Overloading the child's leisure activities

Anotation: This thesis deals with leisure activities of children of preschool age and children of school age and it is trying to discover their favorite activities and interests, regularly visited leisure and quantity of it. The theoretical part deals with terms as free time, family, child of preschool age and child of school age, education in free time. It also deals with overloaded children and with problems associated with overloading. The aim of this thesis is the evaluation and analysis how children of preschool age and children of school age spending their free time. Through research questions we were trying to find out how children spend their free time and how many aktivities do they have in their free time. The empirical part contains the analysis of used methods , research investigation in the kindergarten and primary school in Martin. It also includes treatment of results - Its processed in tables, graphs and written comments.
Burn-out syndrom and its impact on workers of helping profession in the Church

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of burnout syndrome and its impact on Church related community workers, in order to determine how much are these workers endangered, how to take care of these workers and whether their employers are familiar with the risks of burnout syndrome. The first chapters are devoted to the theoretical definition of burnout syndrome in the overall view on this issue, but also takes a closer look on Church related community workers in the helping profession in the Church. I'm trying to capture a fully describe the motivation for helping, factors leading to burnout syndrome, diagnosis, prevention and treatment. The final chapter and the whole practical part is devoted to the history and characteristics of the studied groups, which form the priests of the three largest churches in our country: Roman Catholic, Evangelical and Czechoslovak Hussite Church. This part is a quantitative research. To illustrate the work I decided to include three case studies that document the real life stories of burnout syndrome at different stages.
The Impact of Addiction and Addictive Behavior of Adults on Children and Adolescents

This dissertation called "Influence of adult addictions and addictive behavior on children and adolescents" is divided into two parts: theoretical one and a practical one. In the theoretical part, there will be defined the addiction and the addictive behavior, after they will be put into the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems. Then we will analyse concrete psychoactive substances that causes the addiction, types of addictive behavior, factors that encourage genesis of addiction and addictive behavior, influence of addictions and addictive behavior on children and adolescents. The last chapter of theoretical part occupies with possibilities of therapy of addiction and addictive behavior. The practical part proceeds from anonymous questionnaire survey that took place at an elementary school and at a high school. In the end there is a discussion about influence of adult addictions and addictive behavior on children and adolescents.
Zooterapy and it's use in practice

This thesis "Zootherapy and its utilization in practice" deals with zootherapy, its metods and using animals like healers and companions. The thesis it divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the first part I write about zootherapy as a whole and its forms. In the practical part you can find the survey. The main goal of this thesis is to provide informations about zootherapy and spread its findings to all who are interested in this issue. Further I would like to find out whether the zootherapy has a positive effect on people who use it. In annex you can find enclosed informations about communication with handicapped client and stories of clients who use the therapy.
The risk of burnout among workers providing social services to people with mental illness

The aim of the work is to map burnout syndrome and ways to protect against it. Subject of this work is focused on social workers specializing in providing care for people with mental illness. Therefore is examined burnout syndrome with regard to the working range of profession and to the specific target group. Except traditional definitions of burnout I deal with existential dimension of exhaustion and also the situation where the crisis may be supportive to growth. Finally, the work discusses ways to prevent burnout, how to balance energy expenditure, the importance of support from the professional and personal environment and people's own abilities to protect themselves. In a survey are used methods of Maslach Burnout Inventory. Results of the research and discovered values of burn rate are then compared with results of secondary questionnaire focusing on the level of support, expectations of employees and length of experience.
The phenomenon of alcoholism and opportunities for social work

This diploma thesis explores the phenomenon of formation and development of alcohol dependence. In the first series focuses on the historical description, which demonstrates considerable anchored in the life of our ancestors already. It also defines the concept of addiction, its causes and consequences, whether psychological, medical or social. Its objective is to describe the possibilities of social work in this phenomenon. defines therefore primarily targets and understanding of social work and consequently specifics of client alcoholism. An important element is the role of the social worker in the client's motivation to change, which uses Nešpor's model of spontaneous changes in motivation. Then, on the basis of available social services selects several most suitable, which can help to improve the client's situation. Has an essential role in this issue also primary prevention, ie it discusses the methodology, target groups, focusing on adolescents and the focus is on the firm role of the family. Finally contains some official documents on primary prevention, which are discussed current issues of primary prevention practice and subsequent survey, mapping aspect of social workers on the incidence risk of alcohol dependence among adolescents attending social facilities.
