Plan of grid connection for small hydroelectric power plant

The purpose of the thesis is a plan of grid connection for a small hydroelectric power plant in Rastak. The introduction briefly analyses the scheme, MVE, description of the particular constructive parts and specified technical equipment as well. The main goals of the study were choice of suitable transformer, the proper VN substation as well as a plan of overhead power lines. Particular attention was paid to: figuring the short circuit current and mechanical strain, the best choice of electric field VN substation for MVE, the transformer connection in the point VN substation and geometrical measurement of its power line with 35 kV voltage summing up, it can be concluded that above mentioned is crucial to cooling of the transformer in Raštak.

Use of the MAWIS Photo solution for data collection and creation of 3D building models

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of the MAWIS Photo service for data collection and creation of 3D models with a specific focus on cable routes. In this context, the thesis provides a basic overview of the legislation and technical standards relevant to the implementation of projects and the control of cable route construction. It also focuses on a detailed description of the MAWIS Photo web application, including it`s usability, basic principles of operation, advantages and disadvantages. The thesis also discusses GIS systems and surveying in relation to energy construction. In the practical part of the thesis, the applicability of the application in practice is verified, specifically the description of the measured cable route, measurements, creation of a 3D model of the structure, subsequent creation of drawing documentation and evaluation of the achieved results. Following the direct experience gained with the use of MAWIS Photo application, the thesis also provides a critical evaluation of the applicability of the application itself in the practice of power structures.

System of Protection for Laboratory Generator Set

This thesis deals with draft of protection synchronous generator. The introduction of this thesis is devoted to the description of the laboratory generator set and to the comparison of the devices – protection terminals and measuring devices - which can be used for its protection. In the practical part, it is designed to protect the laboratory generator by means of the selected protection terminal and the way it is connected to the generator circuit so as to enable the generator to be shut down in case of a fault. The last part is dedicated to the configuration, parameterization and testing of the protection terminal.

Concept of smart home energy monitoring and management

This bachelor thesis deals with smart-metering of home. The introduction of the thesis deals with the approach of this issue. It then explains the principle of smart socket operation and the possibility of linking smart sockets with renewable sources. In the next part of the thesis there is a thorough search of existing smart systems in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the practical part, 3 commercial smart sockets were measured and evaluated. The last part is the creation of the concept of smart socket-based on microchip ADE7753. Subsequently, the implementation of the measuring device is detaily described.

Utilization of SINCAL tool in the field of network protection

This bachelor thesis is describing the basics of using program PSS SINCAL for protection of distribution networks. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. The first part is describing basics and functions of the program. The second part is devoted to the moduls, work with moduls described in form of manuals. The last part is describing creation of test network and simulation of single-phase to ground short-circuit to verify selectivity of the protection devices.

Work contains options, methods and provides the solutions available for measurement, either the electrical or physical parameters of panels or surroundings. The design is made for certain assignment. The result is functional system for monitoring fotovoltaic panels and parameters of surroundings.

Testing of distance protection

This work deals with basic fault conditions in the power system. It deals with electric protections and their requirements for service in the second section. Distance protection SIPROTEC 4 7SA610, its technical parameters and main functions are introduced in this work. Testing unit OMICRON 256plus is described in the topic dealing with testing. Manuals for adjusting the distance protection SIPROTEC 4 7SA610 and OMICRON 256plus is also included in this work. Testing of distance protection SIPROTEC 4 7SA610, analysis and evaluation of the measured values are stated in the summary.

Testing of Synchro-check Function of Feeder Protection Terminal

This thesis is oriented on testing of automatic synchronizing with the help of the machine terminal REM 545 by ABB and its synchro-check function by CMC 256+ tester by OMICRON, where network and alternator parameters are simulated. Basic principles of phasing and phasing conditions are briefly mentioned. Creation of configuration, tester preparing and test execution are described in following chapters. Test of real use is suggested at the end.

Electric boiler connection in heat plant for providing ancillary services

The bachelor thesis deals with using the electric boiler for extension ancillary services in heating plant. The system and support services are described in the thesis, because the ancillary services regulate an energy deflection. The system and ancillary services are described in the thesis. Thanks to these services an energy deflection is regulated. The thesis describes different types of electric boilers and there functions. In the thesis is shown the possible solution of using an electric boiler in heating plant Opatovice. The cable conduction is designed for a power of electric boiler. For this reason, there is calculated the equivalent warming short-circuit current close to the electric boiler.
