Project of centralization operating theatres in Hospital Děčín

This diploma paper deals with a business plan processing for the operating theatres centralization in Hospital Děčín. In the desk study I summed up knowledge from the sphere of strategic management, business plan creation, marketing and I put there also the description of surgical tract including building layout and personal constitution. In the empirical part there is the business plan of operating rooms' centralization and the detailed description of following chapters: description of organization, product, marketing plan, management plan, operating plan, financial plan, legal plan. The description of organization covers its features, resent achievements, history and present of surgery in Hospital Děčín. The chapter product is divided into two bodies. The first body attends to the characterization of contemporary product - decentralized surgeries including the numbers of performed operations over the past three years. The second part is all about the new product (centralized operation theatres) and its specification. There are figured out anticipated variable expenses, fixed costs and profit. The diploma thesis "The organization of work in health care. Case study of implementing employee manual on standard hospital wards Pelhřimov "manual describes the creation of employment for nurses working in inpatient department standard and the introduction of this manual into practice. The work is divided into theoretical part, which consists of five chapters and practical. The theoretical part of the information, human resources management, teamwork, employee evaluation, problem solving and team work quality in healthcare facilities. The practical part describes the process of creating the manual setting of the main goals and sub-goals and progress of cooperation author of the thesis members of the team formed for the creation of the manual. We'll also find an evaluation questionnaire, finding an employee satisfaction nurses manual and usability of information for practice. Business plan for providing interpreting services to deaf people in Carlsbad Region in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis focuses on the current situation in interpreter services for deaf in Carlsbad region in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of diploma thesis aims to inform the reader about the terminology, language, another communication code and the number of deaf people in the Czech Republic. I present the information I have gathered about the deaf community. The goal of the diploma thesis is to create the business plan for interpretation services for the deaf community for the year 2019. After studying documents from the national organization I describe the current situation in the Carlsbad region with interpreter services for the deaf. The surveys aim is to interview doctors from otorhinolaryngology and foniatry in the Carlsbad region. The interviews focus on the communication needs of people with hearing impairment and the information doctors have about interpretation services in the region. Based on the data from the research I did, I found out the exact number of interpretation services for deaf in the region. Unfortunately from the documents I was not able to find out the exact number of deaf clients in the Carlsbad region. Feedback in the management and leadership of non-medical healthcare professionals and management of their work performance

In my dissertation, I discuss the problematic of feedback in a leadership of medical non- doctor personnel and in directing its working performance. My aim was to comprehend and elucidate the process of feedback between superior and subordinate personnel, specifically between bedside nurses/assistive personnel and a charge nurse. As a secondary objective, I decided to investigate potential areas for improvement in leading management and to suggest possible advancements, which could contribute to more effective directing of work performance through the use of feedback. The dissertation is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the first theoretical part, I begin with defining the meaning of feedback. Following, I introduce topics that include: feedback in social communication, feedback in the process of directing work performance and work motivation. In the second empirical part, I present research conducted with the use of qualitative methodology, where the reader can view the discussed problematic from the perspective of subordinate (bedside nurses/assistive personnel) and superior (charge nurses) personnel. Business strategy planning to implement new service for the elderly - retirement homes

Planning of a business strategy for the introduction of a new service for seniors - a house for seniors The diploma thesis deals with the business plan in the area of housing for the elderly with respect to individual needs. The thesis is composed from theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic theoretical starting points and concepts of strategic management and business plan. We have worked on housing issues for seniors, including the latest trends. We describe the demographic situation and the related aging policy in the Czech Republic. In the empirical part of the thesis, we obtained data on the needs of seniors through quantitative research. The aim of the research was to find out the interest of prospective clients for services in residential facilities for the elderly. The research was carried out through distributed self-study questionnaires for seniors living in the Central Bohemia Region. On the basis of the obtained data, we were able to carry out a general and field analysis including an analysis of the internal environment. Environmental analyzes are outlined in the SWOT analysis. This diploma thesis investigates the topic of strategic management of human resources in the selected healthcare organization. The aim of thesis is to define short-term and long-term strategic goals of human resources management connected to the basic mission and vision of the department in the healthcare organization. The development of appropriate strategic objectives will be based on the analysis of the internal environment and also will include the results of analysis of external environment. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis involves chapters about human resources as part of strategic management, its history and possible views on that. Other chapters define the human resources management in healthcare, what are the prerequisites for successful management and strategy development. This is also related to personnel management tasks. Afterwards, the specific relevant focus is on ensuring human resources from the point of view of the organization - human resources planning, recruitment and selection of employees, the subsequent adaptation process and staff evaluation. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na navržení postupu při zavádění společnosti, která bude poskytovat ergoterapii a fyzioterapii pro děti s postižením (mentálním, fyzickým i kombinovaným) ve věku tři až sedm let v Pardubicích a jeho okolí. V teoretické části je popsána historie a současnost léčebné rehabilitace, blíže specifikována ergoterapie a fyzioterapie. V druhé části je uveden teoretický podklad důležitý při zakládání společnosti, což jsou strategické analýzy okolního prostředí, vnitřního prostředí, SWOT analýza a navazuje podnikatelský plán. Teoretická část je uzavřena představením soukromé společnosti PT Kids, která poskytuje ergoterapii a fyzioterapii ve Velké Británii. Negotiations of sales representatives of pharmaceutical companies in the eyes of pharmaceutical assistants.

Ethical behavior is an inseparable part of business life and can have a major impact on corporate culture in business companies and their communication with clients. The aim of this work was to find out how the behavior of sales representatives of pharmaceutical companies in pharmaceutical pharmacies is perceived, to describe the ethical aspects in this field, and then to propose recommendations for adjusting internal rules, values or ethical code in a selected pharmaceutical company. This task was accomplished by carrying out qualitative research to analyze and deeper describe how pharmaceutical assistants in pharmacies perceive the behavior of sales representatives of pharmaceutical companies. In order to eliminate the identified circumstances in this field, the proposed recommendation for the selected company is a thorough knowledge of ethical principles and the incorporation of techniques into the training program of the company that focus on empathy is proposed. In conclusion, adherence to ethical principles and the right corporate culture in the company can be considered crucial in the context of successful cooperation between the sales representative and the pharmacy.
Business plan for private home care agency

This diploma thesis presents a segment of home health care, its current situation and future role in providing health and social care. The aim of the thesis is to develop a business plan for establishing a home care private agency without the contribution of State health insurance. A completely private home care agency will provide primarily nursing health care in the home environment of clients, with additional services complementing the initial offering in the future. The first part of the thesis captures the theoretical aspects of business management and strategy. This section introduces a strategic concept of management including strategic analysis and business plan structure, describing the aspects influencing the start of entrepreneurial activity in the area of provision of home care. The theoretical part also includes a historical overview of the establishment of home care services and its development. The practical part of the diploma thesis includes the research part and then the analytical part. Quantitative research was conducted using a questionnaire survey, where the information obtained from general practitioners and patients was subsequently processed and embedded in a complete strategic analysis, important for the future operations of the Agency.
