Synergy of language and visual imagination

This thesis takes the form of qualitative action probe and examines specific aspects of the work of selected pupils with SLD in interdisciplinary linking of art and language education with an emphasis on reaching goals evenly in both areas. The results of the research, which was carried out by observation and semi-structured interviews with pupils and teachers, are analyzed and crystallize into concrete suggestions of streamlining individual aspects of this method for even greater efficiency of separate steps in learning new skills to students with learning disabilities. In the theoretical part I introduce educational methods of synergic development of visual and linguistic imagination. It is primarily CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), which represents an innovative tendencies in integrating English and another non-language subject (in this case Art) and a multisensory approach. I also specify the fundamental principles of the educational process in an interdisciplinary connections of art and English for pupils with learning disabilities, such as Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, respecting individual learning styles of students, focusing on multimodal teaching principles and methods applicable to Hejný model of inclusive education of Art and English. Malinovská, Z.: Nature as an inspiration of creative explorations at nursery school. [The assignment] Prague 2014, Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art, p. 113 The assignment has a special reconnaissance probes . Its aim is to help to the improvement of teaching practice of kindergarten teachers in preschool education . The survey is designed to give an update on implementation and long-term stereotypes about completed art activities for which the main inspiration is the nature. The expected outcome will be proposals of art programs for preschool children, which will be based on results of the research . I tried to find suggestions for processing proposals at the history and present of Fine Arts. The history of art was conceived as a bridge between theory and practice with examples of inspiration for nursery school teachers from every period. The focus of the assignment is the implementation and processing of proposals of art programs, their experimental verification and subsequent didactic reflection. Specifically, it could be a guide in planning of teaching of art design education in the form of integrated learning units, since it contains methods and activities which are needed to develop a creativity and expression. This thesis uses a potential of other teaching subjects which develop creativity and expressiveness-dramatic education, musical and literary education. Through this thesis the author would like to help both teachers-beginners as well as educators with a longer teaching practice, who would like to modify their up-to-now method of teaching of Art education.
Czech Modern and Contemporary Art in Primary Education

The topic of this work is Modern and Contemporary Art and its use at primary schools. Curricular documents, especially references to modern and contemporary art are described in the first part. The subsequent part presents artists through the generations and art trends gathered under one concrete concept or idea (ex. Art for public) . The entire thesis focuses on the interdisciplinary teaching approach to education which takes advantage of art potential. This approach not only uses art as a tool for a students' success but also tries to motivate the child to pursue further studies in the field of art. The final art project presented here makes use of ICT technologies, new media, reading and writing, mathematics and more in order to intensify the exploration of art.

Travel on water

v anglickém jazyce : The Bachelor Thesis is designed as a one-year visual art project for students in the Art Elementary School between the ages six and thirteen. The theme "Journey on water" portrays a piece of wood from Šumava, floating on the river Vltava in times when wooden rafts were employed. The objective of the project is to reinforce in students a positive attitude to nature and to spark an interest in art and cultural heritage. The structure of the project is based on a story following the piece of wood in different seasons from the river"s source to the Prague"s historical center. It continues as a subsequent line of open creative visual art projects illustrating the wood"s journey to the sea and to the Eastern Island. The entire project culminates in a visit of an exhibition of Jakub Schikaneder and as a collective installation in one of the branches of the Municipal Library "Na Pohorelci" in Prague 1.
