Analysis of concentrated windings of PMSM
Menoušek, Lukáš ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design, principles of permanent magnet synchronous machines and an analysis of their properties. As part of the work is done familiarization with the materials of permanent magnets and their arrangement, as well as construction of the engine where they are discussed types of winding machine configuration, types of motors with permanent magnets and the list of implemented solutions. In the next part of this work is performed analytical calculation of the two types of engines, with concentrated winding, created models based on calculations in FEMM focusing on the creation of spatial harmonics. Further the model in RMxprt and data from the simulations were compared with analytical computation. Finally the model was created in Maxwell and compared with the analytical results of calculation and simulation in RMxprt program. For this model was created analysis of losses in permanent magnets.
Eccentricity and broken rotor bars of induction motor
Magic, Matej ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
Thesis presents the possibilities of diagnostics of induction motor using vibration measurements. Basis of the work is monitoring of vibration changes in case of eccentricity and interruption of rotor bars in induction motor. One part of the thesis is the measurement and processing of measured data from damaged motors. The result should be comparison between processed data, reference induction machine and computer simulation of motor.
Three-phase induction machine fed by frequency inverter
Fiala, Zbyněk ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis analyses losses in the three phase induction motor with a focus on iron losses. In the first instance the three phase induction motor and the losses in it are described. The analytical calculation and the simulations in the RMXprt software are performed. The measurements were made with a different frequency (40, 50, 60Hz) and behaviour of supply voltage on a motor TM90-2S by EMP Slavkov. In conclusion the results of calculation, simulation and measurements are compared.
In the next section of this paper is an analysis of the properties of selected types of concentrated winding with a focus on the emergence of harmonics. These data are compared with the model of the engine in the FEMM. Furthermore, a comparison of the calculations of these types of engines and their simulation in RMxprt.
Design of permanent magnet synchronous machine
Blaha, Jan ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
Nowadays in the area of drives, classical direct current machines are replaced for reason of low efficiency and low service life their frictional part by synchronous permanent magnet machines, among that belongs brushless or electronically commutated machines. This machines provide benefits of fine and effective regulation with no limits incurrenced by mechanical parts. Within this work, introduction with properties and construction of various types synchronous machines witch permanent magnets are performed, further the analytical calculation of design are made with effort to the best configuration for requisite characteristics. This design is compared with simulation made by computer technique and in the next step modifications of individual parts and choosen parameters for maximizing efficiency and minimizing volume are made. Comparison of success changes in design is made by simulation in program RMXprt again and the final machine is compared with original design, benefits of changes within efficiency and with considering of quantity used material are evaluated and his charakteristics are checked by Finite Element Method.
Design and analysis of single-phase induction machine
Souček, Jiří ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design issues of single-phase induction motors. The content is divided into several basic parts. The first chapter deals with the principle function of single-phase induction motors. In particular, the asymmetry of these machines discussed with regard to the importance of connecting the auxiliary stage and its character. The following part is devoted to the analytical calculation of specific single-phase two-pole motor. I analyzed two-pole motor because at that time there were not available data for six-pole motor from Siemens. The calculation is performed according to the literature, and the resulting parameters are then compared with the model of this motor created by RMxprt. There is model of six-pole induction motor created by Ansoft/Maxwell in third part. This model shows the influence of skew of the rotor slots on the torque of machine. Then I performed measurement of this motor and analyzed of results in the last part.
Rotor fault diagnosis of induction motors
Bednařík, Václav ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focus on the faults of induction motors. In general terms to mechanical and electirc faults and their influence on induction motor. Further on the tests, that are conducted on induction motors to detect faults and states that precede them. Main part is devoted to rotor eccentricity and broken rotor bars. Eccentricity is solved within theoretical analysis and measurements on free damaged motors. As well as broken rotor bars, which are supplemented by measurements on three damaged rotors. There are two types of eccentricity, static and dynamic. Faults of broken rotor bars is solved in terms of postion of broken rotor bars and their number.
Design of high speed induction motor 350kW, 40000r.p.m.
Karásek, Ladislav ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of the high-speed electrical machines. In the introduction summary of the high-speed machines are discussed. Induction machine with squirrel cage winding and solid rotor is chosen as suitable solution for given requirements. The multiple types of designs of the induction machines with solid rotor and problematic areas are discussed. Main part of this thesis is an electromagnetic design of the machine with respect to mechanical stress. The designed machine is analyzed with the use of finite element method in ANSYS Mechanical and Maxwell software.
Design of permanent magnet synchronous motor
Pavláček, Jan ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis is bent proposal synchronic motor with permanent magnets. Here are described characteristic synchronic motors, permanent magnets and possibilites construction. This thesis is sorted from common description, feature and principle function. Here are also mentioned benefits and disadvantages synchronic motors with permanent magnets. Main volume of work is proposal synchronic motor with various modifications. Proposal is realized in program Ansys Maxwell (modulus RMxpert). Aim those work are various modification synchronic motor and his analysis.
Simulation of small single-phase transformer
Nevřivý, Tomáš ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the complex design of single-phase transformer for low power transfer. The basis of the work is procedure of design referred to standardized tables together with the analytical calculation of all transformer parameters. The calculated parameters are verified using by finite element method in the environment of the program FEMM. Analytical calculation is verified by simulation in stationary and quasistationary magnetic field. The conclusion of the work is supplemented by measurement of the transformer, which according to the calculated parameters was made by company of ELEKTROKOV, Inc.
