System for Supporting Agile Project Management
Liška, Radek ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This project is devoted to using of agile methodologies in the process of the web development. First, the most widely used traditional and agile methodologies of the software development are theoretically examined. Based on the identified procedures are chosen those that solve the biggest problems associated with the project management of the web development. From the findings is given a rough design of the system with usage of agile procedures. In the final part of the project is mentioned design implemented as the system prototype.
Improvements of JPEG Format
Liška, Radek ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with lossy still image compression algorithms used in JPEG standard. All compression steps according to this standard are described in detail. My objective is to introduce and implement improvements that would result in increased compression ratio while adhering to the structure of the standard. At the end of the thesis, the implementation is compared to standard implementation and additional possible improvements are proposed.
Robot path planning by means of reinforcement learning
Veselovský, Michal ; Liška, Radovan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with path planning for autonomous robot in enviromenment with static obstacles. Thesis includes analysis of different approaches for path planning, description of methods utilizing reinforcement learning and experiments with them. Main outputs of thesis are working algorithms for path planning based on Q-learning, verifying their functionality and mutual comparison.
Small Control Sysrtem with Ethernet Bus
Liška, Radovan ; Kaňa, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis is concerned by complex proposal and by solution of PCB (printed circuit board) for small control system with ethernet connection. This thesis is solving proposal for supply circuit issue, which means galvanic separation circuit, regulation and stabilization of voltage. For communication sensing units or other units with automatic controller is used industrial communication with RS232 and RS485 interface. Automatic controller gain information from feed system by analog and digital inputs. Activator is controlled by analog or digital outputs from microcontroller.
The Project of Production System in Selected Manufacturing Segment
Liška, Radomír ; Tesař, Rostidlav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is focused on the production system design, analysis material flow of the production system in the company ABC Ltd. Part of it is detection of critical places and proposal for their elimination. The theoretical part contains the basic concepts of production. In the analytical part, there is described a current situation in selected manufacturing segment of company. In the final part, the solutions are designed to help improve the business.
ZigBee in Building Automation
Liška, Radovan ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
Improvement of wireless technologies is a natural consequence of the progress in the field of science and technology. Usage of wireless networks based on the ZigBee technology, which are capable of indepent operation in present form, providing detailed information about physical environment and process management, brings many advantages. On the other hand, there is a serious issue about commissioning. This Master's Thesis deals with introduction of ZigBee technology and its usage, describes issue about device commissioning and types of commissioning. The main part of the Thesis is my own proposal for solving this problem, proposing algorithm using the Bitcloud stack for Coordinator, End Device and Router and its demonstration at the application. Along with analysing the application there are described possible solutions for creating a new network, adding a new node into the existing network and changing a node. The result is a graphical application and firmware for each device. The result of succesfully associated devices in network is supported by the measurement.
Measuring and Visualizing Distance Sensor Data in Real-Time via Arduino and Xbee wireless communication to Matlab
Zapletal, Marek ; Liška, Radovan (referee) ; Karakhalil, Mourad (advisor)
Work describes making of measuring system consisting of ultrasonic sensor, programmable board Arduino, where the wireless communication is provided by Xbee modules. Theoretical part depicts the single components including the programmes for making the code necessary for proper function of the system. On the other hand, realization and creation of programmes is the centre of practical part of the work. System was physically made and the obtained data from distance sensor were in real-time transferred and depicted in MATLAB programme, where the data are filtered and the graphs of elapsed time- distance are drawn. This work is one of the first possible steps in making intelligent devices or robots from the general aspect of mapping, navigating and orienting in a surrounding area.
Manipulator control via microcontroller
Šíl, Petr ; Liška, Radovan (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the control of the manipulator by microcontroller. It is a scale model of the manipulator, which will demonstrate the functions of a similar manipulator in the real time practice. The design of the manipulator consists of two parts, the mechanical part and driving part. In each section were chosen suitable parts to fulfil requirements of desired functions. The functionality, simplicity of manufacturing of all sections, the price and simplicity of control were the main criteria during the design of the manipulator. The system utilised ATmega 128 and development environment AVR Studio 4 to control and test microcontroller ATmega128.
Numerical simulations of jet formation in laser-target interactions
Váchal, P. ; Liska, R. ; Kuchařík, M. ; Limpouch, J. ; Kmetík, Viliam
Cylindrical version of our two-dimensional Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian code PALE is applied for numerical studies of dense plasma jet formation from laser targets. Well collimated plasma expansion from a massive solid target irradiated by a single laser beam with a special profile is investigated. Particular interaction beam profile with intensity minimum in the beam centre is found to be responsible for jet formation during plasma expansion. A deep concave interaction beam profile at PALS is obtained from our simulation of the laser propagation in the amplifying chain and in the focusing system.
