Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine Sensorless Control Algorithms
Veselý, Libor ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Melichar,, Jiří (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Algorithms of sensorless control of surface permanent magnet synchronous motors are discussed in the dissertation thesis. A method for position and speed estimation in high-speed region based on model reference adaptive system is described. Furthermore, classical approach using Kalman filtering was verified. Kalman filter expected the rotor speed to be constant as a modification of model using variable speed approach. These algorithms are not able to work at low speed region, thus a new method was proposed. This method is designed on extended Kalman filtering and uses the model which describes the stator inductance changes in - coordinates. At motor start, knowledge of initial rotor setup is required. The algorithm for initial rotor angle using high frequencies injected into the motor was proposed.
Technology Design Components Bearing Cover
Veselý, Libor ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design technology for product components "bearing cover“ in two variants. The first of them is designed for the production of one-piece components in company conditons. The second is concerned with the design technology for serial production of the same components using machines and tools from current production. The thesis contains designs for semi-finished components, the selection of machines from the company fleet, the design of suitable tools and cutting conditions. An economic evaluation deals with the determination of machining times for both variants of production. The proposed technology will be used for the real production of components.
Alternative control SW for dedicated thermal performance chambers with customized UI
Žlebek, Jan ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on simulating thermal chambers, their SW and HW and improving SW to meet specifications. Testing problematics connected with this thesis is briefly mentioned also. Thermal chambers used here are dedicated to run simulating test procedures for thermostats and similar devices designed to sense temperature and regulate it. Design and realisation of new SW are clarified in latter chapters of this thesis, as well as evaluating functionality and resulting dynamics and accuracy.
Control algorithms for BLDC motor for low speeds
Kozáček, Peter ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
The diploma work concerns on an issue of data collection of speed and electrical angle based on informations from Hall sensor with the necessary resolution for control of BLDC motor. Specifically, concenred on a section with low speed. Most of moors use Hall sensor for detecting speed and position of the rotor. At low speed section, becomes the situation when we can not determine the position of the rotor with (the) required (sufficient) resolution, this situation creates a „wince“ in the control (ripple torque). The task is to design and evaluate the possibilities of the algorithm for control and acquisition speed and rotor position with the required accuracy.
Optimizing Processes in the Customer Support Department
Veselý, Lukáš ; Vobecký, Tomáš (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with an optimalization of the Escalation process in the customer support department in the company Centrum služeb s.r.o. It contains the analysis of the current process and theoretical knowledge to propose a new solution. The proposed solution is a website based application, which automates the process and decreases the time to resolve customers requests.
Control of ball and plate system
Bednář, Ladislav ; Bartík, Ondřej (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
The goal of this work is to design a control algorithm for position controlling of the ball on 2D plate with feedback implemented by camera. Frist part is devoted to the design of steper motor controller, that is controlled by analog inputs. Controller was tuned on CompactRIO platform later replaced with microprocessor by Freescale. PCB design for microprocessor board is included. Next we described controlled system by mathematical model, which we use for PID controller design. Mathematical model is designed in linear form and nonlinear form, which analyze nonlinearity of rolling friction. Image processing with control loop is contained in Matlab-Simulink workspace. At last, laboratory task is designed.
AC Induction Machine Field Weakening Algorithms
Mynář, Zbyněk ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Nowadays, thanks to advances in information and power technology induction motors are deployed there, where previously only other types of electric motors were possible to use. Those typically lack the reliability and low cost of induction motors. Best results in control of induction motors are achieved when vector control is used, to which part of the work is paid. If induction motor reaches the speed when it is no longer possible to continue to increase stator voltage, there is possibility of field weakening or reduction of magnetic flux and thus achieve higher speed. A comparison of several algorithms is devoted to this work. As a simulation tool MATLAB-Simulink was used. Another part is devoted to implementation of these algorithms to the processor of 56F800E series which uses calculations in fixed point.
Mixed criticalities in motor control applications on Zynq platform
Pamánek, David ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis contains introduction to PMS motor control using development board ZedBoard with Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC. After that, there is a description of development environment Vivado and other modules. Finally, it contains description or created modules in Vivado environment which were combined together with peripheral drivers to demonstrate field oriented motor control algorithm of small PMS motor.
Universal BLDC motor controller
Pijáček, Ondřej ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of universal control unit for BLDC motor powered from airplane power distribution system of 28 V capable of driving motor up to 10 A. The maximal engine power is about 250 W. Important prerequisite is possibility of driving various motor size without needs of changing wiring board using only the configuration in the auxiliary memory unit. To control different motors is enough one unit with one program without any way to interfere to the unit itself.
