Low frequency preamplifier with audio input selector
Tlamka, Vladimír ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about the design and construction of a low-frequency stereo preamplifier with a digitally controlled switch of eight stereo inputs with different input sensitivities. In this task is the most important the quality of listening due to low crosstalk between channels, high signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion. The design includes a preamplifier with RIAA frequency correction for the possibility of direct connection of phono cartridge

Novel Hybrid One-wire Bus for Microelectronic Systems
Levek, Vladimír ; Bajer,, Josef (referee) ; Husák, Miroslav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the research and development of a new hybrid one-wire bus with special use enabling microelectronic integration. The bus, its physical layer and protocol have been developed based on applied research to meet the complex requirements of a new application group. These requirements are especially laid on the bus robustness and its immunity to interference and to work under real operating conditions. Part of the thesis is a description of existing solutions of one-wire buses, definition of current solutions and setting of goals for research of the new bus. Further are made the design of protocol and operating parameters of the bus operating in low power and power mode. In conclusion, the thesis deals with the practical verification of the proposed solution and there is also suggested a perspective of follow-up research in this area.

Hive Scale
Hlaváč, Pavel ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of an affordable hive scale which will be placed under the hive. The scale is expected to show the user all necessary information via the GSM mobile network. Incoming SMS message informs the user about the current weight and moisture. The information obtained can be displayed graphically in the application for android phones.

Basic measurement of dynamic properties of bipolar transistors
Repčík, Juraj ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze theoretical basis of measurement bipolar transistors. First, this project focuses on the static parameters of a bipolar transistor, setting DC voltages and currents in an electric circuit (Q-point, operating point). Second it deals with measurement of selected dynamic properties of amplifier with bipolar transistor. Theoretical knowledge is presented on the practical circuit by a laboratory measurement of the selected properties. The measurement is automated using a computer with LabVIEW software. User programs are developed for measuring the V-A characteristics of a bipolar transistor and for measuring selected dynamic properties of the amplifier. The thesis points out a convenient approach in development of new software for automated measurement using graphical programming in LabVIEW.

Design and realization of an active subwoofer
Hrdina, Robin ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and construction of a one-channel amplifier 200 W into 8 load for an active subwoofer. The design consists of an active correction preamplifier and output stage. Preamplifier is created of integrated operational amplifiers and is controlled by two potentiometers, input switch and phase switch. Output stage is created of integrated circuits LM3886T by Texas Instruments. Both stages were constructed on PCBs and were measured their parameters.

Wireless communicator for boat sport
Kubovičová, Lucia ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The work deals with technologies related to wireless signal transmission, Bluetooth technology and the design of a device that is used to distribute helmsman's commands on a rowing boat. The device consists of two parts that communicate with each other using Bluetooth technology. Thus, both parts of the device have a Bluetooth module that works in both parts in different modes. The control of the device pairing process is provided by a microcontroller. There are buttons used for external communication and LEDs for signalization.
