The thesis also presents the contents of Jesus' Mountain speech as the Greater Charter of Christian morality that is closely connected with the Lord's Prayer. Within the Lord's Prayer the thesis focuses on spirituality, specifically Christian spirituality and prayer itself, and describes in detail what prayer is. Furthermore, the main part of the thesis focuses on the interpretation of the Lord's Prayer itself and understanding of the individual requests. As a prayer of general liberation that starts with the meeting of the living God and binds oneself to committed behavior in the sense of love and justice; as a prayer of human necessities of life in which a God's issue is not incomprehensible for a human and a human issue is not indifferent for the God. The final part of the thesis seeks to describe and emphasize individual connections of the Lord's Prayer with theological ethics, Christian morality and Christian spirituality. Smejkal, Jan ; Dočkal, Jan (advisor) ; Heryán, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis deals with satanism in metal music. First the theme of satanism is decribed, along with its ideology, typology and then its history from the Middle Ages through Aleister Crowley to Anton Szandor LaVey, the main figure of modern satanism. It also deals briefly with satanic symbolism, like pentagram, baphomet or inverted cross. The second part deals with metal music, its features, history and image. Satanism appears mostly in black metal, that is why a whole part is dedicated to it. Some Czech black metal groups are also introduced in this chapter. In the last part the results of questionnaires about the influence of satanism on metal music are processed. The respondents were members of Czech and Slovak metal subculture. The aim was to find out how these listeners of metal music perceive the influence of satanism on the metal scene, whether they take its features only as an entertainment or as a serious thing and whether a personal belief has any influence on music preferences.

Žilková, Miriam ; Milfait, René (advisor) ; Heryán, Ladislav (referee)
This bachelor's dissertation "Stimuli of the biblical conception of faith, hope and love for social work practice with seniors suffering dementia" deals with the issue presented in the title. The author endavours to point out the overlap between theological ethics and social work and the irreplaceability of the triad of faith, hope and love in high-standard social work with this target group. First the biblical view of faith, hope and love is presented as a spiritual path between God and man. A presentation is then made of social work in which faith, hope and love can be observed, while the biblical conception of man and his dignity is also of importance, as are the sources and motivation behind the social worker and a pastoral approach to social work. In conclusion the entire issue of the elderly suffering dementia is set out. High-standard social work involving faith, hope and love helps these people to the maximum possible extent to achive a dignified experience of this far from easy stage in their life.
Woman from the view of the Old and New Testament
Hlaváčková, Kateřina ; Heryán, Ladislav (advisor) ; Jančařík, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis is a survey of the social and religious status of the woman in the times written about in the Old and New Testaments. It is a description of everyday life customs, traditions, regulations and habits of women in that time. I compare the Old Testament perception of the woman and how it changed in the years later. I am trying to describe revolutionary ideas and life of Jesus Christ in comparison to one of his follower Paul of Tars. The theses is divided into separate chapters and parts. I have drawn on many commentaries and passages which I have made use of for the presentation. I have also exploited some resources on the Internet. My thesis supervisor helped me to adjust and tune it all up. While looking for ideas and topics, I have found out that there has been a lot written on the given theme. Nevertheless, it is interesting to find answers to many of my questions. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
