Design of mechanism for pronation and supination of the upper limb prostheses
Rebenda, David ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of of this work is to propose a mechanism for pronation and supination of the upper limb prosthesis and its subsequent implementation of functional prototype. The teoretical part summarizes the basic types of forearm amputation and the effect of restricting rotation of the forearm. It also describes the basic distribution of upper limb prostheses and drive types. Construction design includ complete technical documentation is made in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013 and Rhinoceros 5.0 SR8. The prototype is made of aluminium and ABS plastic.
Processing of high-strength aluminum alloy AlSi9Cu3 using selective laser melting technology
Suchý, Jan ; Hutař, Pavel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
Method selective laser melting can produce metal parts by using 3D printing. This diploma thesis deals with the influence of process parameters on the workability of AlSi9Cu3 high-strength aluminum alloy using selective laser melting. The theoretical part deals with relations between process parameters and identifies phenomena occurring during the processing of metals by this technology. It also deals with conventionally manufactured aluminum alloy AlSi9Cu3. In the work, material research is performed from single tracks tests, porosity tests with different process parameters and mechanical testing. Here are showing the trends of porosity change at scanning speed, laser power, individual laser stop distance, bulk energy, and powder quality. The workability of the material can be judged by the degree of relative density achieved. Simultaneously the values of the achieved mechanical properties of the selected process parameters are presented. The data obtained are analyzed and compared with literature.
Design of bio-incubator for cell culture transport
Machýček, David ; Maňas, Pavel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
In a research part, this diploma thesis deals with dividing incubators into groups according to their kind of use. From the groups biological incubators have been chosen to describe their construction, to explain possibilities of doing sampling and temperature and CO2 control. The research part is concluded by an overview of biological transport incubators for a transfer of cell cultures. In the part of the thesis which deals with a new construction solution some variations are suggested. The most suitable variation has been chosen after a structural technological description, and it is further described in a constructional solution. The frame of the incubator is made from aluminium alloy and is controlled by FEM. There are individual structural nodes being explained and visualised step by step in the construction solution. In the end of the construction solving some information about making the construction and prices of all continuing manufacture are stated.
Digitizing of exhaust piping
Janečka, Karel ; Koutný, Daniel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities and practical use of 3D scanning systems for engineering. The work includes the distribution of basic facilities for 3D digitizing, and their basic properties. The aim of this work is familiar with the procedure in reverse engineering, which is demonstrated on a specific example, the digitization of the exhaust pipe, using the 3D scanner Atos I and CAD system CATIA.
Optimalization and calculation of transition duct design
Havlíček, Tomáš ; Náhlík, Luboš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a methodic and a system, which would involve customized computing and consequent design of the transition duct using input and applied data effectively and would achieve optimized set of parameters. The methodic described in the thesis is applied on transition duct within air main ducting between the filter and gas turbine. Transition duct is a huge mounted assembly consisting of welded parts. NX 5 application was chosen as system environment of the thesis. Master model is a root for both design model and computing model. Weight and material optimization is a desired result which will serve as basis for designing. It is not the goal of this thesis to create one perfect computation model BUT to create a methodic, which would be manageable by any designer equipped by basic knowledge of engineering.
3D surfaces reconstruction of motorcycle body
Vašíková, Martina ; Čudek, Vladimír (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis based on the coputer programs and practical solving in the area of reverse engineering. This work contains the definition of concept of the reverse engineering; distributed digitalizing using the 3D scanning, mathematical description of curves and areas and summary of programs, which are destination for reverse engineering. The goal of this thesis is to form the 3D surface digitalized reconstruction the motorcycle body in Rhinoreverese program.
Design of the surgical preparation for facial implant osseointegration
Koukal, Ondřej ; Omasta, Milan (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and contstruction of a preparation for surgical introduction of osseointegration implant, of which function is fixing an epithesis in the orbit area. Computer Tomography data of a patient was provided as a basis for design work. The thesis also includes a research on osseointegration utilization in the introduction of facial epithesis.
Surface finishing of plastic parts
Ševčík, Igor ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is processing of theme surface finishing of plastic parts, specifically products of 3D printing made of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and consequent experimental execution of chosen methods. The thesis includes analysis of current knowledge, description of various procedures and possibilities of surface properties modification. The aim of treatment is to allow further processing of plastic objects, such as metal coating. Experiment accomplish-ments are listed and the effect of surface treatment is evaluated afterwards.
Utilization of light emitting diode for public lighting
Rozsypálek, Tomáš ; Zatočilová, Aneta (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and construct a prototype of public lighting using the LED technology. The first part of the thesis describes the history of public lighting. The second part of bachelor thesis deals with design concepts, selection of appropriate design, selection of purchased materials and parts, construction drawing of the chosen design, assembly and installation of light fitting and demonstration of the final prototype. The output of this work is a created prototype of light fitting for public lighting.
Large-Scale Robotic 3D Printing of Polymer Composites
Byly srovnány 4 metody, kombinující neplanární slicing a orientovaný 3D tisk, z pohledu kvality povrchu, obtížnosti zpracování a vystavitelnosti.
