Financial Analysis of BAŤA, akciová společnost

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to perform financial analysis of BAŤA company during the period 2009 -- 2013. In this work the emphasis is put on spatial comparison of results with both industry (section 47 - Retail, except motor vehicles) and major competitors - DEICHMANN -- OBUV s.r.o. and HUMANIC CZ spol. s r. o. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part -- methodical one -- describes various indicators of financial analysis and there are also some methods explained. In the second part the acquired theoretical knowledge is applied to BAŤA company and the results are compared with both the industry and key competitors. In the conclusion of the thesis the financial health of the company is summarized and there are also some recommendations for possible improvement of the financial situation.

Financial analysis of the company Benea, s.r.o.

The main objective of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the financial health and status of Benea s.r.o. limited company, and compare the resulting data with the totals for industry as a whole. These are obtained by means of financial analysis tools. The data were taken from the financial statements of BENEA s.r.o. and other companies within the industry for the period 2009-2013. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical and methodological part deals with the introduction of different methodological apparatuses for financial analysis. In the second practical part, these tools are applied to the data and the data are clearly arranged in charts and graphs. The conclusion summarizes the achieved results of the financial analysis and proposes options to improve future operation of the company.

The aim of this thesis is to assess the financial situation of winery Vinselekt Michlovský, a.s. One of the most important findings, which sould be in this thesis finded out, is to assess investment in nonalcoholic and lowalcoholic wines. The thesis is devided into three parts. The theoretical part of this thesis contains methods of financial analysis, which will be applied on analysed winery in practical part of this thesis. The final part is the overall assessment of the financial situation of analysed winery.

Reorganization as a way of resolving insolvency in the Czech Republic

The aim of the thesis is to assess the whole reorganization proceedings between 2008 and 2013. Assessment will be based on the methodology that will consist in the definition of the selected indicators, through which an analysis of the values observed data obtained from the insolvency register. Based on the analysis of the indicators examined and will set the key risk factors that may lead to a possible successful or unsuccessful completion of the reorganization proceedings. To assess the course of the reorganization proceedings will be examined successfully and unsuccessfully completed the reorganization and further currently ongoing reorganization. Selected indicators shall include the number of insolvency proposals related to the reorganization proceedings, the duration of the reorganization, the method of its solution and compare the satisfaction of secured and unsecured creditors.

Financial analysis of Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial condition of the company Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s. during the time period between 2007 and 2011. The work provides external view of the company and is based on the publicly available data. The work is divided into three parts, methodological , practical and one focused on description of the company. The first part describes selected indicators of financial analysis theoretically and also includes their justification. The second part focuses on the application of these financial indicators on the real company data. Computations of individual absolute, differential and ratio indicators are included as well. Moreover, this part includes pyramidal decomposition of ROE, Economic value added, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and intra-industry comparison. The work concludes with the most important results and findings of the practical part and overall evaluation of the financial situation of the company.

The aim of the Bachelor's Thesis "Financial Analysis of Petrof spol. s r.o." is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and estimate its future development based on an analysis of publicly available data from 2007 to 2011. The Thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the methodology of financial analysis, which is then applied in the practical part. The Financial analysis includes horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis and application of prediction models (Index IN05, Kralicek quick test). The practical part additionally contains a description of the company and its history and also a comparison of the Petrof with other major manufacturers of musical instruments in the Czech Republic.

The theoretical part defines basic concepts needed to comprehend the issue. The practical part deals with an application of financial analysis on the company, while at the end of the thesis a summary of the findings and an insight into the future development of the company is given.

Financial valuation of an investment in Real Estate and Property management

The Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of financial valuation of an investment in Real Estate and Property management market. Specifically it evaluates the investment in reputable Shopping center in Olomouc city, which however, according to analysis, still offers a great opportunity for increase of its value predominantly throughout efficient property management. Bachelor thesis consists of two parts. First, the theoretical part, defines the principles of investments and afterwards it focuses on individual methods of investment valuation. Second, the practical part, deals with specific investment in above mentioned shopping center. On this particular investment, individual valuation methods are demonstrated. In this part I also pay attention to sensitivity analysis, which shows impact of changes of key assumptions on whole investment valuation. The goal of this thesis is to analyze financial impact of the investment for investor.

The goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to find out how was Servodata, a.s. managed from a financial point of view in years 2008 - 2012 and to apply knowledge and experience, which I gained during the Bachelor course at The University of Economics in Prague. Thesis consists of two parts: theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical part includes the description of methods of financial analysis I have applied in this work. Practical part includes the history of the firm and practical application of the methods described in the first part. The conclusion consists of my comments and my suggestions to the firm, if I find any problems during my analysis. The Bachelor's Thesis includes vertical and horizontal analysis, ratio analysis, industry comparison, EVA analysis and more.
