The diploma thesis will have two parts, both the theoretical part and the practical part. In the first chapter of the theoretical part, I would focus on "Social and legal protection of children". Here I will highlight the focus of social and legal protection, and what competencies a social worker has in this department. Furthermore, I would like to state what activities a social worker performs in this department, according to Act No. 359/1999 , on social and legal protection of children. In the second chapter, I would deal with prejudices alone. I will define prejudices here, describe the typology of prejudices, and how they manifest themselves. In the third chapter I will focus on attitudes and their definitions, speeches and types. In the fourth chapter, I would like to look at the views of social workers on the client. In the fifth chapter I would mention the process of assessing the client's life situation, its stages, the models and the factors influencing the assessment. In the sixth chapter I would define the concept of influence. The practical part will be focused on qualitative research and will be divided into two parts. The bachelor thesis entitled "The gender aspects of homelessness" is about men and women without their home. The bachelor thesis is focused on the difference of perception of women and men without their home regarding their situation. The theoretical part deals with the issue of the homelessness, history, division, gender aspects. The thesis explains the concept of gender, social congnition, gender stereotypes in the society and in homelessness. The aim of the research is to answer the research question "How homeless women and homeless men perceive their situation given their gender? Parental Alienation Syndrome by former users of services from the Outreach Outpatient Centre of the House of Three Wishes

The work deals with Parental Alienation Syndrome and connects it to the separation of parents or in their process of a breakup. It also deals with selected work options, specifically work with parents in the conflict and the actual work with the family in the presence of this syndrome. The theoretical part is a chapter of parents'separation and a chapter of Parental Alienation Syndrome. The practical part includes a description of the research, evaluation and conclusions. The main objective of the research is to analyze the situation of the family, giving rise to the syndrome from the perspective of the alienated parents. Parental Alienation Syndrome is a high risk for society and its occurrence or consequences are not negligible. Topicality is given to the large number of separations and divorces in our society.

Gender in social work - content analysis of the periodical since year 2000

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Gender in the context of social work - content analysis of specialized periodicals since 2000" has only the theoretical part, supported by texts from selected reviewed professional journals. The theoretical part is divided into six chapters. Each of the individual chapters is covers one field of social work, which the selected periodicals are dedicated to. In the first chapter the goal of the Bachelor thesis is outlined. In the second chapter the texts from selected professional reviewed periodicals since 2000 are described. The third chapter explains the concept of gender and its development in the Czech Republic and abroad. The fourth chapter moves specifically to gender in social work. In the chapters five till seven the thesis concerns about specific areas of social work, where gender is a very substantial matter. 1 Summary Životní situace žen žijících v azylovém domě Life Situation of Woman in The Shelter Jana Súkeníková The bachelor work devotes problems in the social act, which can bring mothers with children to the shelter houses. The main research question sounds: "What way of life brought women to the shelter?" The theoretical part of this work includes definition social functioning, the concept of living situations. The subsequent term, models and methodologies situation. This part describes characteristics and activities of shelter houses for mothers and children in crisis too. The second, empriric, part is composed of the methodolical section. For this research used a qualitative research method. The third section contains a description of the equipment that I have examined. This section presents the research sample and the results obtained from the interviews.

Diploma thesis "Behavioral symptoms in sexually abused children, families access and response of social workers" focuses on clarifying the issue of child sexual abuse and its course. The introductory chapters deal with explaining the concept of sexual abuse and the possible occurrence. It characterized by potential victims, offenders and the possible risks. The work focuses on social and psychosomatic manifestations of children who are victims of sexual abuse. It compares the responses of children by age and sex. The important part is the revelation of the incident. Revealed is the most deliverance victim of pathological behavior. The work describes the victim may have reasons for concealing situation, how it reacts family after disclosure. How the assistence of social workers in contact with victims of sexual abuse.But also what measures are needed to prevent further deprivation of the child. Determination of cloud types from satellite radiometric measurements

The thesis is focused on analysis and possible modifications of methods and procedures allowing the determination of various cloud types using the satellite data. Today, the main methods are concentrated around two the most applied international projects, one being developed for the instrument MODIS on board American Terra and Aqua polar satellites, and the other one being developed for the instrument SEVIRI on the European geostationary satellite Meteosat. The algorithms used for automatic discrimination of several cloud types operationally are created on these models. The American program MODIS Atmosphere have been created by NASA and the European program NWC SAF have been developed by organization EUMETSAT. Content of the thesis is to specify how input parameters influence final result of cloud determination in both models, and how results are depending on the external meteorological and geographical conditions during data acquisition. The effort will be given to identification of main drawbacks at two models and to identify conditions when their respective application is limited, their results different and to make steps towards possible modifications to mitigate the drawbacks.
