Control of headlight assembly line
Sikora, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of the reflector assembly line. The document contains the analysis of the customer requirements sheet. In short there is written how to put the parts of the reflector together. The Poka-Yoke method is properly described in this work too. This method is used to design of the actions, which are trying to decrease the risk level of wrong reflector composition as low as it is possible. FMEA and PFMEA methods are explained in theory. There is the plan how to make the analysis too. The instrumentation of one part of the line is designed according to this analysis and according to the customer requirements. The OEE pointer is used to test the right effect of the Poka-Yoke method. The next aim of this thesis is to compare chosen PLCs for control of the assembly line and to choose one of them. On the base of the analysis there is designed the control program in the flowcharts form. One part of this thesis is focused on design of the visualization for the chosen operational panel.
Feeder Protection Relay REF615
Holomek, David ; Foukal, Roman (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to create a monitoring system for an asynchronous motor using IED REF615. For REF615 devices it is necessary to make the appropriate configuration and connection. The device communicate with the MVI69-MNET card by Modbus/TCP protocol. The thesis describes the operation of an asynchronous motor through the use of a PowerFlex 40 frequency changer. PowerFlex 40 sends data via an Ethernet/IP connection. The thesis also describes a program in PLC for monitoring the power status of an asynchronous motor. The next part of my work is a visualization created in the FactoryTalk View Studio. In conclusion, the thesis is tested by connecting all of the components as well as all of the proposed functions.
Control and visualization of programme blocks for sewage treatment
Monček, Matej ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The theme of master thesis was to cover issues of controlling the wastewater treatment plant, to introduce latest standards applied in design of graphical interface and design the set of fucntional and graphical objects. First parts focuses on listing of power devices, sensors used in wastewater plant and issues of its control, followed by HMI standards introduction. Practical part contents of configuration of control system, desription of functions with flowcharts. Subsequently the thesis covers specificall graphical objects and its connection onto functional blocks.
Tic-tac-toe game by 2D manipulator
Maléř, Martin ; Stibor, Karel (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the renewal of electrical equipment of 2D manipulator and putting it into operation. It contains a description of the machine, used components and their connections. It describes the principle of two communication buses, which are used for machine control. Next part is devoted to the safety analysis of the machine. Following chapters describe developing of a control program and designing of a visualization.
Power Line Communication for Home Automation Applications
Hromádka, Michal ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a modem for a communication over residential power lines. First part is focused on the history, suitable frequency bands, modulation techniques and mainly on the selection of the optimal modem device. Second section contains the description of the hardware design of the modem itself and clarifies the implementation of the PLC module to be used as a communication interface for a full residential automation solution. Last chapters of this thesis introduce the communication protocol, design of the software for the ATmega32 MCU and present of the final field testing under real conditions.
CFD analysis of the airflow for the different types of flowmeters
Drexler, Pavel ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
There are some basic information about pressure sensors and flow in the first part of my diploma thesis. For example turbulent and laminar flow, construction of pressure sensors and basic information abaut Ansys and –Fluent. Main part of this thesis is focused on CFD simulation of pressure and velocity in the vicinity of pressure sensors. I confront this simulated values with measured values in final part of this thesis.
Draughts Playing Robot
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes playing draughts game by 6 axis manipulator Lynxmotion AL5D controlled by ARM Cortex M3 MCU. It involves algorithms for image recognition, artificial intelligence and algorithms for controlling 6 axis manipulator in real-time.
Design of the user-friendly touch screen GUI and a physical connection to an existing simulation hardware device
Husar, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Práce uvádí základní informace o průmyslové sběrnici AS-Interface a popisuje její funkce.
Control of lift model with the fieldbus AS-Interface
Goryl, Stanislav ; Knobloch, Tomáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis is to create and verify the control algorithm of a personal lift. First part of the thesis focuses on a literature review investigating the requirements for personal lifts. Based on the information found in the review, selected measures were implemented in the model so that it would be the most suitable to the requirements for personal lifts. A brief introduction of the lift and its norms is followed by a description of the programme and control algorithm, including the description of the used add-on instructions. Last part describes the visualization which is used to control the lift model. In addition to controlling, the visualization provides statistical data, the current status of the programme and information about the set parameters, inputs, outputs and faults.
Design of module for demonstration and testing of system basis chips NCV7471
Kresta, Martin ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
Práce se zabývá návrhem automobilové elektronické řídicí jednotky (ECU) s funkcí partial networking definovanou normou ISO 11898-6. Cílem je navrhnout a vytvořit demonstrační ECU s použitím system basis chip NCV7471. Protože NCV7471 obsahuje standardní CAN transceiver, funkce partial networking je realizována pouze softwarem řídicí jednotky. Práce zvažuje možné způsoby realizace jak HW, tak SW části, tak aby byla zajištěna nízká spotřeba ECU v různých operačních módech, a snaží se sledovat současné trendy v automobilovém průmyslu.
