Child as a victim of sexual crimes Abstract Child sexual abuse is a very serious issue on a global scale. Although child abuse is gradually being de-tabooed and has more space, there is still a significant amount of people in our society who believe that this problem should be looked at as a personal matter of each family to be resolved on their own. Precisely this opinion is the factor that does not allow children to reach the support they so desperately require and reduces the likelihood of detecting the criminal activity and punishing the perpetrator. It is therefore essential for appropriate education to be offered to our population containing enlightenment on the issue of sexual abuse of children and the specific features that are typical for this type of criminality. Children are much more vulnerable as victims than adults. It emerges from their physical and psychological prerequisites. They are smaller and weaker. Their psyche is not yet fully developed, so they are more impressionable, trusting, submissive and open. At the same time, they do not yet possess fully developed complex thinking to enable them to thoughtfully gauge. And their weakest point is their utter dependence on adults. Criminal profiling Abstract The purpose of my thesis is to analyse criminal profiling, one of the disciplines of forensic psychology used by law enforcement authorities in their effort to capture offender of a crime. The reason for my research is my interest in the criminal law in general, mainly in the psychological aspects of work of law enforcement authorities with individual offenders. The thesis is composed of three chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of criminal profiling. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology of criminal profiling and the essence of criminal profiling in general. The chapter is subdivided into five parts, which deals with the term of criminal profiling, its development, particular delicts suitable for profiling, the manner of creating a profile and its efficiency in the criminal proceedings in Czech Republic. Chapter Two examines the best known approaches to criminal profiling, its methods and typology. The chapter consists of five parts. Part One focuses on the different approaches to criminal profiling. Hate crimes My final thesis is dealing with the phenomenon of hate crimes. The purpose of the study is not only to provide a general theoretical knowledge of biased - motivated incidents, but also to present real criminal cases and show on them how dangerous pure hate can be. The thesis is composed of three main chapters, each of them concerns aspects of hate crimes. Chapter One is more or less introductory. The chapter is subdivided into three parts. The first of them describes and interprets the basic term "hate crime" from the view of various authors. Moreover, it also conciders the necessary elemens (like prejudice against sex, race, skin colour, nationallity, ethnicity and religion), which should be involved in the hate crime definition. The second part deals with the possible causes of hate crimes - such as migration, globalization, economic problems and mainly stereotypes and preoccupation. The last part of the Chapter One examines relevant Czech legislation - compares and contrasts the previous and the current Czech Criminal Code. Chapter Two consists of seven parts. The use of psychology in crime investigation with a focus on criminal profiling psychology of interrogation. Abstract This paper deals with some forms of usage of forensic psychology in investigative practice. Forensic psychology is subfield of psychology that deals with its usage in law practice. This paper describes historical milestones in this field. Furthermore, this thesis describes legal institutes that enable the use of forensic psychology in practice. After this introduction, the remaining part of the thesis is dedicated to selected forms of practical usage of forensic psychology. Specifically, these forms are criminal profiling and psychology of interviewing. Criminal profiling is a newer method that, based on the evidence found, creates presume profile of the offender. This profile usually contains data on the offender's age, gender, possible employment, and social integration of the offender. The profile can also focus on geographical distribution of crime scenes and based on them the profile can determine the area of probable home residence of the offender. Both these variants are described in section dedicated to criminal profiling. Cultural criminology and narrative analysis

The theme of this thesis is Cultural criminology and narrative analysis. The work is divided into four chapters that focus on the subject of cultural criminology, its methods and benefits. The first chapter introduces cultural criminology, its main concepts, influences and development. The second chapter presents selected methods of cultural criminology in detail, namely ethnography and media analysis. The third section describes in detail the narrative analysis and its benefits. In addition, this chapter provides an example of using this method of narrative analysis in a document created by Anders Breivik before his terroristic attacks in Oslo, Norway in July 2011. Finally, the third chapter introduces the narrative criminology, criminological approach to the study of crime that is emerging as an independent forensic industry. The fourth chapter summarizes the benefits and drawbacks of cultural criminology and its possibilities as a criminological movement.
