Representation of women in management (gender inequality)

The bachelor thesis is devoted to contemporary problems connected with the position of women in management positions and gender inequalities between men and women. Its aim is to clarify the current situation of women in the labour market through their qualitative research and professional statistics, their attitudes, views and experience with mobility in career development, as well as the impact of managerial careers on family life. In the theoretical part is generally characterized management, manager, related skills, woman as a manager, barriers related to her enforcement in management, the influence of the family and the situation on the labour market in the Czech Republic. The analytical part of the bachelor thesis contains statistical data and my own quality research, data processing and summary of research results and recommendations for practice. The method used to collect data is a semi-structured interview.
Educational system in selected company

Bachelors thesis deals with educational system of financial consulting company. The main goal of bachelors thesis is to describe established educational system, do analysis of various parts of this system and design otpimalization plan based on this analysis. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part is theoretical and explains the basic concepts of systematic business education and its particular phases such as identifying needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of education. Second part of thesis is focused on analyses of the educational system of the company. Particular phases of the educational system are analysed and based on this analyses weaknesses of the system are described, following the proposal of the optimalization of the system.

The aim of the Master Thesis is to describe how to build Employer Brand a company. It is based on the description of Employer Branding project of a particular company and the evaluation its process. The thesis is a case study and consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on trends and changes in leadership approach, definition of Employer Branding and HR Marketing. The practical part deals with the brand building process itself, describes the outputs of the project and evaluates the project. The final chapter is devoted to the general applicability of the Employer Branding Strategy and its weaknesses.
Motivation and job satisfaction of generation Y employees

This thesis aims to find out how to properly motivate the new generation Y and find out if there are differences in their motivation and job satisfaction from other generations. Using mixed research in the form of a questionnaire survey for employees and in-depth interviews with potential employers will provide a dual view of the issue, which can provide valuable information and serve as an important informative element for the correct motivation of Y generation. Three hypotheses have been identified, which will be subsequently verified in both quantitative and qualitative research. After evaluating the research, it is good news that the outlook of the generation Y and their employers is very similar, and it seems that potential employers are very well prepared for the future generation and are already able to estimate their differentiation from other generations and thus properly motivate them and stimulate them for better work performance.
Make use of team-building activities for increase in motivation, performance and loyalty of employees in chosen company

The goal of the diploma thesis was an analysis of an influence of team-building activities on motivation, performance and loyalty of employees in the Národní Pokladnice s.r.o.. The answers on the previous questions was found out by questionnaires among the employees of the company. The answers on the previous questions were found out via questionnaires among the employees of Národní Pokladnice s.r.o. company. The fact that the employees are more loyal due to team-building activities I can confirm on the grounds of the questionnaires as well as the team-building can have an impact on work performance derivatively thanks to pleasant working conditions, nice group of people and good relationships. The work relationships and motivation are topics full of contradictions in theory as well as in practise. In spite of that, the respondents tend to an opinion that the relationships are motives for them. A partial goal was to suggest a better way of organization of the event in the future or to decide whether to hold the event at all. The employees evaluate last events very positively and they are looking forward to the next one. I recommend to keep the general thought of the event but to diversify particular activities more in accordance with a difficulty.
Recruitment process and selection of employees at a chosen Business Support Center

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the recruitment process and selection of employees at ExxonMobil Business Support Center, identify its strengths and weaknesses and recommend actions to improve its efficiency. The theoretical part of this thesis defines basic terms and activities connected to the area of recruitment and selection of employees, including its historical evolution. The practical part analyses the recruitment process and selection of employees at ExxonMobil Business Support Center using the results of the own questionnaire that was distributed to the employees that had participated in this process. Based on the identification of strengths and weakness of this system, there are proposed several recommendations in order to increase its effectiveness and satisfaction of candidates that is connected to it.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze processes such as recruitment and selection of employees at Nestlé Česko s.r.o., to identify the strengths and weaknesses and to propose actions that could optimize the above mentioned HR activities while taking into account current trends in that field. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a comprehensive framework related to human resource management, especially traditional and modern methods and concepts related to Recruitment, as well as the overview of an area of personnel marketing and a generation Y. In the practical part of this thesis, several optimization steps were proposed based on the results of an employee survey and the analysis of recruitment and employee selection practices at Nestlé.
Comparison of the recruitment process in private and public sector

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the recruitment process in the private and public sector and to compare its complexity, flexibility and efficiency. Based on a comparative analysis, these approaches to employee recruitment and selection will be compared across two completely different employment environments, including the privately-owned transnational company Clearstream, s.r.o. on one hand, and the Revenue Authority in Prague on the other. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definition of the issue of recruitment and selection of workers. The practical part deals with the analysis of the recruitment and selection of employees in the private and public sector. The attractiveness of these institutions on the labor market and the different approaches to recruitment are assessed on the basis of data obtained through systematic observation of practices and studies of relevant internal resources. The conclusion of the practical part is the deduction of the main differences between the private and public sector, the evaluation of suitability and effectiveness of used methods and recommendations leading to the possible improvement of the recruitment processes.
Freedom at work

This Master´s Thesis is concerned with freedom at work. The aim of this thesis, is describe, analyse and evaluate the concept "Freedom at work" in three particular companies. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis, principles and methods related to this area. Data are largely based on the academic literature. The practical part represents best practices of liberal companies abroad. In this part selected companies Etnetera a.s., IReSoft, s.r.o. and Country Life, s.r.o. are presented. There is also analysis of democratic principles in these companies, survey, survey evaluation and formulation of recommendations. To achieve the goals of this work are used these methods: comparison of theory with practice, interviews with the members of the personnel department and the director, interviews with employees of liberal companies, analysis of internal documents and questionnaires. The acquisition of this work is a formulation of recommendations that emerged from the comments and suggestions of employees in the questionnaire survey.
Volunteering of seniors in community

The diploma thesis deals with the theme of volunteering of seniors in the community. The work focuses on the specifics of volunteering of seniors, emphasizing the benefits of volunteering for participating seniors and how to identify them with other groups of people. Using a qualitative research work, it examines on a sample of eight respondents how these senior volunteers perceive the benefits of volunteering, how they relate to the geographical location in which they work, and what communities they form through volunteer participation.
