Switched laboratory power source
Divílek, Petr ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The main aim of this work is to provide an overall summary of the problem of switched power supply. The stepwise description of the circuit components and their functions explains the way how the switching power supplies work. Bachelor thesis is focused on description, simulation and design of switching power supply powered by current PC of the ATX resource, where 12 V is used.
Partial Discharge in High Frequency Electronic Equipment
Havlíček, Tomáš ; Maschke, Jan (referee) ; Dřímal,, Jiří (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The presented thesis is focused on knowledge extension in the area of partial discharge measurements and evaluation at frequencies higher than 1 kHz. The thesis includes the design and set up of the measuring workplace equipped for measuring partial discharges, including the methodology of the measuring and calibration procedures necessary for the achievement of reproducible results. Another part of the thesis deals with the technology of acoustical and electromagnetic sensors convenient for the diagnostics and localization of partial discharges in devices, that work at voltages above 500 V. Electrical circuits that enable data evaluation by using the signal from a sensor working on amplitude analysis principle were developed. For PD detection a PC controlled measuring device working on amplitude analysis principle had to be designed and realized. The possibilities of the workplace have been demonstrated in the process of development of the insulating systems for pulse transformers. Thesis results can significantly contribute to a higher quality of newly designed electronic devices and systems working at voltages above 500 V.
Optimalization and calculation of transition duct design
Havlíček, Tomáš ; Náhlík, Luboš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a methodic and a system, which would involve customized computing and consequent design of the transition duct using input and applied data effectively and would achieve optimized set of parameters. The methodic described in the thesis is applied on transition duct within air main ducting between the filter and gas turbine. Transition duct is a huge mounted assembly consisting of welded parts. NX 5 application was chosen as system environment of the thesis. Master model is a root for both design model and computing model. Weight and material optimization is a desired result which will serve as basis for designing. It is not the goal of this thesis to create one perfect computation model BUT to create a methodic, which would be manageable by any designer equipped by basic knowledge of engineering.
Hydraulic assessment of a stream revitalization effect on a floodplain retention capacity
Berka, Ondřej ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis “Hydraulic Assessment of a Stream Revitalization Effect on a Floodplain Retention Capacity“ assess availability of revitalized stream and its floodplain to transform floods and compare determined values with transformed floods from model of technically modified stream, both by using coupling 1D/2D BASEMENT computational model. In the first part is overall introduction to research issue. In the second part the territory of interest is described and the hypothesis are set. In the third part are described input data, used tools, computational model, its making and computational versions. In the fourth part the hypothesis are evaluated. It was determined, that for in this thesis used terrain and hydrographs are floods smaller than Q20 transformed much more by revitalized stream and that technically modified stream can speed up the flood, floods Q50 and Q100 are more transformed by technically modified stream. For generalization of the results would be appropriate to make research on bigger ammount of case studies based on combination of 1D/2D and rainfall-runoff model.
5-Minutes Neighbourhood
Arab, Albara ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor)
The topic of my thesis is an architectural study of a multifunctional residental building located at Svitava river bank which is surrounded by streets named Masna, Krenova and Hladikova. The objective of the study is to design a building that would utilize the space effectively and restore its function. As a result of the study, my project is divided into three compounds with the inner being a semi-public space, linked to its sruroundings by many passages and two main boulevards. The three combounds are composed of one administration block which is four storeys and the other two compounds are five storeys high, with the ground and first floors being different facilities e.g. kindergarden, restaurant, bank ,café, clinics, library, gallery, shops and a senior center. From the third to the fifth floor there are designated housing apartments comprising of small economic flats. The building has a two-floor basement, with a supermarket, technical facilities and parking. The construction of the building is from monolithic reinforced concrete frame, with the horizontal structure composed of beamless slabs. The facade is designed by using a combination of two materials i.e. white plaster and timber cladding as horizontal panels.
The system of electronic timetable for fire sport with wireless connection of targets and main hub
Novobilský, Petr ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with design and fabrication of electronic timetable for firefighters sport.
Power source supply for pulse magnetron sputtering
Chochola, Ondřej ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The delivered thesis deals with the theory of very thin layers deposition by means of pulse magnetron sputtering and the proposal, realization and testing of the power supply source for the pulse magnetron sputtering.
Secured control system
Kubáň, Michal ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the design of a small hydro secured control system. The secured control system itself belongs to the Fault Tolerant Systems category. At first the requirements on small hydro control system are discussed. Then the introduction into the basics of Fault Tolerant System theory is given. The requirements on small hydro control system and basics of Fault Tolerant Systems are basis for specification of secured control system which design and construction is the main objective of this work.
Automatic system of the central air circulation
Nedoma, Pravoslav ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Havlíček, Tomáš (advisor)
Project is target on design and realisation of device for control of central ventilation and air distribution. Control unit evaluates air quality in habitable rooms and assure automatic air change. System is driven by microprocessors and uses electronically controlled valves and ventilator regulation. Project is focused on evaluation of carbon dioxide concentration and detection of fire in rooms. Control unit cooperate and communicate via data bus with already designated control unit of hot water heating. Whole unit can be easing connected to the PC using ethernet.
The controlled heating of composites materials
Fajkus, Martin ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
Expected work solves problem of controlled heating of composite material for outdoor application. Basement of work is analysis of submitted concrete specimen of composite. Then I find out influence of direct and alternating voltage on submitted specimen and I choose method of measurement. Whereas I chose correct method of measurement, I could measure all specimens. From comparing I chose specimen of composite material, which are suitable for a next application. For chosen specimen of composite material I designed control unit for heating and tempering. The control unit was designed according to their parameter.
