The master's thesis deals with sense disambiguation of Czech words. Reader is informed about task's history and used algorithms are introduced. There are naive Bayes classifier, AdaBoost classifier, maximum entrophy method and decision trees described in this thesis. Used methods are clearly demonstrated. In the next parts of this thesis are used data also described. Last part of the thesis describe reached results. There are some ideas to improve the system at the end of the thesis.

This neighborhood is specified arbitrary more or less in distance of 5km from Mladá Boleslav. The second aim is to process spatial data of settlement in GIS programs and create predictive models. These models are valorized, criticized and interpreted by assistance of existing evidences of early medieval central places' hinterlands then. In next step possible form and development of hinterland is outlined. In the context of this thesis was made ground survey by analytical field working at site of Švédské šance. Ceramic material from this survey is evaluated by spatial data, categorized by chronology of czech early medieval and compared to donated ceramic set.

Interaction of sperm surface proteins in the reproduction process
Jonáková, Věra ; Kraus, Marek ; Maňásková, Pavla ; Liberda, J. ; Tichá, M.
Mammalian fertilization includes highly regulated biochemical interactions between complementary molecules located on the surfaces of both gametes as well as those present in the natural environment of the gametes. Boar seminal plasma proteins AQN, AWN spermadhesins and DQH protein that are bound to the sperm at ejaculation play important role in the reproduction process. Binding of sperm to epithelial cells, recognition of gametes and binding of sperm to glycoprotein of zona pellucida are mediated by protein-saccharide interaction, lektin-type interaction. Another type of interaction (protein-protein) participates in the formation of aggregated forms, which seem to be the natural functional forms of seminal plasma proteins. Protein aggregates form the sperm coating layers and their re-modeling in the female reproductive tract is imporatnt for the sperm capacitation and for the primary binding of spermto the ovum.
