Radar Altimeter for Ultralight Aircraft
Absolon, Marek ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
The main topic of this paper is a radar ranging for use in an aircraft altitude measurement. This should help beginner pilots in practicing landing and take off.   To achieve this aim, we chose to use continuous-wave radars with frequency modulation (FMCW). Our solution is based on linear frequency modulation method using triangular modulation pattern.   During the testing, it was found out, that radars with 24 GHz bandwidth have a range resolution from 1 meter (depending on modulation depth) to 13 metres. This range is sufficient for usage in training of takeoffs and landings, which is the real purpose of this paper. Another good finding is, that during takeoff and landing, there is minimal occurrence of doppler frequencies.   Final algorithm works on principle of two currently processed spectrums, which are substracted. Afterwards, found peaks are validated on current spectrum.
Parametric Geometry Sketch Tool
Čižmarik, Roman ; Klepárník, Petr (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement parametric geometry sketchtool. The solution to this problem consists of two parts, to create a library of base dynamic geometry functions and GUI. Functionality of the created library will be demonstrated by two user interfaces, each using the library in different way. Using the resulting library and toolkit Qt allows to quickly and easily create new geometric sketchtools.
Strategy for Game Systems
Švestka, Marek ; Tóth, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis resolves the artificial intelligence representation in computer games. The goal was to find it's suitable interpretation methods. The issue was solved with "map"implementation, which is the n-dimension matrix holding the information about current game state for the concrete player. There were various types of these matrixes used in this thesis. Furthermore was designed a way to evolve computer opponents during the gameplay and created an algorithm, that gives the idea of the space in which it is located. Benefit from this thesis is a solution that makes artificial adversary close to human gameplay behavior. The outcome could also be used in simulators for military battles in real world.
Evaluation of Object Detection in Image
Černošek, Bedřich ; Behúň, Kamil (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor's thesis was to propose the evaluation method of object detection. Result of this work was to create a program which performs the evaluation of object detection on suitable data sample and intuitively displays result to user. The task was to propose suitable experiments and dataset for proving correctness of evaluation. Part of this work was to find optimal parameters for face detection and optimal photo preprocessing before the face detection.
System for Import of Photos
Pučálka, Martin ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is design and implementation of stand-alone program for import of photos. Program can find already imported photos in computer and skip them during next import. Searching for identic photos is based on comparing metadata. Thanks to this way of comparasion, aplication doesn't need to load and compare image data and searching can be faster. Implemented were also functions for separating, renaming and adding metatada to photos.
Object Detection and Recognition in Image
Muzikářová, Michaela ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design and implementation of client-server application for object recognition with the use of existing mobile application. Theoretical part describes the differences between human and computer vision, followed by information about object detection and recognition with selected methods. The next section provides a detailed overview of artificial neural networks, which were used for this work, with their qualities for object recognition. Following part examines selected mobile applications for object recognition, followed by existing frameworks and libraries with focus on artificial neural networks. Among these, Caffe Framework was selected for the work. The next section illustrates the progress of design and implementation and describes the system, along with experiments and dataset used to prove its functionality.
Software for Text Corrections
Kadlčíková, Hana ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to develop a user-friendly application designed especially for writing proofreading comments in a similar way it is done on paper. The final result is an application offering, besides others, proofreading marks in a form of rubber stamps. All the comments are saved in a separate file instead of the original document. This solution enables the user to create any proofreading comments quick and easy without long learning of how to use the application. It was proved via testing that all of that was accomplished. The application was also well received by the users. The main benefit of this work is an easy interface which allows users to write proofreading comments using proofreading marks.
Applications of Mobile Device in Ultramicro Aircraft/Helicopter
Žůrek, Daniel ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of embedded measuring device for ultralight aircraft/ helicopters and implementation of application for mobile phone. The aim is to create a system that can determine the duration of the flight. The paper describes the speed sensing methods, wireless communication, hardware implementation of the measuring device and creation of the necessary software to view data.
Script Language for Image Processing
Crlík, Radek ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with capabilities of scripting languages and their types. Specifically with design of one such language suitable for image processing. The goal was to create a language small enough, but easy to use. One of the requirement was to utilize OpenCV library, for which the resulting code would be as short as possible. First part deals with descriptions of scripting languages, their main philosophy and options of language processing by the computer. Second part contains description of the designed language. Last part documents achieved goals and possible ways how to extend the language even further.
Flight Timer in Ultramicro Aircraft/Helicopter
Široký, Adam ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of embedded system for ultra light airplanes and helicopters. The aim is to design a system which would allow to measure and record the length of individual flights. It is therefore an onboard electronic diary which should facilitate and streamline the administration associated with sport aircraft operation. The base of the system is created on microcontroller of the MSP430 family by Texas Instruments. A reader will be offered the used hardware, the system design, the way of function and the possibility of using of the suggested system.
