Face Detection and Recognition
Ponzer, Martin ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper discusses problems of computer vision, which deals with face detection and recognition in image and video sequence at real time. All methods are designed for color images and are based on skin detection on the basis of information of human skin color. For skin detection is used very effective method Gaussian distribution. All of the areas, which have human skin color, are classified. This classification specifies, which area is or isn’t face. For face detection is used correlation method, complete with eigenfaces method. All areas classified as a face are subsequently recognized by the eigenfaces method. Result of recognition phase is information about human identity.
Reliable visual systems
Honec, Peter ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The Doctoral thesis demonstrates the design of reliable industrial visual systems. The special emphasis is dedicated to the detection of defects on webs in industrial applications based on line-scan cameras. This system makes possible detection and classification of defects originating during the real production conditions. This work covers a theoretical study of a visual system for the defect detection on endless bands as well as of appropriate lighting and the scene arrangement. Further to that have been selected, adjusted and designed key components of hardware. Following the design and optimization of algorithms a system prototype had been installed on non-woven textiles production line. Eight visual systems implemented into real-life industrial conditions based on this prototype
Visual inspection of axial bearing
Sýkora, Vojtěch ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis is about visual control and measurement of bearings by using image sensors and it is about providing appropriate conditions for this measurement. It describes the selection of suitable hardware to solve this case. A large part of the thesis is the design and creation of my own light. Furthermore, algorithms for processing the acquired images of bearings are proposed. The result of the processing is the determination of the type of bearing in the image and the finding of possible defects.
Design of LED lighting for industrial camera systems
Svoboda, Martin ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development, design and construction of multispectral lighting for industrial camera systems. The lighting is conceived as a modular device consisting of two parts - a control unit, which can be communicated primarily through the Modbus TCP / IP protocol, which powers, controls and collects information about the connected lighting unit. The illumination unit is equipped with 64 intelligent RGBW light emitting diodes located in an 8x8 matrix and one control diode opposite to which light intensity sensors are placed to give feedback on the color and intensity of the light. There are two temperature sensors located between the LEDs to check the temperature of the lighting unit. Both units are housed in a robust aluminum chassis. The control unit contains a microcomputer programmed in C language
Mobile application for 3D reconstruction
Krátký, Martin ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to create mobile application for spatial reconstruction. Thesis describes image processing methods suitable for solving this problem. Available platforms for creating mobile application are described. The parameters of the measured scenes are defined. A mobile application containing the described methods is created. The application is tested by reconstruction of objects in different conditions.
Adjustment of scene for electronic devices detection
Hynčica, Tomáš ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This work describes development of control hardware and software for automatic production of tuning fork with tip for atomic force microscopy (AFM). A specialized device implementing the problem is developed and tested. The advantage of the proposed solution is the ability to produce the tuning forks with constant parameters, which is an important condition for successful work with the microscope.
PowerLine Communication for LED unit control
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and testing of a system for powerline communication, enabling control of LED lights. The work first describes the basic principles of powerline communication, specifies the communication bands and summarizes the basic functional requirements for communication within the system for LED lighting control. It also describes the method of selecting a modem for powerline communication, the design of a test module with this modem and also the method of testing real communication between two test modules, including test results. The most comprehensive part of the work describes the design of hardware and software of the universal PLC module and how to use it. In addition, it referes to the development tools used as an example of implementation in LED lighting. At the end of the work are summarized the results of testing the proposed system.
Objects Classification in Images
Gabriel, Petr ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This master's thesis deal with problems of classification objects on the basis of atributes get from images. This thesis pertain to a branch of computer vision. Describe possible instruments of classification (e.g. neural networks, decision tree, etc.). Essential part is description objects by means of atributes. They are imputs to classifier. Practical part of this thesis deal with classification of object collection, which can be usually found at home (e.g. scissors, compact disc, sticky, etc.). Analyzed image is preprocessed , segmented by thresholding in HSV color map. Then defects caused by a segmentation are reconstructed by morfological operations. After are determined atribute values, which are imputs to classifier. Classifier has form of decision tree.
Traffic image sequence classification
Vomela, Miroslav ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The article introduces a general survey of concepts used in traffic monitoring applications. It describes different approaches for solving particular steps of vehicle detection process. Analysis of these methods was performed. Furthermore this work focuses on the design and realization of complex robust algorithm for real-time vehicle detection. It is based on analysis of video-sequence acquired from static camera situated on highway. Processing consists of many steps. It starts with background subtraction and ends with traffic monitoring results, i.e. average speed, number of cars, level of service etc.
UIC codes detection and recognition
Zemčík, Tomáš ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
Machine detection and reading of UIC identification codes on railway rolling stock allows for automation of some processes on the railway and makes running of the railway safer and more efficient. This thesis provides insight into the problem of machine text detection and reading. It further proposes and implements a solution to the problem of reading UIC codes in line camera scanned images.
