The diploma thesis on the topic of Cognitive processes in the teaching of civic education at elementary school deals with how the topic of cognitive processes, especially perception and memory, is realized within the framework of civic education. An essential part of the work is the explanation of these two key psychological concepts and at the same time introducing the main psychological disciplines, applied fields and leading representatives who dealt with these basic physiological principles. The didactic part is focused on the so-called functional psychological literacy. I will focus on the inclusion of cognitive processes in the Framework Education Program and, based on the analysis of textbooks, listening to civics lessons and interviews with teachers at primary school, I will find out how and by what methods the subject of these cognitive processes is currently taught. New trends in the use of probiotics in cosmetic products and their characterization
Dvořáková, Monika ; Němcová, Andrea (referee) ; Trachtová, Štěpánka (advisor)
Probiotic products have always been, in the form of various dairy products, a part of our diet. In recent years, they also became prominent in the pharmaceutical sector, where they can often be found as food supplements, and in the cosmetic sector, where they are being added to intimate hygiene and skin care products. The first part of the thesis consists of conducting a theoretical research in the field of probiotics, microbiome and other possibilities of where we can find probiotic organisms in cosmetic products. Further, a part of the thesis is devoted to methods of cultivating and isolating bacterial DNA from the following products: Benton, Mechnikov, La Rosche-Posay creams and Benton and Neogen masks, in sufficient quality for subsequent PCR amplification. DNA was isolated using magnetic carriers, a commercial kit, and phenol extraction. The presence of bacterial DNA was proved by a q-PCR analysis using genus-specified primers of selected bacteria. Genus identification corresponded with the information declared by the manufacturer. To conclude, a PCR and propidium monoazide dye were used in combination for quantification of viable and dead cells, and a HRM analysis was performed.
Využití mobilní aplikace AWIN Horse ve vybraném chovu koní
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Marie - Anna
Nowadays, majority of horse owners or breeders are becoming more familiar with the topic of animal welfare and as a result they are willing to provide their horses with the best possible living conditions. This trend goes in hand with necessary changes in the stable technologies, which are trying to get as close as possible to the natural lifestyle of horses. These changes need to take into account not only good nutrition of each animal but also appropriate health condition. Taking into consideration all above mentioned factors, so called active stables are coming to the foreground which meet all the criteria of horse welfare. This system of stabling horses is so unique, because it enables to keep the horses outside during the whole year, together with creating various groups of horses. The whole system is managed by the software and chips, which are placed directly onto the horses. The software and chips communicate with the feeding machines which helps to systematize the day program of each animal. The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the level welfare of horses kept in this type of stabling. AWIN welfare assessment protocol for horses was used for the process of evaluation with data entered via the AWINHorse mobile application. In order to provide a good long-term observation, three individual evaluations were performed every six moths. This enabled to determine the factors, which influence the welfare not only of each individual horse, but also of the group itself. This group consisted of individuals aged between 5 to 26 years of age. After evaluating all observations, it has become obvious, that the most challenging criterion is providing the suitable nutrition, mainly for horses prone to obesity, concretely 39 % of horses were described as BCS 4 and 11 % as BCS 5. There has also been monitored slightly higher level of injuries within the herd. Average number of injuries were 8,18 in Assessment I, 1 in Assessment II and 2,46 in Assessment III. The most frequent type of integument alterations was alopecia (73 %), and the most vulnerable parts were hindquarters (27 %), midsection (19 %) and head (15 %). Nasal and ocular discharges were also frequent - only 24 % of horses did not show symptoms of these conditions. On the other hand, a lot of the welfare indicators like swollen joints (11 %), ab-normal breathing (13 %) and coughing (6 %) were observed sporadically. None of the monitored horses were evaluated with poor hair coat condition, signs of hoof neglect, lameness, lesions at mouth corners and prolapse. Thanks to technology a lot of the welfare criteria were accomplished, such as absence of prolonged thirst, comfort around resting and ease of movement. Social interaction was enabled at the highest possible level which had an impact to a occasional presence of agonistic behaviour 13 %. No stereotypies were observed. Majority of horses (96 %) also showed requested reactions in human-animal relationship tests. Factors, which influence the level of welfare were determined as season of the year and integration of new horses into the existing herd. The evaluation is has been evaluated as very beneficial for the breeders as there have been monitored problems, which can be avoided in the future. There have also been suggested ways of correction. The potential of the active stable system has been mainly proven. However, more observations need to be performed in the future in order to provide overall results.

Dědič, Ondřej ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor) ; Zicha, Zbyněk (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis entitled Political participation in citizenship education at the second stage of basic education is, based on a comparison of curricular documents, to identify the topics and outcomes that will lead to the promotion of political participation, to carry out a didactic analysis of selected political topics and to propose a suitable didactic procedure for teaching these topics in citizenship education classes at the second level of primary schools and in the lower grades of multi-year grammar schools. The emphasis is on working with authentic texts and the development of key competences according to the Framework Curriculum for Primary Schools. At the same time, taking into account the conditions and trends at the time of writing the diploma thesis, each lesson is designed with the possibility of moving the teaching to a distance form. The starting point for why this thesis is being written in the first place and why its objectives are set in this way is an analysis of research on political participation in selected countries. The research findings point to some problematic places in the teaching of citizenship education...

Influence of minerals on health status and reproduction of cattle without marketable milk production
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Markéta
Minerals in beef cattle nutrition are very important for the health of cows, their conception and also for their calves and colostrum, which is very important to them. The aim of the work was to evaluate the health status and reproductive indicators in terms of the content of minerals in the blood of BTPM cows. The literature review describes the digestive system of cattle, characterizes beef cattle and especially meat simental, in which the experiment took place. I also describe the nutrition of cattle, blood composition and hematological parameters of blood. A total of 3 samples were taken every 3 weeks. In each sample, 12 blood samples were taken from cows aged 20-30 months with a live weight of 600-750 kg. Overall, most values were within the usual ranges. By maintaining the same feed ration and adding a mineral lysis with increased selenium content, the cows could get better and some mineral values would improve.
