Relation between Attachment and Dissociation

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the relation between attachment and disociation. In the theoretical part both concepts are examined with emphasy to link them to each other. The causes that lead to development of disorganized attachment are described from the perspective of integenerational transmission of trauma. The core of my work is based on empirical evidences linking attachment and dissociation. The studies that empiricaly identified this relation are presented together with theories interpreting these data. The work brings also practical therapeutical implications for the treatment of dissociative pacients. The empirical design elaborates the relation between attachment and dissociation among adult population using the Adult Attachment Inteview and Dissociative Experience Scale procedures. Mentalization and regulation of emotions in borderline personality disorder

This bachelor's thesis deals with mentalization and regulation of emotions in borderline personality disorder. First, the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder is introduced. Then, the factors contributing to the etiology of this disorder are presented together with the most important etiological models. Then, the concept of emotion regulation is introduced. Emotion regulation strategies and measures of this construct are presented. Subsequently, the problematic of emotion dysregulation in borderline personality disorder is discussed. Then, the concept of mentalization is defined in terms of its dimensions and differences from related concepts. Then, the issue of mentalization in people with borderline personality disorder is described. Finally, the measures of mentalization are introduced. A correlation study is presented in the research proposal. The aim is to verify the relationship between mentalization and emotion regulation in people with borderline personality disorder using The Movie for the assessment of social cognition (MASC) and the Czech version of The Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale Short Form (DERS-SF-CZ). CAN syndrome and the level of awareness among qualified and general public in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis deals with CAN syndrome. Theoretical part is focused on the definition of the term, description of forms of CAN, risk factors and consequences of child maltreatment. Attention is also paid to prevention, especially primary prevention, detection and diagnosis. The aim of the empirical part is to map the level of awareness among the qualified and general public in the Czech Republic. Understanding of the concept of CAN and its forms, knowledge of the consequences and the institutions to which one can turn in case of suspicion were inquired. A part was also devoted to individual experiences with CAN and preferred ways of awareness raising. Based on thematic analysis of responses from paediatricians, primary school teachers and the general public, appropriate ways to increase awareness, i.e. primary prevention, are suggested. Thesis deals with sexual abuse. Theoretical part defines sexual abuse first, describes forms, perpetrators and victims. The next step is description of sexual abuse as a traumatic event and traumatic process. Short-term and long-term consequences are discussed. Empirical part deals with specific phenomenon in adult's life with experience of sexual abuse. Grounded theory and case studies are used to find specific areas of interest in sexually abused persons. Results find several phenomenon in adult's life of sexually abused persons.
The effects of parental absence on adolescent relationships and their early sexual behavior

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the connection of parental absence to adolescent partnerships and their early sexual experience including sexual debut, onset of puberty and adolescent reproductive health. The most important theoretical concepts relevant to the topic are mentioned, with an emphasis on the currently supported theories and hypotheses. Based on the performed studies, the physical and so-called psychological absence of a parent are analyzed in connection to various aspects of adolescent partnerships and early sexual experience. These aspects include types of relationships, behavior towards individuals of the opposite sex, sexual activity, risky sexual behavior, adolescent parenthood and others. Attention is also paid to the link between the absence of the father and early onset of menarche in adolescent girls. On the basis of the literary-overview part, a research project which would examine the connection of the so-called psychological absence of the father with the partnerships of high school students is proposed. Anxiety disorders from a biological and psychological perspective

Barchelor thesis focuses on anxiety disorders from a biological and psychological perspective. This thesis aims to provide anxiety disorders in their entireness. For this reason, thesis focuses on psychological and physical symptoms of anxiety. Topic contains unconscious symptoms manifesting inside of a man. Thesis is divided into two main parts. First one consists of literature review, the second one consists of experiment design. Experiment design deals with physiological symptoms of social phobia.
