Influence of mass parameters on the vehicle driving dynamics
Dušek, Otakar ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with assessment of weight parameters impact on driving dynamics. History and basic categories of personal vehicles are described in the introductory part. Weight parameters and driving dynamics of personal vehicles are described in the next part. Methodology and results of realized driving tests (braking test, circular test and avoidance maneuver) are presented in the experimental part of this work. Simulation of realized driving tests that was made by simulation software Virtual Crash is devised in the penultimate chapter. Evaluation of results that were found out from realized and simulated driving tests is made in the last chapter. Achieved results are briefly summarized in conclusion.
Manufacture of bells
Dušek, Otakar ; Šenberger, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pernica, Vítězslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis titled „Manufacture of bells” contains basic information about the historical development of bells, acoustic characteristics of the bells and particular processes accompanying their production. There are in detail particular phases of production and necessary equipment described in this work. The text also deals with the materials that are used for bells manufacturing. The analysis of the bell metal is the most discussed issue in this part, since it is the best and most widely used material for these purposes.
Bulk forming technology of cover nut
Dušek, Otakar ; Dohnal, Ivo (referee) ; Forejt, Milan (advisor)
The diploma thesis suggests a producing plan of the cover nut using cold forming technology. The component will be made of the structural steel 11 320 5R. Size of its assumed annual production is 800 000 pieces. The best option was chosen from four suggested production versions. A wire with a diameter of 13.2 mm was designed as a semi-product. The component will be made in four forming operations. Roll forming machine TPM 8 (produced by Šmeral Brno) with a nominal force of 1000 kN was elected for the proposed manufacturing technology. Drawing documentation was elaborated, which includes drawing of the rolling tool assembly and drawing of tools for 3rd operation (backward extrusion). The results of the economic evaluation shows that the production cost of one nut is 1 CZK.
The role of microorganisms and other factors in the process of autoimmune uveitis
Dušek, Otakar ; Heissigerová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Rozsíval, Pavel (referee) ; Krulová, Magdaléna (referee)
The role of microorganisms and other factors in the process of autoimmune uveitis Abstract The aim of this work was to gain new knowledge about the influence and the mechanisms of the effect of microorganisms in the process of autoimmune uveitis. A mouse model of experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU) was used and the influence of oral broad-spectrum antibiotic, i.e. metronidazole, as well as probiotic bacteria Escherichia coli O83:K24:H31 (EcO) nad Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 (EcN) were tested in preventive and therapeutic regimens. The grade of inflammation was assessed clinically in vivo and histologically post mortem. Immunological analysis of lymph nodes and Peyer's patches were performed. Evaluation of the effect of metronidazole proved significant reduction of inflammatory activity in both regimes - intitiation 1 week or 2 weeks before the EAU induction. In case of probiotics, protective effect was proved only in case of live EcN administered 2 weeks before or from the time of EAU induction. Its protective effect was accompanied with decreased interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein (IRBP)-specific T-lymphocyte response in the sentinel lymph nodes of the site of immunization 7 days after the induction of EAU and cervical lymph nodes as soon as there were apparent clinical signs of intraocular...
