Králová, Petra ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Change in blood flow to m. biceps femoris when applying compression therapy Objectives: The primary objective of this thesis is to investigate the changes in blood flow to m. biceps femoris when applying tissue flossing technique. Another objective is to evaluate the changes in ischiocrural muscle flexibility before and after applying this technique. Methods: There are 33 healthy participants (20 women, 13 men) between the ages of 18 and 35 (mean age: 24,06 ±2,21) who took part in the experimental research. The initial test evaluated the flexibility of the ischiocrural muscles flexibility of the right lower limb (RLL), followed by the application of tissue flossing for 90 seconds on the right thigh. After releasing the flossband, a control test was performed to evaluate the flexibility of the ischiocrural muscles of the RLL. The elavulation of the change in blood flow was assessed using the Medicap Précisé 8008 device, and the change of the ischiocrural muscles flexibility was measured by the size of the Black's popliteal angle. The data obtained were processed using the mathematical software R. For the data analysis descriptive statistics were used and a paired t-test was used to determine statistical significance at a significance level of 0,05. Results: Significant changes in blood flow...
