Estate dress of the Catholic priesthood and its image in the visual arts. History - Changes - Meaning

In terms of the current rapidly growing investigative interest in the history of clothing (whether according to seasons, professional groups or geographic areas) the estate dress of Christian priesthood stands rather aside. It is caused also by the fact that within the overall history of clothing this subject represents a very specific group characterized by uninterrupted continuity, rich symbolism affirmed not only by the church regulations, but also by a local tradition. The theological teaching on priesthood and priestly estate formed as early as in the early centuries, nevertheless it did not remain a mere teaching, but it also had a practical impact on the life of a clergyman and his surroundings. The priest became the guarantor of social order and its associated values. Thus, a visible distinction between the priest and the rest of the community got even a symbolic dimension. This dissertation traces the ways in which the teaching on priesthood and priestly mission changed in the Christian community on the background of the general Church history. The priestly dress clearly communicates how a priest was perceived by a community, by the Church (or more precisely by the canon law), as well as how he perceived himself. Low power electrical machines

The master’s thesis introduces various types of electric motors. Overall, it is divided into 6 chapters, which the first deals with special type of electric motors, namely: permanent magnet DC motor with coreless winding, piezoelectric motor and three phase induction motor with solid rotor. For all of these motors are introduced principles, types, advantages, disadvantages and applications. The second part of thesis deals with perspective types of motors, namely: single phase induction motor and reluctance motor. For all of these motors are introduced principles, types, advantages, disadvantages and applications. The third chapter deals with analysis parameters of single phase induction motor. The analysis is performed on a borrowed motor from ATAS company by measurement and verification using simulation program Ansys Maxwell. The fourth part discusses the possibilities of increasing the effectiveness of borrowed electric motor. The following is chapter five, which deals with increasing the efficiency of the motor by changing metal sheets. Results are verified by simulations with Ansys Maxwell and measurements on sample of electric motor. The last part presents electric motor design with new selected electric sheets with lower specific losses, but also with lower magnetic induction.

Bohemian Embroideries from the period of the House of Luxembourg

Ivana Čihánková České výšivky z doby vlády Lucemburků Bakalářská práce Abstract The title of the dissertation: Bohemian Embroideries from the Period of the House of Luxembourg In the second half of the 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century Bohemian embroidery was on a very high level, embroideries made in the Bohemian workshops were ordered by kings, noble families, church dignitaries and burghers for the churches and cathedrals on the whole territory under the rule of the House of Luxembourg. The aim of the offered bachelor dissertation is to describe the period and environment in which the embroideries were created, techniques and materials then used and connections of the embroideries with the other branches of art in the period. The first part of the dissertation deals with significance and use of embroidery under the Luxembourg rule and presents nowadays known information about embroiderers and embroidery techniques. The other part contains the descriptions of seventeen embroideries which preserved in this country and abroad, analysis of their iconography and historical links with other works of art, especially with panel painting and manuscript illuminations. Motors for Special Drives

This project solves electric motor, which are used in specific drives. The aim is to show you the use of electric motor, then direct current motor, shielded pole motor and subsequent upgrade of direct current motor. I focused mainly on DC motors. I performed measurements on several motors APS Světlá nad Sázavou. Then I conducted a design to upgrade the wiper motor. I conducted innovation in the simulation program FEMM, where I was able to achieve a reduction motorcycle while maintaining performance. Benefit from the work of this enhancement is the possibility of small DC motors and possibility of subsequent cooperation with APS Světlá nad Sázavou.
