Realization of the upper rough construction of apartment building in Prague
Ivanova, Anastasiia ; Venkrbec, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to solve the stage of the upper rough construction of apartment building in Prague. The house made up of a monolithic structure. This monolithic structure consists of walls and ceiling slab. Stairs designed as prefabricated mounted on monolithic landing and half landing. The landings are part of the ceiling slab, the half landings will be carried out additionally by means of the reinforcement frames in the staircases. The object’s construction system is bi-directional. The building is basement and has ten aboveground floors and two underground.

The content of the bachelor thesis is a summary technical report of the building-technological project, resolving traffic routes to the construction site, design of site equipment and machinery assembly, elaboration of technological regulations and control test plans for vertical masonry and monolithic horizontal structures, health and safety at work, time schedule of construction and budget of the technological stage.
Evaluation of centralized and decentralized sanitation
Novotný, Michal ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of comparison of centralized and decentralized wastewater treatment system for an urban area of 1000 inhabitant equivalent. Theoretical part of thesis is made by a research study and is focused on the options of centralized and decentralized wastewater draining and treatment. In the second part of the thesis a study of comparison between centralized and decentralized wastewater disposal is elaborated for village Boleradice considering investment and operating costs.
Threesome
Štefanigová, Denisa ; Novotný, Michal (referee) ; Malý, Břetislav (advisor)
Painting act as an act of making love The bachelor thesis is a serie of paintings on canvas, which strives to make the erotic images that each of us creates on the basis of his own imagination from day to day. They are unrealized, or dreamed and are not anchored in reality, thus creating a new reality, functioning in the space of our heads. This is how painting works for me. As a space in which something can happen that doesn't really exist.
Renovation apartment building Křenová 76, Brno
Neduchal, Zbyněk ; Novotný, Miloslav (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis elaborates the project documentation for the realization of the building for the renovation of the apartment building on street Křenová 76 in Brno. The building is divided into two residential above-ground floors and a non-residential basement and an attic. On both above-ground floors there are two dwellings that are not currently being used. The foundations are made of bricks, vertical and non-bearing walls are also made of bricks, horizontal structures are in the basement of barrel vault and in the above-ground floors there are wooden joist floor with reed. The roof truss is made out of a purlin system with a strutted purlin roof, a roof made of clay tile roofing. There will be seven new apartments and a café in the 1st floor with an outdoor terrace in the garden area. The rehabilitation of wet masonry by pressurized grouting, ventilated flooring with igloo system, wooden joist floor with a reinforced concrete slab and a newly ventilated roofing cladding with thermal insulation between and above ramps with folded roofing made out of ceramic tiles will be carried out.
Study of properties of laser welds of Domex 460 MC material using arc preheating
Novotný, Michal ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with weldability of Domex 460 MC material. There are two welding methods and three other welded materials in heterogenous connection which will be researched in this diploma thesis. The welding methods are fiber solid-state laser and a new method of hybrid welding called laser – TIG. The other materials are Domex 700 MC, S355J2 and DC01. Domex 460 MC is a high-strenght steel with fine-grained structure. During the welding process the imput heat decreases mechanical properties of the materials. This effect is caused by material seeds growing. From these samples (which were produced by welding) were created metallographic cuts. These metallographic cuts were analysed focusing on their makrostructure, microstructure, mikrohardnest and Mn arrangement in welded heterogenous samples using electron microscope and EDX analysis.
Estimating the Relationship between Food, Fuel and Biofuel Prices
Novotný, Matěj ; Janda, Karel (advisor) ; Khymych, Olha (referee)
Although biofuels have drawn the attention of researchers since its boom, which took place 20 years ago, doubts about benefits which their usage brings in the academic debate. This thesis joins the debate that discusses the impact of biofuels on food prices. The prices of 38 commodities and assets that are related to the biofuels are examined under Minimum Spanning Tree and Hierarchical Tree methods over the years between 2003-2019. The time span is divided into 4 periods, that responds to the development of world food prices. The results show that the relationship between biofuels and their feedstock depends on the overall level of food prices. In the case of higher food prices, the link between feedstock and biofuel is stronger and therefore the price transmission is more likely to happen. With lower food prices, this link is significantly weaker. Furthermore, the development of world food prices does not follow the trend of increasing biofuels production as food prices have become stable in recent periods. Therefore, this thesis does not support the claim that biofuels cause higher prices of food. Keywords biofuels, ethanol, biodiesel, transportation, food price transmission, Minimum Spanning Tree, Hierarchical Tree 1
3D structures of phosphorylation
Kielarová, Anežka ; Novotný, Marian (advisor) ; Vařeková, Radka (referee)
Protein phosphorylation is a common post-translational protein modification used in almost all cellular processes. When a phosphate group is added to an amino acid side chain, it may alter the protein conformation and protein-protein interactions due to its size and its negative charge. It may also change the protein function, activity and even localization within the cell. Experimental detection of phosphorylation is still extremely labor demanding and very expensive, even when deploying protein mass spectrometry. For this very reason many bioinformatics scientific groups focus on the prediction of protein phosphorylation sites. Recent analyses of phosphorylation sites studied mainly non-phosphorylated phosphorylation sites and the distribution and representation of amino acids sequentially neighboring them. Since sequentially more distant, but structurally close amino acids can contribute to the recognition of protein substrate by protein kinase, structural environment of phosphorylation sites was studied in this thesis. Furthermore, 3D structures of phosphorylation sites were comprehensively studied for the first time in a phosphorylated state and the results were compared with the results obtained from the analysis of non- phosphorylated sites. Phosphorylation sites were found mostly within...
Paper
Plášil, Ondřej ; Novotný, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a portfolio of paper products with respect to established ethical principles. The resulting products must have a suitable design optimized for the manufacturing process. Based on the changes in sales over the past two decades, this work revises the current market position of paper. In addition, it generally examines the unethical communication of paper entities towards the end user. The result of this thesis is a range of products of two selected basic types - notebook and photo album. The overall results of my efforts, including this work, are likely to result in the creation of a new, own brand.
