Analysis of indoor climate and design of heating system in the church of Holy Name of Jesus in Telc
Kovaľová, Silvia ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Horká, Lucie (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is to analyze the microclimate and to assess and design a heating system in Jesuit Church of Holy Name of Jesus in Telc. The theoretical part describes methods of analysis of the microclimate, presents examples of analysis described in scientific articles and provides basic classification of thermometers and hygrometers. The second part includes analysis of the microclimate of the church based on data measured during the observed period. Further, it contains an assessment of the current heating system and a design of an alternative solution of the heating system. The third part, which includes drawings, processes the alternative solution of the heating system and also provides a functional scheme of the actual heating system with the engineering report.
Simulation of the pedestrian evacuation from the school facility
Tesař, Martin ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on basic principles of soft targets security and on threats aimed at them. Part of this thesis is about the process of an evacuation movement modeling from a grammar school building, specifically the grammar school in Brno-Řečkovice. The model of the building has been created in the Revit program and the simulation of the movement in the Pathfinder program, which is based on agent simulation technologies. As for the methodology, the thesis is a comparison of the evacuation processes under different conditions.
Microscopic traffic simulation in urban areas
Bátora, Filip ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The main goal of my bachelor's thesis is to provide a theoretical insight on the topic of traffic modelling, as well as finding a practical solution to a specified issue. I will use the Aimsun software to create a microscopic model of a traffic junction using two different modes of traffic light signals. With the help of various methodical directions, I will provide an economical evaluation and comparation of the overall junction travel time.
Pedestrian modelling during sport events outside of the stadium
Zelinka, Petr ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with modeling the movement of people around the new Brno sports stadium after the end of the match. The process of modeling the movement of people was done in Pathfinder. The output is an analysis of the current risks associated with the quality of the transport, the determination of the time to exits, the comparison between different variants and attendance.
Pedestrian modelling inside the football stadium
Foldyna, David ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to plot basic principles of crowd mechanisms and static and dynamic attributes of pedestrians. Further analyzing the possibilites of using computer agent models for crowd simulations and its application for pedestrian movement in the interior of football stadium, assessment of different variations of population of the stadium and statistic analysis of the results.
Microscopic traffic modelling in urban areas
Brožek, Jan ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a traffic modeling from theoretical and practical per-spectives. Microscopic traffic models for various circumstances were created in the Aimsun software and then they were compared with each other.
Night Cooling in Condition of Czech Republic
Šíma, Jiří ; Katunský,, Dušan (referee) ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Šikula, Ondřej (advisor)
The PhD thesis deals with the theoretical evaluation of the potential use of night cooling techniques in condition of the Czech Republic. Mainly aims to evaluate the potential of night cooling, which uses the physical phenomenon of radiation against the night sky. This technique is widely used mainly in the dry and hot regions where there are the most suitable climatic conditions for this cooling method. The work is based on the current state of knowledge in the area of passive and low-energy cooling systems. These knowledges are applied to the conditions of Czech Republic and by using simulations of the energy, behaviour of the buildings explores the benefits in terms of improving of the internal microclimate and from the perspective of economy operation of conventional cooling equipment. In order to establish the benefits of night cooling on the operation of the building in the dynamically changing conditions, the modular simulation program TRNSYS was used, which is suitable for the analysis of energy systems of buildings and their behaviour. The results of simulation results were converted to thermal comfort parameters of the PMV and the PPD.
Sensitivity analysis of the energy rating of buildings
Auer, Zbyněk ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Šikula, Ondřej (advisor)
The master´s thesis was focused on parametric computer simulations of the energy performance of buildings. The aim is to determine the sensitivity of the individual operating and climatic influences on the final energy demand of the building, which will be reflected in final form Et-curve. Parametric simulation for building energy efficiency is planned to use the BSim and ready climatic database for a specific location in place of the assessed building. The outcome of the evaluation of the real use of property in Et-curve using a custom application.
Heat recovery in Building Services
Hrabová, Kristýna ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Šikula, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the optimization of sewer heat recovery. For proper design and optimization it is necessary to use three basic methods: diagnostics, heat balance calculations and modeling. In 2D software Area Calculation are simulated different types of sewer exchangers arranged in sewer pipes. Using models of software CalA and simulations will be selected optimal variant. Using software BSim, which is based on more zone numerical simulation of the energy needs of buildings in relation to indoor climate, are detected heat needs of an office building. The optimal number of sewer exchanger is designed from the identified performance heat exchangers and supplies heat for the building.
Analysis of Ceiling Heating
Carbol, Ladislav ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with analysis of radiant ceiling heating in VUT dormitories. The work contains a theoretical analysis of radiant and convection heat transmission of ceiling heating. Part of this work is creation of mathematical model for evaluation of variables typical for radiant ceiling heating. Model outposts are compared with data measured on a real building.
