Intelligent lighting system for home automation
Raninec, Michal ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
This paper discuss the design and realisation of intelligent lighting system for home automation. Identifying the most adequate solution of system implementation is followed by choosing suitable components, design of electrical circuits and printed circuit boards. The project then deals with development of software for each particular device in the system and development of computer application for managing the system. The paper also treats with mechanical design and construction of devices in the system.
The MEMS sensors usability for position detection
Bobalík, Lukáš ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Žák, Jaromír (advisor)
Within this Master’s thesis, design and construction of a strapdown inertial navigation system based on MEMS sensors is described. The thesis includes theoretic analysis of physics behind determining the position of an object based on the object’s aceleration and changes in the object’s orientation in space. Included is also an overview of mathematical methods related to the position calculation.
Image sensor signal data processing
Růžička, Jakub ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Žák, Jaromír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an image capturing by a CMOS image sensor and controlling of graphical LCD displays using specialized integrated circuits. A theoretical research on the topic and design of the system designed for ease of processing, transmitting and still images displaying based on this research is described in this work. The output of the work is complete the device realized.
Ultrasonic distance measurement
Giemza, Michal ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and realization of an ultrasonic distance meter. Is discussed about the principle of distance measurement using ultrasound and all physics laws, that occur during the measurement. It was selected the most appropriate measurement method, was also discussed about different types of ultrasonic transducers and was selected an appropriate converter for the specified task. The following part describes all function parts of the meter together with the processing of the detected ultrasonic signal. Next part is focused on the realization of the meter and programming, including the control of the graphical display and communication over the USB bus. The last part deals with the measurement with the completed meter to verify the functionality and the right choice of measurement method and circuit solution.
Control electronics for biohazard box
Pavlas, Lukáš ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
The submitted work describes design of the electronic working condition monitoring system for laboratory Is analyzed in detail the issue of categorization of laboratory laminar flow hood, determine characteristic of operating variables and their monitoring. Next is described a functional specification of the whole device and it follows the design concept of the possible solutions along with a selection of components for implementation. At the last part is described proposal communication protocol for communication between a master unit and auxiliary slave unit.
Multichannel instrumentation for electrochemical measurement from sensor array
Žák, Jaromír ; Kizek, René (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The work deals with n-channel system enabling many sample analysis at sort time from sensor array using electrochemical methods. The 8x12 sensor arrays are formed from 3 electrodes system created on PCB which can be used for heavy metal analysis and toxic substances determination. The control unit switches each 3 electrode sensor to 8 channel precise potentiostat which was designed for electrochemical analysis with current sensitivity below 10 pA. The potentiostat can synchronize with control unit. Developed system is able to measure up to eight single inputs and may be simply converted to measure other nonchemical values. Measured data will be sent to user-friendly application in computer and analyzed or saved consequently.
Electronic instrument for environment monitoring during plants growing
Žák, Jaromír ; Kuchta, Radek (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The main goal of this project is to make electronic instrument for monitoring environment during plants growing for Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno. The new device will replace current analog recorder of temperature and humidity. New device will be extended by measuring atmospheric pressure, illumination and CO2 concentration. Main advantage of electronic measuring is better lucidity of gained values. New concept allows easier comparison new values with earlier measured data.
Controling system in the organization
Salák, Ondřej ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Žák, Jaromír (referee)
The aim of this work is to create a framework to classify internal controls due to the management level in which they appear, and to apply this framework to internal controls in a small organization. First, the reader is briefly introduced to the definition of control, types of control and the structure of control. Another part is a description of the established framework for the classification and subdivision of controls in terms of the levels of management. Each level of control is also clearly accompanied by the examples from the above documents. In the end, this system is applied to an organization that has almost no internal control system yet, and the framework of the controls at the individual levels is introduced.
Implementation of helpdesk solution for ticket management
Myslivec, Tomáš ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Žák, Jaromír (referee)
Master thesis deals with implementation of helpdesk solution provided by Kayako Fusion in medium-sized IT outsourcing company. The first part focus on analysis of existing application in technical department, together with an analysis of management and customers functional requirements. Subsequently, the helpdesk system is designed to fulfill the objectives of analysis. In the last part of the thesis you will find detailed description of procedure for implementation and customization of mentioned helpdesk application. The proposed solution is based partly on provision of IT services (ITIL), especially the area of Incident and Problem management. In conclusion you will find the statement indicating if the implementation of Kayako Fusion fulfilled the expectations of management, meet predetermined requirements and become suitable tool to support and carry out daily business processes.
IT outsourcing v praxi - případová studie
Myslivec, Oldřich ; Kubešová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Žák, Jaromír (referee)
Cílem této práce je analýza využívání IT outsourcingu v konkrétní firmě a následná optimalizace některých popisovaných procesů. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem IT outsourcingu. Jsou definovány jeho základní rysy včetně pozitiv a rizik vyplývajících z jeho zavedení, systematické dělení druhů outsourcingu a také jeho historické souvislosti s možným vývojem do budoucna. Praktická část se zabývá podrobnou analýzou vykonávaných aktivit a činností v rámci IT outsourcingu klienta. Práci uzavírá vlastní optimalizace možných oblastí jako je identifikace slabých a silných míst v poskytovaných službách, časového plánu, druhů úkolů, dokumentace, komunikace s vedením firmy.
