The influence of specific futsal preparation on the body composition of Bohemians Prague 1905 futsal players
Ploc, David ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Jandová, Tereza (referee)
Title: The effect of specific futsal preparatory period on the body composition of Bohemians Praha 1905 futsal players Objectives: The main objective of the study was to analyze changes in selected parameters of body composition of the Bohemians Praha 1905 futsal players, which occurred due to specific futsal preparatory period. Methods: The work has the character of an empirical research, the main method is observation. A total of 9 players (1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders and 5 forwards) who played for the Bohemians Praha 1905 futsal club, took part in the research. Basic anthropometric parameters (body height, body weight, BMI) were measured. The BIA method (BIA-Tanita MC 980) was used to obtain input and output data for the analysis of changes in body composition parameters. Statistical data processing (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, tables and graphs) performed in Microsoft Excel. Results: The results of our study show that during the specific futsal preparatory period there were changes in most of the body composition parameters. The only parameter that did not change was fat mass, the value of which remained the same even after a specific futsal preparatory period (12.4 kg). We noted the most significant differences in body weight, which decreased on average by 1.4 kg, and in muscle mass,...
Myths in sports nutrition
Seger, Jakub ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Jandová, Tereza (referee)
Title: Myths in nutrition Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to define and analyse the most common myths about nutrition that are commonly encountered on websites, social networks or in popular science literature. I will then seek to confirm or refute these claims by reviewing the available scientific evidence. Methods: Research Keywords: sports nutrition, protein, anabolic window, evening meal, protein before bedtime, effects of creatine, gluten-free diet, fats
Emotion regulation difficulties, alcohol use and alcohol-related consequences among university students
Jandová, Tereza ; Vacek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Nikolai, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis examines the relationship between emotional regulation and alcohol consumption in university students. Alcohol use among this population group cause number of specific negative consequences that published research has found cannot be explained by the intensity of consumption alone. One of the possible predictors contributing to the heterogeneous manifestation of these impacts could be the capacity for emotion regulation. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a summary of relevant theoretical concepts and conclusions of the research published so far. The empirical part of the thesis provides a conceptual replication of the study Alcohol and Alcohol-related Consequences: associations with Emotion Regulation Difficulties (Dvorak et al., 2014), which examines the relationship between difficulties in emotion regulation and the harmful effects of alcohol consumption. Measured constructs are extended by binge drinking, compared to the original study. Study was conducted on a convenience sample of university students (N = 602). Regression analysis revealed that difficulties in emotion regulation were a significant predictor of negative affect manifestation in this study sample (R2 = 0,10, F(1, 599) = 65,06, p<0,001). Other predictors were average alcohol consumption (R2 = 0,30, F(1, 599)...
Development strategy for school maturity in the preparatory year of primary school
JANDOVÁ, Tereza
My bachelor´s thesis is focused on development strategies in the field of school maturity within a preschool year of a primary school seen from the school as well as the parents side. For fulfilling the tasks of this work, methods of a quality research have been used. The theoretical part deals with defining the basic concepts regarding the above mentioned topic of the work, mainly the periods of preschool education, school maturity and weakening of partial functions (respectively social disadvantage) at children with special educational needs in the preschool year of the chosen institution. The practical part was realised by a case method that was satisfied mainly by information based on semi - structured dialogues, decriptive analysis, observation, and material and document studies in the chosen institution.
The value of regeneration in service physical education of selected members of the Czech Army
Kleisl, David ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Jandová, Tereza (referee)
Title: The value of regeneration in the process of physical education of selected members of the Czech Army Objectives: The main aim of this study was to determine the attitude to physical recovery of soldiers of the Honor Guard of the Czech Army. Methods: Quantitative research was conducted by a survey. Collected data was obtained using an electronic online survey which was created on the Google Forms platform. The data collected from 85 active respondents were then analyzed. Results: The data that was obtained by using an electronic online survey indicates, that 90.6% of all respondents use some kind of regeneration treatments. 81.8% of respondents use a combination of sauna and steam, which is the most used regeneration procedure. 41.6% of respondents use regeneration procedures several times a week and 32.5% of respondents use regeneration procedures at least once a week. 51.6% of respondents consider the term regeneration as a complex concept that includes sleep, rest, recovery of the body after physical activity, targeted use of regenerative procedures, energy recovery and an essential component of the physical training process. Keywords: regeneration, professional physical education, Army of the Czech Republic, Honor Guard
Differentiation and crystallization of evolved granitic melts, the Říčany pluton, central Bohemian Massif
Jandová, Tereza ; Dolejš, David (advisor) ; René, Miloš (referee)
Evolved silicic rocks display a variety of igneous textures, which can provide important information on crystallization kinetics and rheology in natural magma chambers. Individual kinetic effects such as diffusion rate, nucleation rate, growth rate and post-solidification modifications are likely to be reflected in the modal and textural appearance of the resulting rock. This work focuses on characterization and interpretation of solidification textures in a 600 m wide and 5 km long body of highly evolved, boron-rich aplites and pegmatites at the southern endocontact of the Říčany granite pluton (Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex). This rock suite is associated with biotite Říčany granite, hosting microgranite and aplite dyke swarm, and it is built up by massive tourmaline aplites, layered aplites with tourmaline-rich or locally garnet-rich bands, pegmatite pockets, pegmatite layers with unidirectional solidification textures (comb layers), megacryst zones (analogous to stockscheider), and late pegmatite dykes discordant to layering. Textural as well as modal variations are usually sharp and observable megascopically as well as on the microscale. All aplites and pegmatites usually contain similar proportions of quartz, albite-rich plagioclase, K-feldspar, various proportions of tourmaline (up to...
