Race Car Suspension, Springing, Damping
Šťastný, Jan ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor project is overview of suspension, springing and damping methods structural design in racing car. Attention is payed especially to automotive races which are under sponsorship of ACR (Autoclub of Czech Republic). Firstly is placed issue which notify main sort and princip of suspension, springing and damping function. In the next chapter is summary of technological restrictions and prescripts for racing car structural design. Next chapter refers about the most used types of structural designs for given competition. The last chapter considers development trend of suspension, springing and damping systems in racing cars.
Company performance evaluation using EFQM Excellence Model
Šťastný, Jan ; Ing.Eliška Adamíková (referee) ; Kocmanová, Alena (advisor)
The master´s thesis analyzes the performance of company Řetězárna Ltd. by using the Model START, which is based on the EFQM Excellence Model principle. The first part is devoted to the theoretical description of performance measurement. The second part of the master´s thesis deals with the application of these theoretical findings in practice, in the form of an analysis according to the Model START. In the last part of the master´s thesis, according to the results of the analytical part, are proposed new possible improvements to increase the performance of Řetězárna Ltd.

Teoretical part of the the thesis includes professional terms about individual technology, it´s exploitation and knowledge of the competition in each sector. In the practical part I am dealing of market analysis and analysation of prosperity technology in area economy and science.
Creation During the Engagement by Focusing on the Preparation of Technical Documentation
Slaměník, Adam ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The main goal of bachelor thesis is analysis of order processing with focus on technical documentation. Thesis contains suggestions for optimization of processes which are crucial for the correct order processing in Pro Sand Engineering s.r.o. company. Company is a vendor of graveling making machines. Based on analysis results, the suggestions for manufacturing process optimization are formulated.
Seasonal dynamics and winter survival mechanisms of Conjugatophyceae (Zygnnematophycaea)
Čížek, Tomáš ; Pichrtová, Martina (advisor) ; Šťastný, Jan (referee)
This paper summarizes the knowledge on seasonal dynamics of selected genera of Zygnematophyceae. During the year, organisms are exposed to different conditions, especially in winter they have to withstand increased stress. The seasonal changes of conditions is reflected by species composition, total algal biomass and occurrence of different life cycle stages. This work focuses on the mechanisms that different species of Zygnematophyceae use to survive cold and frost stresses. These mechanisms include the formation of specialized cells - zygospores, survival in modified vegetative stages and avoidance strategies. Their occurrence varies with latitude and altitude. The seasonality of individual species may play a role in biomonitoring. Keywords: biomonitoring, pre-akinetes, seasonality, stress adaptation, Zygnematophyceae, zygospore
Structural changes in the support phase of the step under the influence of increasing load using pressure shoe insole
Krejčí, Tomáš ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Korvas, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the structural changes in the support phase of the step under the influence of increasing load. The measurements are provided by the "Medilogic WLAN insole" system, which can be used to perform static and dynamic pressure measurements on the feet using pressure sensors. In the theoretical part, information concerning the development of the lower limb, especially the leg and foot, and their anatomical structure is described. The biomechanics of gait is also described, including the main phases of the gait cycle. In the practical part of the thesis, the measurement methodology is described, including the instrument setup and the aids used during the measurements. Furthermore, the data processing procedure and its final analysis are presented.
The influence of specific training on the development of muscle strength of legs
Nepožitek, Jan ; Bátorová, Michaela (referee) ; Šťastný, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of isokinetic dynamometry for the analysis of the effect of specific training. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis described isokinetics, history and types of muscle activities. There is also a proposal for a specific training, which the experimental group followed over the course of two months. Part of the work is to determine the measurement methodology on an isokinetics dynamometer, in which the experimental and control groups were measured before and after specific training. As part of the dynamometric testing, the muscular strength of the lower limbs in the knee joint was measured, in which the quadriceps and hind muscles were the most involved. The assumpiton was that experimental group would have an increase in muscle strength after completing a specific training. The measured values were processed in the Matlab software environment, thanks to which the individual signals and the maximum values of individual measurements were plotted. The measured values were statistically processed and evaluated using non-parametric tests. It was found that specific training had a partial effect on the development of muscle strength in the lower limbs.
Swimming analysis using a SwIMU measuring device
Láznička, Jakub ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Bátorová, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the inertial sensor for measuring swimmers. The work contains a description of the possibility of performing swimming performance analyzes. In the practical part, a pilot measurement was performed and a detailed manual was created containing a description of accessories, the measurement process and the methodology of subsequent evaluation. An external database in MS Excel was created to compare the evaluated measurements, used to sort data with the possibility of statistical processing.
Diversity of the Micrasterias papillifera / M. radiosa (Desmidiales) species complex
Trumhová, Kateřina ; Šťastný, Jan (advisor) ; Mareš, Jan (referee)
This Master's thesis deals with diversity within the Micrasterias papillifera/ M. radiosa (Desmidiales) species complex. Both species are inhabitants of endangered biotops, like peat-bogs and, like other desmids, are used for biomonitoring. Many described varieties for both of them can be found in taxonomic literature, but their morphology is overlapping and revision of this species complex seemed to be necessary. All strains were isolated from peat-bogs and lakes across Europe and my dataset was properly completed by strains from algal collections. Results of phylogenetic analysis of sequences for ITS and psaA showed, that the real intraspecific diversity of Micrasterias papillifera Brébisson ex Ralfs was overestimated. Although I could find a little intraspecific diversity within the ‚papillifera' lineage in the phylogenetic tree based on ITS sequences, it did not correspond with a morphology of isolates. M. papillifera possess unexpected morphological plasticity and also some isolates designated as Micrasterias radiosa Ralfs were present in this lineage. On the contrary, there were only a few isolates in the lineage ‚radiosa'. This species seems to be relatively rare and probably has limited distribution. Both species are morphologically well delimited from each other on the basis of several characters...
