PhDr. Lenka Krámská, Ph.D. Pages: 101 Number of sources: 93 The thesis deals with the topic of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) and their differential diagnosis in the context of attachment and its measuring. Based on theoretical knowledge, the relation between attachment disorders and the diagnosis of PNES was assumed. This connection was examined by comparing the results of three groups of respondents with different diagnoses (PNES, PNES and epilepsy, epilepsy) and a control group. The theoretical part deals with the problematics of attachment, PNES and epilepsy. The empirical part examines differences between groups of respondents, correlations of the variables with socio-demographic factors and correlations between results of each used method. Three questionnaires, PBI, ECR and ECR-RS were used for the research. The data were collected in the Epilepsy Centre at the Na Homolce Hospital. Coping strategies among people with depression diagnosis

The submitted thesis deals with coping strategies for people treated with depressive disorders. It deals with the context of the experience of depression and the choice of coping strategies. The aim of this work is to find out whether there is a difference in the selection and use of coping strategies in people diagnosed with depression compared to non-psychiatric population. In the literary review, attention is paid to the depressive disorder, its description and symptoms. Other topics are the definition and theories of stress, followed by the stress management strategies. The empirical part has quantitative research using a questionnaire survey. SVF-78 and BDI-II questionnaires were used as methodological tools. The aim of the practical part was to find out whether there is a difference in the use of coping strategies in people with a diagnosis of depression compared to the general population and if so, what defensive strategies are prevalent or, on the contrary, are used statistically less. Research has demonstrated the specifics of using coping strategies in people with a diagnosis of depression. People with a diagnosis of depression frequently use significantly more negative coping strategies. Burnout syndrome in the context of nursing

The content of this thesis is a research study investigating the relationship between burnout levels experienced by nurses working in the Czech Republic, Costa Rica, Spain and some US states. Through an online questionnaire, their degree of empathy, emotional attachment, and level of education were determined A questionnaire was developed by using the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) in health personnel, Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) to measure of dispositional empathy, Experiences in Close Relationships - Relationship Structures (ECR-RS) to assess attachment patterns in a variety of close relationships and an Emotion Thermometers tool a simple rapid modular screening tool for detection and monitoring of emotional disorders in clinical practice. Part of the questionnaire are an anamnestic questions to also analyze the demographic data. The questionnaire was sent by email to nurses working in the above countries. The group comprised a sample of 1123 nurses represented in the study from September 2018 to January 2019.
Relationship of emotional attachment and empathy to burnout syndrome at nursing staff

This bachelor thesis deals with the relation of emotional ties, empathy and the burnout syndrome among health care personnal. And at the same time this thesis deals with the relationships between them with each other. The work is composed of two parts. The first part is theoretical, where the burnout syndrome, empathy and emotional attachment is characterized. The second part is devoted to the empiric research. This includes the results from the questionnaires that were filled in by a medical personnel. In the first of the questionnaire is examinened the burnout syndrome using the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) for health personnel. In the next questionnaire, the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) is explored empathy and the Experiences in Close Relationships- Relationship Structures (ECR-RS) is about exploring avoidance and anxiety in relation to partner, friend and parents, mother and father. The content of the questionnaire investigation is inherently anamnestic questionnaire and informed consent. Anamnestic questionnaire is used for the processing of demographic data. All the results from the empirical research are included in the tables and graphs. A fully summary is in the discussion and in the final of bachelor thesis.
Fear of hypoglycemia in adults with diabetes I. type in nursing process

This bachelor thesis discusses the fear of hypoglycemia at patients who have diagnosed diabetes mellitus of first type. This thesis is divided into two parts. There is a theoretical part, which deals with problematic of diabetes mellitus, with its characteristic, symptoms, diagnostic, treatment and complications. Next theme of this theoretical part is deals with fear, anxiety, depression and emotional structure or attachments. Empirical part of this bachelor thesis is dedicated to fear of low level sugar in blood in relation to depression, anxiety, emotional attachments and other demographic and clinic factors. The conclusion of the practical part describes the sample of respondents and determines the results of the research. The research for this thesis was based on six questionnaires, which respondents received in this order - a non-standardized anamnesis questionnaire, research of low level of sugar in blood at adults (HFS - II), Beck's self-judged scale of anxiety (BAI), Beck's Depression Scale (BDI- II), Experiences in close relationships (ECR) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder - 7 (GAD - 7). Educational skills of nurses - theory and practice

In my Bachelor's thesis I am approaching the theme of "Educational abilities of the nurses - theory and praxis". The target of the work is to approximate the the issue of education, to establish the level of theoretic knowledge of the nurses working in the clinics of the Royal Vinohrady Teaching Hospital, regarding the education of the patients and to try to determine the quality level of the education being performed, based on the interview survey and patients' satisfaction. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part contains an insight into the history of the pedagogy and the development of the education, describes the basic educational terms and the educational determinants to help us to understand the issue. It also approximates the challenging task of the nurses educators, who, in order to provide the educational activity, also have to master the process of education, understand the area being educated and the art of the communication with the patient. Quality of Life in Patiens with Rosacea

The aim of my work is to judge the quality of life of the patients with rosacea. I also mean to create an overview on the condition and the quality of life of its sufferers from the newest resources. This thesis also proposes to find out the level of impact attachments in adulthood and the rearing methods of the parents in the formative years up to the age of 16 can have on the quality of life and subsequent health of the patients. To do this, I shall prepare and assign a questionnaire and consequently compare and interpret the discovered information with a group of peaple not afflicted with the diseases.
