Violence and aggression in healthcare professionals with a focus on workplace of acute psychiatric care

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to provide basic information on aggressiveness at selected workplaces of Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital. In the framework of this work, a questionnaire was submitted to 194 respondents performing general nurses or health care professions, acute care departments and subsequent psychiatric, anti-toxic and gerontopsychiatric care. The investigation took place during December 2016 and January 2017. The main results showed that respondents from PN Bohnice encounter high frequencies with aggressive patients, i.e. daily or weekly in 60% of cases. Most respondents (92%) encountered verbal and physical aggression. The most common kind of physical aggression is the destruction of property (52%), the assault of a health care professional (40%) and self-harm (39%). The most common type of aggressor is male (50%) and female (44%), less frequent visits and the patient's family (3%). For men, physical aggression is higher than for women by more than 13%. According to medical professionals, the most common cause of aggression is the disease (67%), fear and anxiety (32%), and the third is environment (27%). Physicians deal with conflicting situations most often by appointment (97%), and secondly in cooperation with other health workers, i.e. they call service (55%) or doctor (44%)....

Consistency of empirical corrections of the classical nucleation theory for nucleation in steam with nucleation experiments and molecular simulations

We compare experimental nucleation rates for water vapour in various carrier gases, nucleation rates deduced from empirical adjustments of the classical nucleation theory (CNT) earlier developed to reproduce pressure and optical data for condensing steam flows in converging-diverging nozzles and turbine stages, and ucleation rates obtained from molecular simulations. Results of original molecular dynamic simulations for TIP4P/2005 force field in the NVE conditions are provided. New experimental nucleation rate data sets are generated based on empirical CNT corrections by Valha and Nedbal (1980) and by Petr and Kolovratník (2011). Correction of the CNT for non-isothermal nucleation conditions is applied to experimental, simulated and the derived experimental data. The derived experimental\nnucleation rate data follow a similar temperature trend as the nucleation rate data for water vapour in carrier gases at lower temperatures. The ratio of observed nucleation rates to CNT predictions decreases more steeply with temperature than the empirical correction by Wölk et al. (2002). Ratios of nucleation rates computed from molecular simulations to CNT predictions do not show a significant temperature trend.

Mutual comparison of the appointment of judges in Czech Republic and on the basis of the merit system The diploma thesis deals with a comparison of the appointment of judges in the Czech Republic and an appointment of judges based on merit system. The aim is to describe in detail both systems and determine whether the application of the principles of a model example of the appointment of judges based on merit systemis possible to apply in the Czech Republic. In the first chapter I set the basic assumptions of a judge that any judge should meet. Using these assumptions I also compare both systems the appointment of judges. The ideal system for appointing judges, in my opinion, should be set so that on its basis were appointed judges who are independent and impartial, accountable, trustworthy, intelligent and have the necessary experience and moral assumptions. The second chapter is devoted to the current system of appointment of judges in the Czech Republic, where I describe the current legislation and appointment of judges that deal with the process that precedes the appointment of judges by the President. Termodynamická analýza procesů v palivových článcích s pevnými oxidy

The fuel cells are the technology of the future. Although their discovery dates back to the 19th century the nature of how they work hasnt been adequately explained so far. This thesis focuses on description of solid oxides fuel cells (SOFC) for which ion conductive electrolyte and high operating temperature are distinctive. The mathematical model of SOFC developed in this thesis is formulated in terms of the mixture theory. The model development was constrained and simplified by isothermality, time-stationery and 1D approximation. The model equations characterize gas and ion transport and electric current flow in the fuel cell. Eventually comparison of the thesis model equations with the SOEC (solid oxides electrolysis cell) model developed at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague showed that both approaches lead to a similar conclusion. Marketing strategy of the company 3M in social media

Diploma thesis focus on social media as a phenomenon of modern times and their use in a marketing. I will introduce four most frequently used social media - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube as well as an outline the possibility of their use in marketing. Marketing strategy in social media I decided to introduce through a concrete example - an international company 3M. This company I chose mainly because it operates in the market of industrial products, where online marketing is not as much used and also because it cooperates with University of Economics. After introducing the basic marketing theories and explanations of basic terms I will analyze an existing 3M marketing strategy in social media and on the basis of the analysis and obtained data I will suggest my own possible marketing strategy for the company 3M, which connects all the aforementioned social media.

The history of industrial accidents with hazardous materials in today's Czech Republic

This thesis is divided into two main parts. The first theoretical part includes for example the introduction to valid legal regulations concerning chemical accidents. The second part includes the obtained results, which are presented in two separate subchapters. The first charter is about the most serious accidents. In less serious accidents such a loss of human life have been eliminated. This part is divided into two categories: industrial accidents that occurred up to 2000 and accidents after 2000. This thesis includes also a tabular overview of some industrial accidents.

Resources Optimization of Non-profit Organizations

The thesis reviews present financing of professional social centres in Jihomoravský kraj with regard to the law no. 108/2006 Sb. It evaluates the possibilities of EU, ministerial and public financing of the organizations providing services specified by the communal plan of South Moravian region. Proposals for efficient supervision of such organizations are put forward, with emphasis on the importance of the provided services as well as their quality.
