Title: Possibilities of functional Evaluation of Patients after acute cerebral Palsy in Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of this study was to describe the problems of functional assessment of patiens after stroke. Another objektive was to determine and compare the properties ofthe most commonly used functional measures designed for stroke,in our country. Methods: This work is theoretical - research work, which is the theoretical part of the period from September 2012 to June 2013 when retrieving data from literature sources using advanced targeted keywords and thein hotkey in databases based on EBM. The practical part of the study consisted of a questionnaire, which was using the questionnaire survey gathered data needed to evaluace the clinical utility, in the period from May 2013 to July 2013. After obtaining the necessary data from both theoretical and practical part of this data was evaluated and analyzed according to the standard metodology for the evaluation of functional measures for spinal patiens (Chapman, J.R. et al, 2007) and the results of the individual measures were mutually compared. Results: In the theoretical part of the available resources found high objectivity of the free evaluated measures, the measure Barthel Index and the Functional independence measure received...

Title: Therapeutic intervention of low back pain - comparing of two therapeutic approaches Objectives: The main objective of this experimental study was to compare two therapeutic approaches: Sensorimotor stimulation by Janda Vávrová and Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in patients with low back pain. Methods: Experimental comparative study aimed at comparing the effect of Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation method of Kabat and Sensorimotor stimulation by Jandy and Vávrová in patients with chronic low back pain. The probands were selected from among patients of private healthcare facilities Medi-centre Skalka s.r.o. The assessment of pain, we used a standardized questionnaire Oswestry. The data will be processed using statistical method Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The study showed no significant difference in treatment effect low back pain between Sensorimotor stimulation method by Janda and Vávrová and Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Keywords: Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, Sensorimotor stimulation by Janda Vávrová, low back pain.
Case report of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis hemorrhagic stroke
Čápek, Jan ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; Hlavičková, Růžena (referee)
Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis hemorrhagic stroke. Objectives: The main aim of the bachelor's thesis is to elaborate case report of patient with hemorrhagic stroke and obtain theoretic findings about stroke concerning anatomy, physiology, spasticity and therapeutic methods which can be applied in cases of stroke. Methods: The first part of bachelor's thesis is theoretical and it is focused on stroke. Anatomy of cerebral blood supply and classification of stroke are described along with in detail elaborated hemorrhagic stroke, spasticity and selected physioterapeutic methods which can be utilised in neurorehabilitation. In the second part of bachelor's thesis casuistry of physiotherapeutic care of patient with hemorrhagic stroke with left symptomatology is elaborated. The casuistry was drawn up during practise in Military University Hospital Prague in the period from 7th January to 1st February 2013. Results: The pacient's condition has changed significantly during his therapy. The overall stability, walking, ADL and self-sufficiency has visibly improved, as was also confirmed by the results of used functional tests. Keywords: Stroke, spasticity, neuroplasticity, physiotherapy methods

Author: Zuzana Grycová Title: Case Study of physioterapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of fraktura proximal humeri This bachelor thesis is focused on physiotherapy of shoulder girdle after fractured upper part of the upper arm and after shoulder joint alloplastic. General part contains anatomical, kinesiological and biomechanical information about shoulder girdle. There are also information about shoulder joint alloplastic, examination and physiotherapy of a shoulder girdle. Evaluation of wheelchair adjustments and their impact on proper propulsion pattern upper extremities and sitting posture in patients with spinal cord lesions
Dáňová, Petra ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (referee)
Title: Evaluation of wheelchair adjustments and their impact on proper propulsion pattern upper extremities and sitting posture in patients with spinal cord lesions. Objectives: The objective of this work was to evaluate the adjustments of wheelchair and to determine their impact on the work of the upper limbs and posture while sitting. This work was done on a group of patients with spinal lesions with their own wheelchairs. Another objective was to assess how education of proper propulsion pattern and form and type of a grip of handrim affects the correct propulsion pattern. Methods: In the group of 26 patients with spinal cord injuries in different levels of the spinal cord, I tested the adjusments of wheelchair, in particular the centre of gravity and maximum seat height from the ground. I also investigated what education on correct propulsion pattern the patients received, and observed any home-made adjustments to handrim, as well as patients' techniques of handrim grip. Finally, I examined how the subjects drove his/her wheelchair. During all the tests, I recorded video and photo documentation. The results were statistically evaluated using the Fisher test. Results: Despite the fact that only a small group was investigated, I showed the effect of wheelchair seatings on the correct posture. I...

Determine which method of pelvic examination with stress incontinence (diagnosed and undiagnosed) is performed most often. Find out what the age group of women with stress incontinence with physiotherapists meet in their offices often. Determine which method of pelvic examination with stress incontinence (diagnosed and undiagnosed) is usually a percentage, carried out to determine how many of the respondents used physical therapists in the treatment of stress incontinence "Ostrava concept." Another objective of this work is expressed as a percentage of physiotherapists awareness about the new clinical standard for treatment of stress incontinence and technology PELVICORE. Inform the public about female stress urinary incontinence. Methods: The research was conducted using nonstandardized fifteen-page questionnaire. This e-mail questionnaire was distributed to 30 hospitals. We managed to get a total of 54 questionnaires were processed and...
