Small Conveyor Design
Dražka, Vojtěch ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design, construct and make a small belt conveyor for labs of Institute of Automation and Computer Science for pick-and-place application. Conveyor will not transport bulk nor heavy materials. Width of conveyor must be as low as possible and length of conveyor is set to 1 m. This thesis contains a literature review, design of conveyor, calculation of its properties and proposal for running the conveyor. Thesis also contains necessary drawing documentation and list of components with ordering numbers.
Creation of communication via OPC UA interface between PC and PLC Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200
Štěrbová, Nina ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis introduces a data exchange between a PC and PLC via a modern communication interface OPC UA. The thesis deals with a configuration of the server on a PLC and client applications for a PC including a description of its development. In this work the emphasis is especially put on educational purposes thus the aforementioned applications are of a simple character. The thesis is completed with a brief summary of findings in the field of industrial communication, OPC UA protocol and TIA Portal in order to better understand the topic.
Control Design of the Rotation Inverted Pendulum
Cejpek, Zdeněk ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is building of a simulator model of a rotary (Furuta) pendulum and design of appropriate regulators. This paper describes assembly of a nonlinear simulator model, using Matlab–Simulink and its library Simscape–Simmechanics. Furthermore the paper discuss linear discrete model obtained from the system response, using least squares method. This linear model serves as aproximation of the system for designing of two linear discrete state space regulators with sumator. These regulators are supported by a simple swing–up regulator and logics managing cooperation.
Design of automatic multichannel pipetting head
Suchý, Adam ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to make a multi-channel pipetting end effector , which could be used with a collaborative robot YuMi IRB 14000 from ABB company. The main task is to ensure the precise dosing of the liquid medium by using the pneumatic piston approach. The next phase of the thesis requires the production of a functioning prototype with a control system for the proposed device with the help of a 3D printer , whose functionality needs to be tested along with the cooperative robot YuMi.
Coin acceptor for loose-it-all machine
Dolák, Šimon ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing and construction of a coin acceptor for a loose-it-all machine. Coin acceptor is used for accepting, verifying and paying out proprietary tokens. It’s designed for a superior system, which communicates by a serial line (USART). Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on commercially avaiable coin acceptors and methods of verifying coins.
Design and realization of a new laboratory exercise with PLC B&R Automation
Cejpek, Zdeněk ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with designing of a laboratory task primary dedicated for the course „Advanced control methods“, which for the education uses the instruments of company B&R Automation. From possible aproaches chooses modeling of dynamic systems using analog electrical circuits. Those circuits are realized in modular manner, in order to allow building models of various systems. The thesis also includes a desing of proper casing, which simplifies the manipulation by building of the systems. Using designed prototype modules, a model of a separately excited DC motor was built. This model is used for realization of the laboratory task, for which is provided a short manual including some basic program for Automation Studio. The thesis also briefly introduces the company B&R, it´s products and a PLC configuration used in courses „Advanced control methods“.
Design of control circuit for towing dynamometer
Rýznar, Jan ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on design of a control circuit for a towing dynamometer. In the introductory part of the thesis is a detailed description of the towing dynamometer, including its main parts, which are necessary for proper operation. The next chapter is devoted to creating a dynamic model of an existing prototype using Simscape. Furthermore, based on the conditions from the dynamic model, a control circuit is designed, which is introduced in the form of a program into the control unit of the towing dynamometer. Based on the measured data from the transient responses, the function of the controller is gradually tuned to a satisfactory result. Finally, the function of the control circuit is evaluated and then measures to improve the stability, quality and accuracy of control are proposed.
Design of a quadcopter model
Provazník, Marek ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is about design of quadcopter model using framework ROS (Robot Operating System) and simulation environment Gazebo and RViz. It contains brief search about drones in general, dynamics of quadcopter and ROS framework basics. The practical part focuses on code of the world, model, actuators controllers and regulation of quadcopter
Piezo stage for CCHM microscope
Motyčka, Vít ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dostál, Zbyněk (advisor)
For new applications of three-dimensional imaging using a coherence-controlled holographic microscope, it is necessary to design a stage for samples that allows precise movement of the sample in the axial axis in a range larger than those normally offered by the manufacturers of these stages. This fact is supported by a search of commercially available products. Based on the requirements, two conceptual designs of the stage are determined. A suitable concept is converted into a design solution and is equipped with suitable piezo actuators. Production documentation is created. The stage is manufactured and assembled. Its correct function is verified by testing.
Family house automation system
Heczko, Dominik ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The thesis deals with the automation of a family house. After an introduction to different automation options, a system based on an open-source project Home Assistant is proposed. Commercially available devices are connected to this system to provide control of appropriate functions. For each device, the configuration procedure is described. Furthermore, a prototype of a smart lighting controller and a smart thermometer is designed and built.
