Nekonvenční způsoby produkce ropy a zemního plynu a jejich vliv na mezinárodní obchod
Černý, Martin ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Baláž, Peter (referee)
The growing world population accompanied by an increase in GDP is effectively raising the demand for energy. One of the options are unconventional means of oil and gas, originating mainly from shales and oil sands. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the reader to unconventional means and their influence on international business. After a short introduction and definition an analysis of the situation in the U.S. follows, where the recent years have brought an increase in production from unconventional sources. The positive influence on the economy, employment and energetic security will be mentioned same as possible impacts on the environment. Furthermore the paper provides an analysis of the potential of repeating the U.S. shale revolution in other countries, with special focus on the EU. The success of unconventional sources opens the possibility of new trade routes, influence on the trade balance and the potential of influencing the whole gas market. However, it will also have an impact on current oil and gas producers. Considering the close bond between energetic security and politics, the thesis closes with an analysis of influences on the economy and politics of both -- current oil and gas producers and countries, which might be directly and indirectly affected by changes in the oil and gas market.
Optimalizace struktury výroby a její dopady na vybrané činnosti firmy Granit spol. s r. o.
Černý, Martin
Černý, M. Optimization plan of production and its effects on selected activities of company Granit spol. s r. o. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University In Brno, 2015. The subject of this diploma thesis is to find the optimal plan of production of the company Granit spol. s r.o. using linear programming and subsequently finding the impact of introducing an optimized production structure on finance, ac-counting and marketing activities. For these purposes is created mathematical model, which is solved by Lindo program. Impacts on selected activities are ex-amined through changes in the values of financial indicators, balance sheet items and the ability to meet customers demand.
Electronic banking as a strategic advantage
Černý, Martin ; Matuštík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Lyčková, Taťána (referee)
This thesis is a comparative efficiency study of implementation of payment operations via electronic banking and bank branch network. The thesis used data of specific international bank operating in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with basic products, payment systems, describe the main forms of electronic banking and part is devoted to the economic benefits of electronic banking for the bank and for the client. The practical part consists of a cost analysis of payment operations realized via by electronic banking and bank branches. In conclusion of this thesis, these costs are compared and the result is a proposed new bank strategy.
European souvereign-debt crisis
Černý, Martin ; Bič, Josef (advisor) ; Vrňáková, Irena (referee)
This thesis deals with the impats of the european souvereign-debt crisis. Furthermore it analysis the causes - from the global point of view as well as with regard to single countries. In addition measures to stop the crisis to spread are evaluated. Moreover future scenarios are presented.
Evaluation of properties of pyrolysed resins
Halasová, M. ; Chlup, Zdeněk ; Strachota, Adam ; Černý, Martin ; Dlouhý, Ivo
The presented work describes mechanical properties of materials prepared by pyrolysis of polysiloxane resins. The polymeric precursors had different chemical composition. Materials under investigation are predetermined as a matrix for high temperature resistant long fibre composites. An instrumented hardness tester was employed for materials characterisation. The Vickers hardness, Martens hardness and indentation elastic modulus were the key parameters determined from the load-indentation depth curves. Influence of the mechanical properties on the ratio of T and D was established. Indents were observed by using confocal laser microscope.
Changes and development of digital video
Černý, Martin ; Čermák, Radim (advisor) ; Lisý, Martin (referee)
Final thesis deals with changes and development of digital video from the perspective of ordinary users. The aim is to describe how the amateur technology is getting closer to the professional video processing. This will be achieved by a description of the historical development of digital media and a comparison of amateur and professional technology. The part of thesis also deals with prerequisites for this development, which is the new camcorders, more high-efficiency computers, amateur editing programs and new approaches to video compression. The text provides a brief introduction to the topic of digital video, an overview of current technologies and asks questions about what the implications of this change are and what those changes could mean for the future.
Strength, elasticity, and fracture of composites with pyrolysed matrices based on methylsiloxane resins with optimized ratio of “T” and “D” components
Černý, Martin ; Žaloudková, Margit ; Glogar, Petr ; Sucharda, Zbyněk ; Strachota, Adam ; Chlup, Zdeněk
The investigated composites reinforced with Nextel720 fibers reveal acceptable mechanical properties for applications exposed to temperature up to 1300 °C. Mechanical properties were studied after three-hour exposition at 1300, 1400 and 1500 °C without a protective atmosphere. This temperature treatment increases the mechanical strength up to 15 %.
Mechanické chování kompozitů na bázi aramidových vláken a polysiloxanové matrice modifikované bioaktivními nano/mikro částicemi
Sochor, M. ; Balík, Karel ; Suchý, Tomáš ; Sucharda, Zbyněk ; Černý, Martin
This study is aimed at verification of influence of hydroxyapatite/tri-calcium phosphate nano/micro particles additives, commonly used to improve the bioactivity of implants, on mechanical properties of composite material consisting of polyamide fabrics embedded in poly (dimethyl siloxane) matrix potentially applicable in the bone surgery.
