Trojovská, Zuzana ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Fišerová, Zuzana (referee)
In her thesis The Peace of Art, the author deals with situations in which artistic activity brings individuals together as participants. These situations are encountered through descriptions in the theoretical, research and practical sections. In the theoretical part, two authors of socially engaged art projects are introduced and examples of their work are presented, demonstrating different artistic approaches and pathways to participatory audiences. The theoretical part focuses on the Czech environment in cultural and educational discourse. Through art education, art enters the ground of (not only) primary schools, where it encounters obstacles and gaps between the participants of the educational process. The theory continues by introducing the subject of art education in a Czech public elementary school and describing some of the ways of collaboration that take place in the school environment. The author enters the issue as an admirer of socially collaborative art and brings her personal experience of finding understanding on the basis of visual communication. The aim of this thesis is to introduce this feature of artistic activities and to present a research project in which students undertake a visual journey during art class that can subtly lead them to greater empathy and during which they...
Gallery and museum education of Deaf
Marešová, Veronika ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Fulková, Marie (referee)
In this thesis I am concerned with gallery and museum education for deaf people. I visited the innovative, interactive Głusza exhibition at the Silesian Museum in Katowice, dedicated to Deaf culture, which subsequently inspired me to design an educational programme for Deaf and hearing audiences. Subsequently, I compared my findings with programmes and opportunities in Prague. I attempted to create a proposal for an educational program for both hearing and deaf audiences. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to highlight an issue that is still marginal in education, to explore the possibilities of gallery education for deaf pupils and to design my own project for lower-secondary pupils of primary school. From this knowledge and professional reflection, I have made recommendations on how to create educational programmes for deaf and hearing audiences and how to improve cooperation between galleries and museums and the deaf.

Šmídová, Kateřina ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Jakubcová Hajdušková, Lucie (referee)
The thesis explores the opportunities offered by art education in supporting the social relations amongst pupils with a different mother tongue. It investigates the potential of artistic practices of art education in promoting understanding among pupils; specifically in the integration of Ukrainian pupils who have come to class without prior knowledge of the Czech language. Environment, time and artistic creation of talented pupils
Derflová, Michaela ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Kuříková, Michaela (referee)
The diploma focuses primarily on the issue of creativity development and self-realization for talented students in art education classes. It also monitors the quality of creative work depending on the environment, time allocation and situation. The students are presented with ideas for creation, which they can complete and change according to their imagination, feelings and skills. I focus on the aspect of constant internal motivation depending on the appropriate creative environment and the possibility of applying an individual solution and I also examine the importance of the time factor that the student has for his work determined by the schedule. Using a qualitative case study, I am also looking for an answer to what time allocation is sufficient for the student. The research shows that a suitable environment for the creation of talented female students is that with plenty of freedom and space for emancipation is provided, in which they can express themselves and which is stimulating for them. They look for enough motivation to be creative and a calm, welcoming environment. On the contrary, an environment with trivial tasks, too much pressure, an insufficiently educated teacher and a lack of incentives and support is unsuitable for them. Research also shows that the time allowance according to...
All my beginning identities
Staňková, Barbora ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Francová, Sylva (referee)
1 ABSTRACT In which situations have I found myself as an aspiring and later as a beginning teacher? How do I experience my affiliation with this profession today? What roles shape me as an educator? How do they influence my views on education? How do they impact my professional identity? The beginning of a professional career is a transitory and transformative period, crucial for further development, and builds upon various past experiences that date back to childhood. The theoretical part of this study navigates between social science, pedagogical, and artistic discourse. It draws on contemporary art that offers an approach to questions of identity and subjectivity, exemplified by works from authors such as Margit Titlová, Rineke Dijkstra, Marlene Dumas, Cindy Sherman, among others. The research section maps, through the analysis of autobiographical records, various situations and roles I encountered at the beginning of my career, as well as during the period leading up to this career. The autobiographical research oscillates between an artistic approach and an approach based on qualitative research, emphasizing the tension between the internal and external dimensions of identity. The artographic project outlines selected aspects of my personal identity through the use of photographic medium. Shadows...

At the very beginning of the work is a theoritical part, containing an introduction to the diary and subsequently the necessary information about its brief history, creation, types, binding, tools and other necessary technical parameters suitable for creating a diary. In this part of the work, you will also get to know several important Czech and world artists, who are or have been involved in creating a diary and have a close or even deeper relationship with it. Their presentation is intended to serve as an inspiration, thanks to which we can understand the different perceptions of the diary. In this thesis, their life is very briefly introduced, followed by their work and primarily focused on the diary. Next, there is a practical part, in which it is possible to look into my creation of the diary, my thought processes that I had during the creation, and finally it contains a few photos from the diary as examples. At the end of the work, we come to the didactic part discussing the inclusion and use of the diary in education. At the end, you will find suggestions for art education lessons in connection with the diary. I am trying to figure out the possibility of reducing the time required, which can be the main stumbling block when...
