Laboraty Pulse Power Supply Using Output Linear Stabilization
Lednický, Marek ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with switched mode power supplies. The theoretic part of the thesis consists of historical development and the elementary schemes of switched mode power supplies. It also includes the comparing with linear regulators. Next, it contains the description of individuals parts switched mode power supplies as a rectifiers, power supplies and stabilizers. There is a proposal and fixing of laboratory pulse power supply using output linear stabilization in the practical part of the paper.
PH controller for aquarium
Dvořák, Jan ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the system which is designed as a pH regulator for aquarium water. The first and second chapter are aims to the basic requirements and possibilities on controlling of the potential of hydrogen in water. Main methods of the pH measuring, its controlling and regulation are included. The third chapter presents a design of the pH regulator system. The practical and software solution of this project is presented in the fourth and fifth chapter. There are described in detail the main blocks of the pH regulator - amplifier, galvanic isolator and output power stage. The results of the testing and measuring of the designed subsystems are introduced in the last part of the work.

Step-up DC/DC converter controlled by microcontroller
Horák, Lukáš ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The content of the bachelor’s thesis is the remaking of increasing DC/DC converter from analog to digital management for the company RADAN s.r.o. This project includes a comparison of the two switching power supplies and their ability to control, change the original analog sources to part controlled by a microcontroller.
Multichannel RF power meter
Hradňanský, Vladimír ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
In this work is an analysis of methods for measuring high-frequency power, then the design and implementation of multi-channel processor controlled high-frequency power meter. The device enables communication via USB or RS232 port, correction and calibration calculations stored on the SD card devices, measurement results displayed on the LCD display. The meter is able to of three different probes measure the performance of up to 8 GHz. Built-in 40 dB attenuator allows measurements up to a frequency of 2.5 GHz with power up to 100 W. A complete functional test tool including three types of probes, measuring unit, and software are the results of this work.
Control and position sensor of small antenna rotor
Tribula, David ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Kasal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is dealing with the activities of antenna rotators operating on the principle selsyn and the ability to control its location using two buttons. Then the scanning angle using magnetic encoder and system overview display angle rotator. It indicates a complete software solution.
RC car model
Veverka, Vítězslav ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was an analysis of possibilities and requirements for driving systems of vehicle model. In the thesis, available undercarriages, which are suitable for an implementation of driving system, were presented. Furthermore, the study of the interface for the regulator and possibility to use a microcontroller in the driving system, were necessary. The wireless communication between transmitting part and microcontroller was tested just as controlling of an engine speed. The programme for driving of the model in PC was designed and tested by using C language. General behaviour of the model was tested. The response to control and achieved driving precision was tested too. In the end, assistant sensors for collision detection were added to the model.
Laboratory waveform generator based on DDS
Kret, Tomáš ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The project concerns about design of function generator based on direct digital synthesis, its software and hardware realisation. It solves generating functions depended on time like sine, triangle and square with variable duty cycle, burst and other functions of frequency sweep, FM and PWM modulation. Next goal is to display user interface on graphic LCD display and to control microcontroler pheripheries of AVR.
Radar Signals with Pulse Compression Analysis in Matlab
Trnčíková, Veronika ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to pulse modulation influence to the ambiguity function. The ambiguity function indicates the resolution of the system in range and Doppler frequency. The thesis contains the general introduction of radiolocation basis, individual modulations and the solution in MATLAB environment utilizing spare matrix principles. Graphs of ambiguity function for individual modulations created in MATLAB environment are included in the text.
