Design of PV plant with accumulation for commercial building
Jörka, Lukáš ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This Master´s Thesis deals with the design of photovoltaic power plant with accumulation for commercial building in the city of Holešov. The first part of the thesis describes the requirements for connection and operation of power supplies with inverters according to Annex 4 of the PPDS and the European Commission directive RfG. The second part of the work focuses on the theory of photovoltaic systems, while their basic concepts are introduced, the individual components of photovoltaic systems are described, and eventually, the issue of inverters dimensioning is discussed in more depth. In the practical part of this thesis, the design of photovoltaic power plant with accumulation using the PVSOL program is performed. Within the design, components for PV plant with accumulation are selected, the project documentation of PV plant for building permit is prepared and the energy-economic analysis of the proposed solution is performed.
Methodology and data evaluation of conformance tests of A1 and A2 power generating modules
Bláha, Michal ; Drápela, Jiří (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The introductory part of the diploma thesis contains basic knowledge of the issue of Power Generating Module (particularly local) and a description of individual categories according to the EU Commission Regulation 2016/631, which are connected to the electricity system in the Czechia. In connection with this classification and the assignment of this work, the individual rules for connecting and operating Power Generating Module of categories A1 and A2 are further described. The work also deals with verifying the compliance and conformity of production modules with applicable legislation. The principles of verification of production units follow the newly proposed standard EN 50 549-10. The benefit of the work lies mainly in the preparation for the creation of a certified workplace, which will deal with custom measurement of production units. This preparation is based not only on the created test manual, but on two other important parts, such as the creation of evaluation scripts and the output protocol. The scripts will be used to process the measured data for individual tests and will provide a suitable graphical output of the unit, which will be placed in the output protocol. This protocol will thus be a comprehensive official measurement output of the tested unit.
Rituals as Elements of Control in Regular Marijuana use
Krechlerová, Alžběta ; Morávek, Jan (advisor) ; Oravcová, Anna (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of controlled drugs. It focuses on marijuana users and their rituals, which present an element of control. The theoretical part summarizes basic information about marijuana including the nature, effects and risks associated with its use. There is also explained the theory of controlled drug use, major works and authors who have studied this phenomenon and the meaning of the word "ritual". The next section describes my qualitative research and basic research questions. The last section is devoted to the analysis of semi-structured interviews. The analysis explains areas of life that affect the respondents' control, the differences between the ways of use marijuana and a description of the customs and rituals of its users. It also discusses the meanings that users attach to the drug, which in turn influence their rituals. It also provides knowledge about the importance of structure of living.
Influence of the laser mixture composition on the existence of the dinitrogen bands
Morávek, Matěj Jan ; Hrachová, Věra (advisor) ; Kudrna, Pavel (referee)
This project studies mixtures of helium, nitrogen and carbon dioxid, widely used in so called CO2 lasers. These lasers are classified as discharge lasers. In the case of low output lasers is often used a DC glow discharge. We can find bands so called first and second positive systems of a dinitrogen molecule in an emission spectrum of the glow discharge. It is possible to deduce energetic balance and a vibrational temperature from these bands. The vibrational temperature was studied by the vibrational spectroscopy of dinitrogen molecule for various discharge currents and pressures and for various distribution of nitrogen in the mixture (we will start with an industrial mixture LASAL 63).
Contact centre as an unwelcome neighbour
Reiter, Erik ; Nekola, Martin (advisor) ; Morávek, Jan (referee)
Thesis "Contact centre as an unwelcome neighbor"deals with a case of the Sananim's contact centre, that was obliged to agree with the relocation of their workplace from the area. Thesis is confronting the neighbor's resistance the centre is facing with the NIMBY concept, which is demonstrated by the analysis of interviews. Situation of the contact centre of Sananim o.s. is compared with the contact centre Progressive's Stage 5. Sources of the resistance are distinguished within the analysis by use of NIMBY typology. The most significant source of the resistance is identified to be the neighbor's resistance. Thesis describes the situation, which was caused by the resistance on different levels within typology and is also suggesting possible solutions to the resulting situation. In the final sections of the thesis, author recommends to improve the cooperation and communication between Sananim's contact centre and other contact centres in the area, adjacent borough and most importantly with their oponents. Author later recommends the realization of more extensive and deeper research, and offers several research questions and hypotheses for occasion of its realization.
Framing of New Psychoactive substances in British Drug Policy Discourse
Novotná, Lucie ; Nekola, Martin (advisor) ; Morávek, Jan (referee)
This thesis, New Psychoactive Substances in British Drug Policy Discourse addresses new psychoactive substances (NPS) in drug policy discourse in Great Britain between 2000-2014. It focuses on the identification of individual frames and aims to understand the different perspectives NPS can be framed in The theoretical framework of this thesis is based on the idea of social constructivism and Frame Theory. On this basis, the thesis identifies individual sponsors, the general characteristics of the problem, the injured party, the public policy implications and the value base. It identifies four frames which are present in the discourse. The first, called Fragmented, does not perceive NPS as a comprehensive problem, but as individually occurring substances. The second frame the Prohibitionist wishes to tackle the issue of NPS using new tools of prohibition. The third one, the Regulatory frame is strongly polarized towards the previous frame and wants to solve the NPS issue by creating a legally regulated market for psychoactive substances. The last, Wicked frame, perceives NPS as an unstructured problem, therefore it cannot be solved by one measure. This frame favors an expert debate and evidence in order to find the optimal solution. The thesis puts the issue into context and focuses on NPS...
Study of plasma in the mixtures with molecular gas at wide pressure range
Morávek, Matěj Jan ; Hrachová, Věra (advisor) ; Mazánková, Věra (referee) ; Pavlík, Jaroslav (referee)
Study of plasma in the mixtures with molecular gas at wide pressure range Matěj Jan Morávek Abstract: The positive column of DC glow discharge sustained in oxygen and oxygen-nitrogen mixtures has been studied in two discharge tubes of the same shape made from different materials (Silica and Pyrex glass) for total pressures 650 - 2000 Pa and discharge currents up to 40 mA. Various parameters of the discharge - axial electric field strength, concentration of electrons and emission spectra - were studied with emphasis placed on transition region between low- and high-gradient form of the positive column. We have focused on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the differences in emission spectra for both particular forms and the transitional region between them. The impact of 1 % admixture of nitrogen was also studied.
