v Abstract Author: Alexandra Supervisor: Mgr. Ilona Title: A case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment for a pacient with a diagnosis after total hip replacement Objectives: Summarization of theoretical and practical knowledge about total hip replacement and to process the case study with this diagnosis. Methods: This thesis consists of two main parts - a theoretical part and special part. The theoretical part includes information of osteoarthrosis with total hip replacement. It describes the structure of the hip joint, defines osteoarthrosis and its risks, indications for the total endoprothesis, different types of hip implants, surgical approaches and pre- and post- rehabilitation processes. The special part contains the case study of pacient after implantation of the total hip endoprothesis. It presents the evaluation of the therapy which started on the fifth day after implantation and ended on the fourteenth day. Results: The short term goals which were specified at beginning of therapy were accomplished. We managed to increase the range of motion at the operated leg, increase muscle strength on weaker muscles, stretched shortened muscles and decreased muscle tone on hypertrofic muscles. Further we improved walking stereotype, increased physical fitness and performed the treatment on soft tissues....

Ilona Kučerová Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to elaboratethe theoretical part of the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. Follow-up practical processing of the case study of patient diagnosed with multiple sclerosis Methods: This work was processed based on bachelor's and specialized internships. The case study was conducted on a patient diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at Agel Říčany a. s., with these internships taking place from January 8, 2024, to February 2, 2024. Specialized methods taught at the UK FTVS were used in the bachelor's degree program scope. Initialy, the patient's medical history was taken, followed by an initial kinesiological analysis. Based on the results of the initial kinesiological analysis, a shortterm and long-term therapeutic plan were established. A total of 17 therapeutic sessions were conducted. During the final session, an exit kinesiological analysis was performed, upon which the therapy's effectiveness was evaluated. The general section involved processing theoretical information related to multiple sclerosis. Results: As a result of the therapy, the patient experienced improvement, and most of the set goals were...

Background Physiotherapy represents a valuable intervention applied to COVID-19 patients suffering from respiratory symptoms. Objective To assess the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic modalities on pulmonary function, physical function, and psychosocial effect of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Methods A comprehensive systematic literature search of CINAHL, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library, and Scopus was done to retrieve potential peer-reviewed articles that assessed the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic modalities on pulmonary function, physical function, and psychosocial effect of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Results Of the 1093 potential articles assessed, 9 met the inclusion criteria. The results demonstrated that respiratory rehabilitation improves respiratory function, exercise capacity, and quality of life in patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Conclusion Respiratory rehabilitation and telerehabilitation programs are effective in improving the functional capacity, quality of life, and respiratory function of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Keywords: physiotherapeutic procedures; telerehabilitation; functional capacity; dyspnea capacity; pulmonary function.
The effectiveness of physiotherapeutic intervention on primary dysmenorrhea.
Němečková, Eliška ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Kučerová, Ilona (referee)
Title: Effectivness of physiotherapeutic intervention on primary dysmenorrhea therapy Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of a twelve-week physiotherapy intervention including manual therapy according to dysmenorrhea. Methods: This experimental study evaluates the benefits of physiotherapeutic intervention in women with primary dysmenorrhea. Female probands suffering from primary dysmenorrhea were selected and randomly divided into two groups. Two standardized qualitative questionnaires, Menstrual Distress Questionnaire and Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire were used to assess dysmenorrhea and the effect of therapy at the beginning of the experiment and at the end of the experiment after three months. During these months, three physiotherapy interventions were performed, which included examination and treatment by joint mobilisation series and examination and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles The control group did not undergo any treatment of primary dysmenorrhea for three months. Results: Differences in the income and outcome values of the Menstrual Distress Questionnaire and pain descriptors from the Short-Form McGill Questionnaire in probands who underwent the intervention were statistically significant (p <0.05). The differences in the mean values of the...

Effectivity of Combined Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation Rehabilitation Approach on Gait post Stroke
Hlomayi, Belinda Yeukai ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Kučerová, Ilona (referee)
Effectivity of Combined Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation Rehabilitation Approach on Gait post Stroke Abstract Background: this review is assessing the effectiveness of combing forms of rhythmic auditory stimulation (a form of neurologic music therapy) to commonly used physiotherapeutic methods in the treatment of gait for hemiplegic/paresis stroke patients. Aim: to evaluate the extent in which Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation (RAS) combined therapy has a positive effect on gait for stroke patients, and whether RAS combined therapy is a more effective approach than conventional physiotherapeutic approaches. Methods: Databases Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Pubmed and Science Direct were searched. All databases were searched using a publication year range from 2009- 2022. Studies accepted were either Randomized Control Trials, Clinical Control Trails or Case Control Studies, evaluating RAS combined therapy versus conventional physiotherapeutic methods for Hemiplegic/paresis stroke patients. The outcome measures evaluated were gait and balance ability, according to spatiotemporal gait parameters and balance or lower extremity function assessments. Data was extracted according to PRISMA guidelines as well as with the help of a reference manager. The studies were analysed for risk of bias according to...
