Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Company and Proposals for Improvements

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the TISK CENTRUM s.r.o. company between the years 2015 and 2019 and proposals for its improvement. The work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with theory, defines concepts and indicators of financial analysis. The second part focuses on practical employment of the indicators listed in the first part. It also uses the results to compare the company, that is being evaluated, with their competition. The third part of the work presents proposals for improving the financial situation of the company.

Marketing Strategy of the Selected Company

Master’s thesis is focused on the marketing strategy of Maybe coffee & bistro and subsequent development of proposals for its improvement. Thesis composes of three parts. The first part describes the theoretical background of the work in the field of marketing and serves to better understand the subject. In the second part of the thesis, the current state of the café is analysed in relation to the theoretical background and its marketing strategies. The third part presents suggestions for its improvement, which are based on the findings of the analyses as well as the questionnaire survey.

Development of material for agar-based ultrasound brain phantom

The aim is to formulate and optimize the agar hydrogel preparation procedure, evaluate its acoustic properties and water loss during storage. A dependence was found between the amount of water evaporated during storage (4 weeks at 37 řC) and the glycerol content, which slows down the water loss from the samples in direct proportion. Based on the results, an agar gel (AG) formulation with 1% agar and 60% glycerol was selected for the acoustic properties measurements. During this experiment the microbial stability of AG was confirmed. The results of acoustic parameters measurements were evaluated, namely, speed of the ultrasound, attenuation coefficient and echogenicity of the samples as a function of content of scattering particles Al2O3 and SiC. Analýza finanční výkonnosti společnosti Natura DK, a.s.

Diplomová práce hodnotí finanční výkonnost společnosti Natura DK,a.s. v letech 2002 až 2005. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány metody finanční analýzy, které jsou použity v praktické části samotného hodnocení společnosti. V praktické části se seznámíme se společností samotnou, analýzou abslutních ukazatelů, analýzou rozdílových ukazatelů a analýzou poměrových ukazatelů. V práci jsou dále vypočteny bonitní a bankrotní modely pro společnost Natura DK,a.s., systém ukazatelů Du Pont, ekonomický normál, ekonomická přidaná hodnota a model INFA.
