Bachelor thesis Norwegian World War II Experience - 65 Years of Its Metamorphosis examines a development of an interpretation of the Second World War in Norway. It pursues to analyze the Norwegian historiography on the background of the evolution of the same phenomenon in the area of Western Europe. From the first post-war years until the end of 1980's was the development of the Norwegian historiography confined to a generally accepted concensus which perceived the war as a struggle of the vast majority of Norwegians united in a resistance against foreign enemies and a limited group of their Norwegian henchmen. The field of the resistance was scrutinized primarily, then, in the 1970's, first research on the issue of collaboration was made. Nevertheless, the historical publications kept their black-and-white perspective of the war experience until the turn of 1980's and 1990's, when a new generation of historians broke into the research and since then it has been trying to achieve a synthesis of this dominant perspective. Moreover, this generation is focused on the grey zones of the occupation period. The thesis demonstrates that there have been striking similarities between the development in Norway and Western Europe, yet, the Norwegian historiography falls behind. Upgrading of Vsetín Railway Station

The aim of the diploma thesis is design of the Vsetín railway station reconstruction according to the current operation and the requirements for persons with reduced mobility. The two new double face island platforms with the height of 550 mm above the top of rail is designed. Further, the speed in passing running lines and also the curves in front of Polanka throat of the station is increased.

Upgrading of Jindřichov na Moravě and Branná Railway Stations

The master thesis "Upgrading of Jindřichov na Moravě and Branná Railway Stations" deals with designing new platforms that are suitable for people with reduced mobility in accordance with applicable laws and standards. Platforms with the platform edge height of 550 millimetres above the top of rail were designed. The speed limit was increased from the original 40 km/h up to 50 km/h. Moreover, the thesis design reconstruction of railway superstructure and railway substructure and deal with the drainage system.

Upgrading of Náměšť nad Oslavou Railway Station

The goal of the diploma thesis is the reconstruction of the Namest nad Oslavou railway station in aim to fulfill the requirements for the movement of persons with reduced mobility. It was necessary to design five platform edges with a height of the platform edge 550 mm above rail level in that context. Furthermore increased speed was designed in the main tracks. There was also included the design of reconstruction of drainage system of railway tracks.

Temperature controller of microwave reactor

Simple low-cost temperature feedback control loop was created, using personal computer as control and data acquisition element. It controlled the temperature inside mircowave pressure reactor. Medium in reactor tank (volume about 600 ml) was calorified by 1,8 kW magnetron, which power was driven by PSD controller. The PC- process interface was made by USB data acquisition modul UD128A8D. The utility program was written. It implemented PSD controller and data acquisition function. Furhtermore it implemented interface which enabled user to set the technological curve (time-temperature relation). The protocol of experiment was automatically stored to Micosoft Excel file before the program’s termination.

Vsetin - Velke Karlovice Railway Track Refurbishment (section between km 17,000 - 19,950 km) Including Track Laying Technology

Bachelor´s thesis deals with design of permanent way and track geometry parameters of the selected section of Vsetín – Velké Karlovice railway track. The design should be considered primarily on existing objects such as railway crossings, culverts, railway stops, bridges , etc. Thesis includes restoration of drainage and track laying technology. It should be noted, that all proposed adjustments are designed according to current regulations and legislation.

Study of Transfer Terminal in Ivančice

My task in Bachelor´s Thesis is to examine the position of transfer terminal IDS in Ivančice. This task includes designing a new railway platform and new bus station near the railway crossing with the road number II/152 in km 5,535 000 nearby the railway station Ivančice. I assume that the passanger transport will end in the railway station Ivančice in the new terminal. The Railway to Oslavany will continue as a spur. My work consist in processing of 3 different variants. It is nesseseary to ensure sufficient capacity for 7 bus lines and 1 railway line. It is also important to provide adequate facilities and comfortable acces for travelers. I also deal with wheelchair sidewalks, crossworks and ramps. I try to solve the problem with high intensity of car and truck transport in centre of Ivančice. In my design is outlined design of new bypass road which will be led in the present railway corridor.
