Postoje studentů SOŠ k aktuálním environmentálním problémům
Dostálová, Marie
My thesis focuses on current environmental attitudes of secondary medical schools´ students. Its aim is to explore these attitudes through questionnaire surveys. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical one, the former describing environmental education in all the three sections of the school system (including preschool education), and the latter analysing secondary students´ questionnaires. The thesis covers specifics and problems that the environmental education faces within the Czech traditional school system, and it also maps items such as environmental management, legislation, impacts and aspects. Last but not least, the theoretical part investigates the environment, its pollution, its protection and its fundamental problems. Finally, the theoretical part describes environmental attitudes and the behaviour interconnected with them. The practical part deals with the survey itself, using the research method of an online questionnaire, divided into five sections, which as a whole answers the key reasearch question. The practical part is complemented by tips and recommendations for teachers.
Twistor operator in symplectic spin geometry
Dostálová, Marie ; Krýsl, Svatopluk (advisor) ; Doubek, Martin (referee)
The topic of the diploma thesis is symplectic spinor geometry. Its re- search was started by D. Shale, B. Kostant and K. Habermann. We focus our attention to one of the so called symplectic twistor operators introduced by S. Kr'ysl. We investigate the action of this operator on real even dimensio- nal vector spaces considered as symplectic manifold, its invariance properties and regularity. We describe a part of the kernel of the symplectic twistor operator when acting on symplectic spinors on R2. The kernel forms a repre- sentation of the so called metaplectic group (double cover of the symplectic group). 1
Technologické vlastnosti křepelčích vajec
Dostálová, Marie
Technological properties, in other words functional properties, of quail eggs influence the preparation and production of food. The basic functional properties of egg albumen include gel formation, foam formation and suppression of crystallization. Gel formation is important in the production of boiled quail eggs. Foam formation is necessary in the production of confectionery and bakery products. Suppression of crystallization is used especially for confectionery. The functional properties of egg yolk can include the emulsion formation and antioxidant action of the phospholipids of yolk. Emulsion formation is important in mayonnaise production. For certain technological properties, there are defined criteria, which describes applicability and quality of eggs. Foam ex-pansion index, foam stability index, foam density and toughness are obtained during the foam formation of quail fresh or dried albumen. Emulsion stability index and emulsion activity index are obtained during formation of emulsion from quail fresh or dried yolk. Functional properties are influence affected for example by solubility of protein, water-holding and oil-holding capacity.
The figure of Judas Iscariot through the prism of the media and the public in the 21st century in the context of state leaving exam and contemporary pop culture
Dostálová, Marie ; Čeňková, Jana (advisor) ; Novotný, David Jan (referee)
The following thesis, The Judas Iscariot figure, as seen by media and the public, in the 21st century in the context of the state graduation exam and contemporary pop culture, deals with the biblical figure who has betrayed Jesus Christ. The apostle, whose name has become a synonym for betrayal, was mentioned in one of the questions of the didactical test regarding Czech language and literature in the state graduation exam in the Czech Republic in 2015. The pupils were supposed to recognize Judas with help of his cognomen and other hints. Many students have complained about this task, saying that it was too difficult, while others have claimed that the question was not related to the subject. The complaint became an issue frequented in all the significant media and heavily discussed in society. The first chapters of the thesis describe the official requirements for the state graduation exam and the study plans for secondary schools, where the Bible is listed. The following chapters highlight and discuss the media coverage of the affair in the printed and online media, as well as in the radio and TV stations. Additionally, the student's opinions about the issue are mentioned, together with the jokes related to the topic, reactions of the experts and internet users commenting the topic under the internet...
American bombimg of prague in february 1945 on pages of daily period newspapers
Dostálová, Marie ; Bednařík, Petr (advisor) ; Lysoňková, Lenka (referee)
This bachelor thesis "The American bombing of Prague in February 1945 as covered by period newspapers" deals with media image of the Allies of World War II (Americans and Brits) and coverage of the bombing in the legally published Czech dailies. United States Army Air Forces carried out the air raids over Prague on 14th February and according to American pilots it was the result of a navigation mistake: at the same time, a massive bombing of Dresden was under way, 120 km north from Prague. The thesis describes and analyses newspaper articles published from February 1, 1945, to March 14, 1945, in following state periodicals: Lidové noviny, Národní práce, Večerní České slovo, and Venkov. The then press was subjected to severe censorship, which shaped whole media agenda. In order to control what comes out, Nazi officials appointed censors to editorial staffs. The thesis depicts the process, in which the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia was established, censorship practices, historical context, and profiles of studied periodicals. Its main part consists of descriptions of selected articles about the Allies from before the air raids, all texts about the bombings from the following two weeks, and relevant mentions from the last researched phase, i.e. March 1 - 14, 1945. The study's goal is to provide a...
