Synthesis of circuit element with fractal dynamics
Domanský, Ondřej ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The first aim of this diploma thesis is to clarify problems with circuit elements described by the fractional-order dynamics, show their basic properties and possible applications in circuits with lumped parameters. The second topic is covering the synthesis of two-terminal devices which have different fractional-orders for requested phase shifts. For this kind of devices, the thesis also describes their optimization and approximation in the frequency domain and subsequent implementation in the form of passive ladder structures. The final part of diploma work will be focused on practical realization of universal fractional PID controller and the verification of proper function of this multi-port in various configurations to prove its correct function via real measurement of frequency and time responses.

Hruboš, Zdeněk ; Galajda, Pavol (referee) ; Štork, Milan (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Dizertační práce se zabývá elektronicky nastavitelnými oscilátory, studiem nelineárních vlastností spojených s použitými aktivními prvky a posouzením možnosti vzniku chaotického signálu v harmonických oscilátorech. Jednotlivé příklady vzniku podivných atraktorů jsou detailně diskutovány. V doktorské práci je dále prezentováno modelování reálných fyzikálních a biologických systémů vykazujících chaotické chování pomocí analogových elektronických obvodů a moderních aktivních prvků (OTA, MO-OTA, CCII ±, DVCC ±, atd.), včetně experimentálního ověření navržených struktur. Další část práce se zabývá možnostmi v oblasti analogově – digitální syntézy nelineárních dynamických systémů, studiem změny matematických modelů a odpovídajícím řešením.
Tube microphone preamplifier
Čacký, Adam ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The theme of the master´s thesis is design a microphone preamplifier which uses vacuum tube as a main amplifying element. Part of the work is theoretical assumptions for the optimal design and implementation of peripheral involvement, comparing the properties of components used and the resulting parameters of modeled device. The thesis also includes a proposal of the source unit for supplying all parts of the preamplifier. The results are accompanied by circuit simulations and laboratory measurements of the main parameters of the designed device.
Stopwatch for measuring of sports events
Tajč, Martin ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor work is the construction of the electronic stop-watch for measurement at sports events. This stop-watch is primary designed for use at firefighters competitions. The first part of the work is focused on a flowchart of the stop-watch and an analysis of its parts. Some alternative methods, which could be used during the construction, are compared. In the following part, there is an algorithm for the microprocessor applied in it described and features of programming languages are briefly compared. Next in the text, there are a detailed user manual as well as a manual for executing of the display panel. In the supplement, particular electronic schematics and printed wiring boards are included.
Adjustable timer for three-phase motor
Motyčka, Lukáš ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis describes several potential solutions of an adjustable timer, such as monostable multivibrators, asynchronous (ripple) and synchronous counters and microcontrollers. It also deals with issue of switching three-phase asynchronous motors with limit a high starting current on starting - star-delta switch, softstarter, frequency inverter. Particular attention is focused on the conceptual design of the timer using micro- controller Atmel (timer control unit), LCD (display device) and control switches. The microcontroller will be complemented by external 32,768 kHz watch crystal, necessary for real-time function - Real Time Counter (RTC). The cause for this choice is not only simplicity and clarity of control to the operator, but also reliability, low power consumption and also the price of the device itself.
Digitally controllable power-supply generating current pulses with adjustable rising slope and duration
Dujíček, Martin ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
Master’s thesis is focused on design of digitally controllable power-supply for generating current pulses with nominal level (few amperes), adjustable rising slope and time of duration. Device uses voltage controlled current source. Control voltage is generated by digital to analog converter. Computer simulations are accomplished for designed electronic circuit and measurement of prototype is done as well.

Design of sound reinforcement system
Košarišťan, Miroslav ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with sound apparatus. The first part is a theoretical explanation of the main part of the equipment, such as microphones, amplifiers, proofreaders, switches and speakers. Another section is devoted to the design itself, starting with the block diagram which is followed by the design of single important parts. These are made as PCB. For select-ed diagrams there is an example of PSpice program simulations and the measurement of important characteristics. The essential part of the work also addresses constructional pro-cessing of apparatus. At the end of this thesis some examples of the PCB are introduced.
Universal and fully analog oscillator with transconductance amplifiers
Kus, Václav ; Zaplatílek, Karel (referee) ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a universal analog oscillator using transconductance amplifiers. For studying behaviour of chaotic dynamical systems can be used systems Class C. Suitable way for the purpose modeling dynamic phenomena arising in these systems is an electronic circuit that exhibits the same behavior as modeled system. After familiarization with the basic principles of synthesis of integrators systems, and studying the involvement of frequently used functional blocks were designed the concept of universal chaotic oscillator using transconductance amplifiers. The functionality of this circuit has been verified by PSpice simulation program. A typical feature of chaotic oscillator is extremely sensitivity to initial conditions. Each small change on the initial parameters can lead to major change in the shape of the attractor. The result of this thesis is a functional sample of a universal chaotic oscillator, which was verified by the dynamic behavior of the given differential equations.
Laboratory device with analog computational unit AD538
Hruboš, Zdeněk ; Slezák, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
An analog multiplier are circuits, that are realized multiplication of two analog signals. They can be made by suitable connection (according to function) discreet parts. Nowadays there are integrated circuits in advance function, whose internal structure is made by complex of circuits with operating ampfliers and other circuits. These circuits have a very high accuracy of arithmetic operation which is mostly better than 1%. The analog multiplier are used in situation, when we need realize multiplication, division, exponentation, square root extraction and logarithmic calculation of analog signals. In the next are used in circuits for multiplication of frequency, shifting of frequency, amplitude modulation, detection phase angel of two signals with the same frequency, etc. The AD538 is a monolithic real-time computational circuit that provides precision analog multiplication, division and exponentiation. The combination of low input and output offset voltages and excellent linearity results in accurate computation over an unusually wide input dynamic range.
