Implementation and analysis of control circuits in MATLAB/Simulink
Hanuš, Tomáš ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on comparing the characteristics of the most common types of controllers. This comparison is done in MATLAB / Simulink to model the DC motor. First, in the thesis, theoretical description of all structures controllers that are tested. This is specifically the PID controllers, PSD, PI-D, PS-D, S-PD, I-PD, PID filtering of derivative and PSD also with this filtration. Then there is the function given the DC motor and its mathematical description. In the last section of the theoretical part describes the different methods of setting regulators. In conclusion, this thesis compares the structure of individual regulators. There are the results. A comparison of their behavior with position control of DC motor.
Methodology and processing of unknown BLDC motor measurement
Holoubek, David ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on methodology and measurement of BLDC motors. The first section provides a division of electric motors, their construction and principles of operation. The second part describes an overview of BLDC motors, use in applications and list of selected motors from the Maxon Motor AG company. At the end is methodology and implementation of measurement of BLDC motor BOYANG BY92BL48-4000-2200.
Application of Thermoelectric Module for Temperature Control
Gofroň, Vojtěch ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the possibilities of use thermoelectric modules for temperature control in a temperature chamber. In the theoretical part are shown physical principles of thermoelectric cooling, heating and power generation. The main part regarding thermoelectric modules describes its design, use and important parameters for temperature control. The next chapter is focused on measuring of quantities important for temperature control using thermoelectric modules. The last part describes few proposals of a temperature chamber design.
Design of control production unit with product dimension verification
Janoušek, Roman ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis solves the issue of design of control system for production line with machine vision to obtain the position and size of products. Part of the line is a digital camera, a delta robot and pneumatic manipulators. The introduction outlines the objectives of the thesis, followed by a discussion of sorting lines, including an example of a sorting line in practice. The main part of the thesis lies in the analysis and solution of problems relating to the machine vision and its use on the production line as well as its integration into the control system. The result of this work is a control system for management of the line and functional positioning and dimensions checking of the product passing through the production line. The conclusion of the thesis reviews the outcomes of the thesis.
Control modernization of two-axis manipulator
Mejzlík, Jiří ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis addresses the modernization of two-axis manipulator that is a part of the galvanizing line. The introductory section describes and evaluates the current situation and specifies the requirements for the device modernization. The selection of the proposed control is based on the analysis of possible solutions which are described in this work. The next part deals with the selection of suitable components and describes the process of implementation.
Position control of cross-table dedicated manufacturing machine
Plocek, Jaroslav ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis treats the drive solution of the two axis cross-table of a single-purpose manufacturing machine. The first chapter analyzes the concept of drives and compares different variants using either a direct linear drive or a ball screw with a rotary servo drive. The thesis further deals with sizing the motor and the power unit assembly and the description of the whole measuring system. The structure of cascading position controller, its description and the calculation of current and speed control loops is covered in the next part. The last section discusses practical settings of all control parameters.
Control system design for robotic manipulator
Křivánek, Štěpán ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to design and realize software for controlling planar robotic manipulator “Mini-swing”. At the beginning, thesis describes general issues of this problem. Research part deals with dividing manipulators in groups by their kinematic configuration. Next part merely outlines usage of National Instruments module “Robotics”. “Mini-swing” manipulator and its kinematic are described in the following part. Design and realization of software for controlling Mini-swing’s ending effector are parsed in next part and at the very end of thesis you can find summarization of accomplished results.
Design and implementation of a universal data logger
Vokál, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is to design universal datalogger while using .NET Micro Framewrok. The design was tested on a developing kit EMX produced by GHI Electronics. At the beginning a problematic of .NET Micro Framework is introduced to a reader. After that architecture of project and mechanism of controlling device are described.
Control of three-axis Cartesian manipulator
Drha, Štěpán ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the proposal and realisation of the control system of the universal Cartesian manipulator. The aim of the thesis is to create a functional control system of the manipulator with the usage of available hardware and software modules. The introduction of the work summarizes general issues of the Cartesian manipulators controlling. The following chapter occupies with the selection of the individual software and hardware modules of the control system. Based on these modules, the control system of the manipulator is designed and realised. The conclusion of the work evaluates the results and it proposes possible improvements for this application.
Sensor and control system design for temperature chamber
Kalachová, Alena ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes the design of sensors and control temperature chamber with a working range of -20 to 100 ° C for testing the operation of electronics with the required accuracy of ± 2 ° C. As an actuator for heating and cooling chamber was selected Peltier. Suitable temperature and humidity sensors were designed according to requirements.
