Brno - damlake
Švantnerová, Jana ; Žalmanová,, Petra (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a project for a wharf in Brno-Bystrc on the Brno Dam. The space comprises a pier and single-story buildings, specifically, a restaurant, which is open year-round and a building which provides services for visitors: refreshments, public toilets, ticket sales, and facilities for employees. All elements, including access roads and paved areas, are integrated into a U-shaped area which opens onto the dam lake. A substantial difference in height between the access road and the marina allows visitors to enjoy the scenic view as they use the walkway connecting the roofs of the buildings. The same height difference also allows the staircase to function as seating for viewers of seasonal activities taking place on the square below. The urban planning and architectural design take into account the year-round popularity of the area. Both the outer and inner spaces attempt to comply with the requirements that are placed on this space in the organization of social activities such as viewing fireworks or public appearances. The design is also sensitive to visitors of all ages, tourists, cyclists, passengers, or in the winter season, skaters and skiers.

Simonova, Hanna ; Žalmanová, Petra (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The main theme of the diploma is the design of a new Roman Catholic church and parish within the framework of the construction of a panel residential complex in Nový Líšeň in Brno. Due to the fact that Salesian children and youth workers came to the area in 1990, it became necessary to build a church and a Salesian youth center. This proposal is based on an analysis of the urban context. The church is surrounded by prefabricated houses next to a school, a health clinic, a shopping center, and a Salesian youth center in a gently sloping area facing south with the dominant Palava hills.

This bachelor thesis is based on the studio project of the subject Interior. It develops architectural study of the church of the Blessed Mary Restituta situated in Brno in district Brno-Lesná. The building is the extension of the current Spiritual Center, where the Catholic religious services were held so far, but its capacity is no longer sufficient. Building land is gently sloping character, is positioned in the housing estate, close to the tram loop Čertova Rokle. The entire extension consists of two structural units, the first is expansion space of the current Spiritual Center in its own original cubic mass, and the second is church building, designed as a separate structure that follows the extended part of the Spiritual Center. All three parts, the current Spiritual Center, its expansion and new construction of the church are directly connected to a long corridor, which branch out in the area of a new cubic expansion of the original mass and connects to the mass of the nave in two locations with facilities necessary for the operation of the church. All areas are mostly two-storey. Over part of the nave is second floor space with gallery, under the current Spiritual Center is the ground floor with underground garage and technical facilities. In the new expansion of the Spiritual Center is a building only single-storey. The supporting structure of the church is a reinforced concrete wall system, supporting system of the roof structure is made up of solid glulam timber truss. The supporting structure of the extension of the original cubic mass, where the church facilities is located, is designed as a wall system of Ytong blocks. The supporting part of the roof structure is made up of panels Spiroll. Pruchová, Patricie ; Ing. arch. Petra Žalmanová, Ph.D (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The subject of this work is the restoration of the chateau and the manor house in Vážany nad Litavou. This building is located in the center of the southern part of the village of Vážany nad Litavou, on the main street of this southern part of the village. The building is a corner building that takes on quite a bit of dominance through its subdivisions. The building is not a cultural monument, but as part of this work we try to treat the building as if it were a cultural monument. The building dates back to the 1880s. The building includes a shed, which is probably added later. When inspecting the building, it is clear that the construction went through several different periods of time. It’s obvious with the hole filler, especially the windows. The aim of my design is to restore the vividness of the building, to force not only the locals to visit beautiful vaults and to restore the dominant object.

Specifies the appearance of the stadium facade with a regular deployment transparent concrete columns, which allows around to see what is happening in the stadium and at the same time provides interesting views.
Kindergarten FUTURUM
Csöbönyei, Thelma ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor thesis follows up on a studio project created in the summer semester of the 3rd year of my bachelor´s study. The aim of the project was to design a new kindergarten in the Brno-střed district. The kindergarten has two departments, both with a capacity for 24 children. The plot is located in the northeast of Havlíčkova Street. The terrain is significantly sloping. The large slope on the side of Havlíčkova Street is overcome by a huge ramp, which will also serve as an educational trail and a pleasant arrival every day before kindergarten. Between the ramp and the kindergarten there is a garden for children to play. The slope on the other side of the plot is used for a smooth entrance to the first underground floor from the grammar school side. The kindergarten building has a square shape and one above-ground floor, where the kindergarten management and the main part of the operation are located. The building is single-story with partial basement. In the basement there are the technical facilities, facilities for food preparation and staff. On the northwest side of the building, two classes are symmetrically spread out with a shared cloakroom in the middle. The building´s façade has wooden cladding, which is cut around the openings so that they look playful by creating geometric shapes. The main intention was to create a pleasant environment for children, to which they will be happy to return every day.
Community Centre / Brno - Zabrdovice
Alemkhanova, Karina ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The area is located in the city of Brno-Zábrdovice, which is directly adjacent to the historical center of Brno. This is a corner plot to cross Milady Horakove and Prikop. The architectural design responds to the diversity and height of the surrounding buildings, as well as the proximity of the historic center. The idea of a cube - a simple shape that interacts with the surrounding building and brings order to the space, a simple solution to the concept of matter. It is a three and four-storey building with one underground floor. The cube is divided on the first floor into two entrance buildings. The first building is the main entrance to the Community Center and the café, and the second is the retail space kept as a bookstore. The entrances to the first floor, which is designed mainly for pedestrians, located in the courtyard entrance and the entire southeast wall of the café with showcases go in line with the pavement that is along Mylady Horákové Street. The next floors have a dynamic and tiered shape with a predominant function for cultural, educational, educational and commercial activities, galleries and gathering space. Due to its scale, the mass of the building itself is divided into two parts by means of a suspended facade from a U-profile over three floors. The facade of the building dynamically alternates with its rhythm and with playful compositional elements it accentuates the mass of the house or, on the contrary, relaxes and relieves it in places.
