A. N. Yakovlev and His Ideological Work

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the historical personality of A. N. Yakovlev, a former Soviet functionary and ideologist, through his own ideas and reflections, and to deepen the general knowledge about him by using resources that have not yet been translated to the Czech language. The first chapter briefly presents Yakovlev's life. Furthermore, the thesis highlights the historical events that Yakovlev considered interconnected with the reforms introduced in the second half of the 1980's. This refers particularly to certain policy changes implemented by Lenin and, consequently, to 20th Congress of the Communist Party, revealing personality cult of Stalin. The main emphasis is subsequently placed specifically on this time period associated with the reform of perestroika as Yakovlev is regarded as one of its key authors and proponents.

Implementation of methods of critical thinking in teaching photosynthesis

This study discuss two phenomenones. The first phenomenon is photosynthesis; this process played a key role in the emergence of life and is necessary to maintain a various life on our Earth. Photosynthesis enables plants to use a bottomless supply of solar energy to produce organic substance and release oxygen. The second phenomenon is critical thinking; the ability to sort and evaluate new information and form "your" own opinion indispensable ability for modern human. In a theoretical part of the study is dealt with term critical thinking, teaching methods of critical thinking and photosynthesis of biological and didactic point of view. In a practical part of the study is dealt with compilation and verification materials for thematic unit of photosynthesis, which would lead to the development of critical thinking of high school pupils (students). Furthermore in the practical part is a questionnaire survey, which is evaluated existing using of methods of critical thinking at biology teachers at high schools and is analyzed their teaching methods to the topic of photosynthesis. In the study is dealt with processing the topic of photosynthesis in selected high school textbooks.

The object of metropolitan significance on the street Benesova Brno

The primary aim of my work was to complete the ring road in Brno on the building site by the Main Station near Hotel Grand. For the project was used the competition proposal of RAW – relocate the current bus station, propose a city park in the central part of the building site and propose under this site underground parking. In the north of the site was proposed a polyfunctional building which reacts to the current city objects and also to the new park. It is constituted from two objects with a calm courtyard. The functions in these objects were proposed with the context of the Main station and underground parking and the objects are constituted mainly from rentable areas for temporary accommodation, administration, catering and relaxing and they are intended for visitors and tenants of the complex and for the public. The color proposal of facades refers to the emblem and logo of the city – red and white.

Domains of the Public Sphere

This bachelor thesis describes different type of domains. The main goal is to discover the present condition of domains in Czech Republic. This work is dividend into two fundamental parts. In the theoretical part, the reader is first acquainted with the domains of particular subjects and then these domains are comparing with the domains of selected states of Europe while the practical part is focused on solving domains in public sphere of Czech Republic.
