela ; Ortová, Marie (advisor) ; Klímová, Olga (referee)
My final thesis deals with the problematics of children with ADHD from the pedagogical point of view. Because this defect, with symptoms like hyperactivity, impulsivity and enourmous excentricism, is connected with various difficulties, it also offers a range of most common methods of teaching and personal approaches to hyperkinetic children. In the theoretic part, there are described main problems connected with ADHD and ways of their solving and prevention. It strats with the general chracteristcs of ADHD wtih it ́s symptoms, causes, types and possible risks and further deals with the main areas of help: teaching environment, diagnostics, psycho-pharmakotherapy and also alternattive methods. The second, parctical part of my thesis is aimed to the comparison of previously mentioned theoretical findings and practical knowledge based on my questionCforms. It describes especially tha diagnostics and working methods with children suffering ADHD, ways of their treatment and other additional help activities like hobby groups etc. Hyperactive children are often considered less intelligent or naughty, but their unsusual behaviour is connected with their defect. If it is recognized and cured in time and if the children are treated in the right manner, it can be depressed to minimum. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
