Zapletalová, Martina ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis was aimed at verifying the accuracy of the evaluation of upsetting test. Experiments were carried out on cylindrical samples of steel 16 231.3 with solid lubricant Delta 144. Comparing the output values that were recorded classical way through the liner recorder and amplifier at press CZR 600. The Results have been processed using measuring module and program made by company Dewesoft. Last trio of samples was tested by upsetting test in a universal machine ZD 40, which was connected to the control unit and the data was processed by M-TEST program. From the plotted working curves and curves deformational resistance can be concluded that a liner recorder and amplifier can be effectively innovated by measuring module and by program.

Study of the deformation of the circular holes in relation to their spacing from the bend in the two-point bending of the sheet on the bend press
Piterka, Miloslav ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The thesis is focused on studying deformation of the circular holes in the limit bending space, depending on the material type, distance from bend, the thickness of material and diameter of hole. After analyzing all necessary technological parameters was bending technology on press brake selected. An experiment for which the tools and press brake Trumpf TruBend 5170 were selected was designed and performed. Samples for the study were designed, bent and measured. The charts have been prepared for practical use in the company from measuring. In addition, simulations were processed in Ansys program and graphs were compiled to compare the main effect of the hole deformations. Two methods were chosen to prevent deformation in limit bending space. Under-cutting method by laser and method of using special Rollbend tool. In the end, economic studies for the Rollbend tool were developed instead of under-cutting hole with grinding.
Manufacturing of tubes by rolling
Šimůnek, Petr ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Thesis is focused on the analysis of various rolling methods used for production of seamless tubes. It is a literary study, which describes both methods for the production hollow thick-walled cylindrical billets, as well as methods for their processing into finished tubes. Comparison between them and practical use is also described. In the thesis are analysed the methods of production of hollow semifinished products by push rolling and cross rolling, e.g. Mannesmann and Stiefel methods. For the seamless tubes finishing various rolling methods are described, such as pilger mill, mandrel mill, plug mill, Assel mill, Diescher mill or pushing mill.
Production of ceiling light
Kvasnička, Jan ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The manufactured component is the inner part of the ceiling lamp. It is made of 17 240 steel in a series of 100 000 pieces/year. A combination of tool cutting and deep drawing without thinning the wall was chosen from the possible production technologies. The diameter of the blank from which the resulting shape is pulled out was calculated to be 400 mm. It will be cut from an unwound coil of sheet metal, the inner diameter of which is 400 mm and the outer 1000 mm. A drawing tool was designed for forming and it's functional parts were made of 19 436 steel. The tool is placed in hydraulic three-acting press PO 160/100 from company Dieffenbacher. The press is part of a line which includes an unwinding device, a straightening device and a cutting tool.
Geometry Optimization of the Stamped Part
Faltýnek, František ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The project presents a solution of geometrical influence on the thinning of the stamped part with thickness 0.3 mm. It can be made from stainless steel X2CrCuTi18, X5CrNi18-10 or X5CrNi18-10 with additional heat treatment. Based on the literature review the technology of drawing was described and a theoretical analysis of shallow drawing was carried out. Material models for numerical simulation and parametric model of punch and die were created. The analysis of thinning dependence on the geometry of the dimple was performed using FEM analysis in ANSYS software. The smallest thinning of value 9.2% was found for X5CrNi18-10 steel with additional annealing and for the upper limit of the dimple radius values, which was set to 1 mm.
System for evaluation of upsetting test
Janečka, Dominik ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the proposal of measurement system for evaluating upsetting test. The variables for evaluating the test are obtained by using sensors of measuring devices. The necessary magnitudes are force, track and temperature. For this purpose they were used sensors HBM R6C, HBM W50 and thermocouple type K. The sensor signals are amplified by measuring modules Dewetron and transferred to a PC by measuring card NI USB-6009. There are further processed by evaluation program DEWESoft 6.5. In a final part are performed a verification measurements to assess system function.
Production concept of adjustable holder
Slavík, Tomáš ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The discussed issue was the production of the body of the adjustable universal holder for license plates, blinkers, and reflectors for Yamaha motorcycles. The material chosen for the production of the component was DC01 steel with a thickness of 3 mm and the size of the series is 120 000 pieces per year. After evaluating considered production variants, it was decided that the part will be made in compound tool that combine shearing and bending operations. The part will be produced by four shearing operations, three inter-shearing operations, one bending operation and by shearing the finished component from the sheet metal strip. Sheet metal coil was selected as the semi-finished product, with a material usage rate of 51,46%. Based on technological calculations, it was decided that the eccentric press DM400 from Formetal will be used for production. The tool design with a spring floating guide was chosen and his parameters were derived from previous calculations and the selected production process.
Manufacturing of the Bottle Cap Opener
Šimka, Radek ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of a suitable production technology for a bottle cap opener, which is made of stainless steel X12CTNi18–8. The production series is set at 250,000 pieces a year. A sheet roll with a thickness of 1 mm is selected as a semi-finished product. After evaluating the possible production variants, the most suitable technology is the production in a combined process tool. The part is made in five steps, involving shearing and bending technology. A literature review is prepared for the chosen production technologies and then the necessary technological, construction and control calculations are done. The press PE45M from Vaptech company is chosen as the facing machine for the production of the opener, which keeps all the necessary requirements. The insert of the sheet roll into the machine is going to be done with the help of unwinding, straightening and feeding devices.
Manufacturing of the Steering Rod
Velcer, Miroslav ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of the lower control arm of the rear axle made of aluminium alloy EN AW-6082 T6 for the Porsche 996. The technology of die forging on screw presses is chosen for the production, which is the focus of the theoretical part of the thesis. At the beginning of the practical part, the manufacturability of the part is evaluated and the basic process parameters such as technological allowances, machining allowances, limit deviations and the shape of the forging groove are determined according to the standards. With the help of a set of cross-sections, the shape of the ideal forging is constructed. Based on it, the dimensions of the forging produced by cross wedge rolling are determined. The selection of cutting and heating of the blank is related to this issue. Based on the determined parameters, a forging tool is constructed. Furthermore, the calculation of the forging force according to Tomlenov is performed, on the basis of which the screw press is selected. To verify the functionality of the forging tool with the given forging die and to analyze the process including the force parameters, numerical simulation is carried out in Simufact Forming software using finite element method.
